Vacation rentals with a kayak in Edisto Beach

Great place to stay in Park Circle. So close to Firefly Distillery for a concert. Great food in walking distance and short drive. Only 30 mins from downtown Charleston, but better (IMHO) to be surrounded by a natural setting in a clean and comfy house. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Outstanding. The home is beautiful and comfortable. Very spacious with great outdoor areas to enjoy. The photos match up perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet. We didn’t use everything available to us but loved to dock and the porches and decks. We enjoyed the area very much and would definitely book this AirBNB again. The owners are very responsive and want you to enjoy the stay. We appreciated the use of the elevator in the home for luggage and our dog’s crate—made it so easy to get settled.

My husband and I loved this place on Goose River Reservoir. I picked it because it was on the water. It was peaceful and relaxing on the enclosed back deck. It is close to great stores and eateries. About 20minutes to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. There is plenty for kids to do at the house. The Master bed was comfy and warm. Shower was awesome. What I liked: The house felt warm and cozy. I liked being on the river and listening to the bugs, squirrels and birds. We loved being on the back deck relaxing and drinking our coffee. House rules were not overbearing, but to just clean up after yourself, no dirty dishes left in the sink, take out trash and bring the towels down to the washer. I tried to sweep, but I didn't find a broom. I spilt coffee grinds, but was able to clean it up. Communication with the owners was great and quick response! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

The rental property was just as described. The location was perfect as our family was there for our son's wedding which took place at The Island House venue which is less than 1/4 mile away. The property had a lot of open space and a huge kitchen which made it excellent for hosting dinner. Everything was clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this unit.

It was exactly what our family needed. Seeing the dolphins swimming was an extra bonus .

Tim is a very responsive and caring host. I lost my wedding band and he went the extra mile to help us find it afterwards. His property is at a good location to Charleston. Worth the visit!

Our family of five felt right at home at Olivia's place. She was friendly and communicative, and the house was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the retro decor inside and the relaxing backyard with Adirondak chairs and the outdoor sofa. The location was very convenient for short trips to stores/restaurants in West Ashley as well as going to downtown Charleston (about 10 minutes). We also greatly appreciated the beach chairs and towels and other useful amenities.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful marsh-front home near Charleston! The setting was peaceful and full of Lowcountry charm, with gorgeous marsh views right from the backyard. One of the highlights was definitely the chickens — fresh eggs every morning made breakfast extra special! The house itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Edisto Beach, which made day trips super easy. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, this is it! Sunsets are amazing. It is perfect for stargazing. And the silence seeps into your soul. We left rejuvenated. Her place was perfect for the 2 of us. I would stay here monthly if I could! Ps. I highly recommend getting some shrimp & oysters (if you come in the ‘R’ months) at Flowers on Hwy 174 heading to Edisto Beach.

We had a wonderful little getaway, we absolutely loved staying at the Mermaid Tiki Cottage. It was so beautifully decorated, very clean, and we felt so comfortable there. The golf cart was great, it was a great location. We would definitely stay here again. Missy was wonderful at keeping in touch with us, before and during our trip!

Pam and Ollie were so nice and attentive. The place was peaceful, clean and quiet. The amenities were perfect.

How can I best describe our 5 day stay at Janie's cottage? I'll put it this way: the TV stayed off and we didn't even connect to the WiFi -- that's how relaxed you will be and immediately drawn in by the accommodation's charm and the overwhelming beauty of the setting. Book this cottage and feel your stress melt away as you turn in the drive. Keep your camera handy to capture the passing dolphins in the bayou, the acrobatic barn swallows swooping above the dock, and the wonderfully rare fireflies that dance through the moss-covered tree limbs.
