The visit was for my parents but we all had a great time...Hate that the water was low but we still got our fishing on..Very peaceful..clean..spacious and we all loved it..Thanks again for the stay will be back soon

Comfy house in a wonderful location!

Lake house was as described on the listing. Very clean and upgraded appliances and furniture. Decorated very tastefully with unique items. We stayed durning a snow storm and even though everything in town was closed for 2 days, we were very comfortable. We definitely would stay again. Perfect getaway for us and our dog. .

Here’s a sugge Our second stay at Katie’s in Remarkable Place was just as magical as the first! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in every corner of the space is truly impressive, creating a perfect balance of comfort and charm. Katie has a way of making her guests feel special—whether it’s the thoughtful amenities, the pristine cleanliness, or her local recommendations that made our trip unforgettable. The serene surroundings and peaceful atmosphere were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. We can’t recommend Katie’s enough! It’s a rare gem that keeps us coming back, and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Hardystone was all that it's cracked up to be and more! We hosted a 50th birthday celebration and had such a blast. From the putting green to the hot tub, fire pit, and billiards table there is so much to do. From the moment we walked in it felt so cozy with the gas log fireplace, large living room, massive kitchen & dining area, ample sleeping arrangements, and endless square footage. Even in winter this place is amazing! You can't go wrong booking a stay here. Honestly, the cleanest & nicest Airbnb I've ever personally stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few over the years all across America & internationally. Tons of linens, lots of sleeping quarters, plenty of cooking equipment, and a lot of parking add to the inviting feeling of Hardystone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back! If you're looking for a large place to stay I'd be willing to bet there are not many accommodations on Lake Hartwell that can outshine Hardystone. Trust me. This is the place!

This place was beautiful and so comfortable. The open windows on the back of the house make for an amazing view while having morning coffee. The sunset down on the lake was so serene and lovely. Anytime we need to visit Bainbridge, we will always want to stay here. Judy was very responsive, communicative and kind. She even left us a gift. What an excellent Airbnb experience.

The lake views are beautiful …gorgeous sunrises and even better sunsets.We went in winter so the colours were breathtaking.Fully equipped kitchen.Plenty of seating areas around the house and by the lake.The bathtub was a plus .Val,The host had a welcoming handwritten note and a complementary S’mores kit that I enjoyed with my kids.A pleasant experience and a peaceful getaway!

Fantastic house and we absolutely hope to stay again. The size of the space was perfect for our girls weekend and the sonos sound system throughout the house was an added bonus. The timer on the gas fireplace also allowed for carefree, safe, and easy use of the fire both inside and out on the screened in porch. There are restaurants and grocery stores conveniently nearby as well. ONLY downside is that the driveway is exceptionally steep - but that is noted on the listing. Additionally, the neighbors had some stuff going on and their driveway is fairly close so the lights at night and some noise in the morning were noticable (but certainly not detrimental to our stay). Overall, this place is beautiful and was a great deal for the price! Will aboslutely look to stay again!

The space was beautiful and adorably decorated. We loved having access to the golf cart...our car stayed parked the entire time. Future stays, during warmer times, the kayaks and bikes would be wonderful. Watching the sunset and a fire in comfy chairs was one of our favorite things. The best thing is how responsive Missy was. She checked on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property if you want a chic, comfy little get away. We're looking forward to staying at her other properties!! <3

Beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful woods right above Lake Hartwell that has everything you ever dreamed of and is wonderful for any time of the year! The owners are really friendly and have equipped the space with everything you need for a perfect stay, great for both vacation and remote work. The two-story indoor space is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The spacious upstairs porch with table, chairs, grill, and TV is also a great living and working area. Plus there’s a covered dock with chairs to enjoy the lake scene while soaking up the sun, kayaks to explore the inlets, and even a firepit for well-rounded outdoor living!

Very nice and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area or wants to stay by the water.

This is a great little house close to the lake for a getaway. The beach area was really quiet during our stay and is a short walk from the house. Just be warned, it is down a path with a section that is fairly steep, so may be difficult to carry all your lake gear to. The house was very clean and well stocked including a range of toys for multiple age groups which was a huge amenity. My only critique is the upstairs air conditioner (located in the master bedroom for the whole upstairs) did struggle a bit to keep up with it being hot and humid. The second bedroom was a little warm even with the box fan provided. Overall though, this was a great vacation getaway rental.

This home is in a gorgeous location right on the lake. There is opportunity to hang out outside or inside, depending upon weather. It was in the 30’s and rainy when we were there, the home was very cozy. It was too wet for the fire pit. The dock would be great for spring and summer hangouts. We fished by the lakeside on the last afternoon when the sun came out. Saw a couple of deer every evening and morning. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery nearby. The beds were comfy, linens clean, house was clean, heater worked. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in this cozy little home. The house was perfect for it little family! We enjoyed the sunrise view on the lake and the deer in the evening. Chase was a great host and responded very promptly when we had questions. We will be back!

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

Great space for a couples getaway. The view of the lake was beautiful. Bed was comfy. Shower was really nice. Kitchen area smaller but has everything you need. Bed room and living room are good sizes with nice furniture and new TV. Overall it’s a great place in a great area where airbnbs are few and far between. Will definitely return if available again. Hosts were excellent.

I stayed with my 13 year old and 22 year old boys and my mom. We had a relaxing and amazing time. The cabin is really clean, beds are comfortable and kitchen is loaded with anything you might need. We made s'mores by the firepit outside and just sat and talked and laughed. The creek is very peaceful and we attempted to fish but it had been raining a lot. I would definitely love to come back when it is hot to enjoy the creek.

This is the cutest little place! Dylan was an amazing host and super responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had literally everything we needed which was super great because we weren’t in town for very long. The door dividing the cabin into two was also nice because both parties were able to have privacy. I really want to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake which is nearby!! Overall, this cabin was cozy, clean, and soo homey!

What you see in the photos is truly what you get! We enjoyed the cabins for our family of 4 ( kids age 4&10) and our dog, too. The kitchen is not only updated but also has everything you'd possibly need in the cabinet, even more than my own home. The area is very quiet and the cabins give a cozy vibe that made for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The lake views were truly breathtaking. My son spent hours fishing on the dock. My family enjoyed the cabins for the week of Christmas. Nicole had the house decorated for Christmas, which was a nice addition to the cozy cabin vibes. We appreciated the easy entry, fast communication, easy check out, well stocked toiletries, plenty of plates and utensils, washer/dryer with laundry soap. Nicole also provided great recommendations like Vogel State Park's waterfall. If you are searching for a quiet, mountain getaway on the lake, look no further! I am so glad we chose to stay at Nicole's cabins. We would definitely come back again!

Greg was a phenomenal host! From the moment I first messaged him to the end of my stay, he responded to every message within minutes. This place is truly a hidden gem! The cabins are perfect for two couples or a family with kids. The interior is updated and well-maintained, with plenty of towels and extra bedding—something I really appreciated since I’m someone who frequently washes bedding, especially after spending time on the lake. It's rare these days to stay at an Airbnb that doesn’t come with a long list of chores before checkout. Here, all we had to do was wipe the counters and bag up the trash. It was such a breeze! The dock is absolutely stunning! It’s massive compared to others I’ve seen, with tons of lounge space upstairs and room downstairs to dock a jetski or boat—which we did. And I have to mention the GoBoat Float! Nothing was better than sipping wine in the sun with my feet in the water, without having to be fully submerged. The ladies at Amelia’s Wine were so lovely

My 2nd time staying. This place will always be my go to when I need to get away.
