Sunny, Inviting Room with Bathroom in Charleston-Style House

My stay at Ms. Maritza’s house was truly exceptional! The place was absolutely spotless, with every corner so clean and well-kept that it felt like home from the moment I walked in. Despite my delayed flight, which had me arriving around 2 a.m., Ms. Maritza welcomed me warmly and wasn’t bothered by the late hour at all. Her kindness and genuine hospitality made such a difference. Not only was she incredibly sweet, but her husband and daughter were also just as amazing—they made me feel like part of their family. We had many conversations and laughter together—it truly felt like I’d found a second family. If anyone is looking for a place that feels like home, with hosts who go above and beyond, I can’t recommend this spot enough! Thank you, Ms. Maritza, for everything.

Sky-high hotel prices in the area made this spot a fantastic value, and the size allowed my team to have a mini-retreat, something that would have been unlikely with jusr individual hotel rooms. Andres was communicative and responsive, the place was spacious and as described. Beyond the 4 bedrooms, the extra beds are in spaces that would reduce privacy, meaning they work best for a big family, old friends, or a student group, but not necessarily for work colleagues. That said, we were a group of 4 adults, so the 4 bedrooms were perfect for our purposes. It was chilly in ATL but the central air was great -- we actually needed to turn it down because we were toasty-- and the living room/kitchen areas were great to hang out in. We had one smoker on our team so it was nice that they could step out to the backyard or balcony to do their thing. The neighborhood is on the edge-- not rough or unsafe, but not affluent or quaint, but centrality was key for us. Overall, great stay!
