Vacation rentals with lake access in Genesee County

Couldn't have asked for me. Just as described and Dan and his wife offered great hospitality but we never "in the way," even though it is their house! LOL Dan was even kind enough to work with me to get his TV programmed to accept my own DirecTV credentials so I could watch my hometown channels and DVR's I needed to see while I was at his place. 5 stars all around.

Andrea was super responsive and helpful. Definitely worth the price! She was always kind and even when I didn’t check in the time I said I would she sent a message to make sure I was okay. (I got held up at work) The place is adorable! I love the little accents of florals and butterflies. I will likely stay there again if I go to Michigan Ren Faire!

There was literally everything already stocked to make a guest feel right at home-away-from-home! Perfect for a romantic getaway! We loved how perfectly decorated and incredibly inviting the space was!

We had fun at this place! The babies loved it and we had such a good time doing bonfire, grill and barbecue( he has all that you need for outdoor activities! The boat and kayak was my favorite part. Fleming was super communicative and very flexible with the times. We had a blast! Thank you!

Tiffany was an ideal host. She gave clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was actually nicer than it appeared in pictures. The gas station across the street was perfect for grabbing something quick to drink or ice for our ice chest when leaving. We really enjoyed our stay, the cute town the home was in and how easy it was to get to all the towns we wanted to visit.

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Meg was definitely a great host. Her place was better than the pictures. From the time I got there to the end I felt so much at home. She greeted and helped me at the door upon arrival and with refreshments. I’m normally a hotel girl but if host are as great as Meg I’ll stay in Airbnbs more. Anytime I visit Michigan if this is available you can guarantee I am booking here.

Terry is very helpful, responsive, caring, and proactive. I enjoyed his place a lot and will recommend for any out of town guests. It’s very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It was a perfect place for me to stay; close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you for everything!

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

Amy and Beau’s place was incredible. We were able to take the kayaks out and paddle out to the bridge. We also enjoyed the comfortable accommodations—especially the beds. A fire pit at night completed the weekend. We will definitely be back!!

This cottage was in the perfect location for the conference we attending at Suburban Collection in Novi. Very beautiful surroundings and the perfect place!

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

The home and location were absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as listed and was so beautiful and homey. I just wish the weather had been a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and activities. I highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks so much!
