Cottage vacation rentals in Edisto Beach

We decided to check out Tybee Island on our drive back to Maryland from Florida this year. It was a perfect weekend respite to break up the long drive. The cottage is just as pictured -cozy, rustic and delightfully charming. I loved all of the whimsical touches throughout (particularly the champagne bell!) The king bed and living area chairs were very comfortable but the best spot was out on the screened dock porch-lounging on the swinging bed-cool in the shade and by the constant breezes. While the tide swings didn't cooperate for use of the kayaks, we did enjoy biking all over the island and the use of the golf cart to explore. The outdoor shower was also a big win! I highly recommend this spot for some R&R!

We had such a wonderful time at this house!! We traveled with two toddlers and a baby and felt like the house was very safe for them. They even had the best toys the kids were in love with! Chris communicated constantly and was helpful if anything came up. The back porch was dreamy for hanging once the kids were asleep. Highly recommend to any family!

I felt so at home i extended my stay not once but twice! Waking up to that view was everything. And the hot water was working. we had a little ant problem but I think it was our fault not the resort just keep in mind if you cook put your food away or you will wake up to some small friends

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

Loved staying at "Just Pinch Me". It was one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and local restaurants were only a short bike ride away. Easy walk to the beach with beach gear supplied. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Loved the large screened in porch for sitting in the morning with our coffee or in the evening with a drink. The screened in pool and spa tub were very relaxing also. You could tell Lisa made sure everything was kept up and ready for her guests. Lisa was very easy to communicate with if you had any questions. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Tybee Island.

Great location. Close to Forsyth Park supermarket and coffee shop. Near all the great attractions in Savannah. The unit was amazing, clean, fantastic kitchen, especially for me who has food allergy challenges and really relies on a well stocked kitchen. The backyard, hot tub, and games made for a great weekend. This is our second stay here and would definitely visit again.

This place was terrific! Even better than the pictures. Clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was great as were the bedrooms and outside amenities. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

I loved this little cottage. It was 11 of us total. Everyone had a place to sleep. It’s so quaint. I was able to get it a few hours before getting to my location. Very helpful and friendly host!

Wonderful place on Folly! My mom and I went to celebrate her 60th. It was a perfect two bedroom for us and great walking distance to shops and restaurants. Absolutely would stay here again. Thank you! :)

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. After driving for 3 days, it was the perfect place to rest and relax. The cabin with fenced in yard and screened porch had everything we needed. We used the trails, fishing gear and kayak! Denise and Tanya were amazing hosts! Loved all the little touches. Would highly recommend!

This place is very convenient when staying with a pet. Close to downtown Charleston with easy access to many of the restaurants and tourist areas (10-20 minute drive, depending on traffic) quiet, safe neighborhood, Whole Foods close by. Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable place that is pet friendly.

We had a such great weekend at Keila's home! We arrived late at night to plenty of lights on, cold drinks in the fridge and snacks on the counter, all very much appreciated! The kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs and a cute little coffee station. We appreciated the washer and dryer after a weekend of exploring it was nice to go home with clean clothes. The home is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown and is an easy drive to get there. Keila was very responsive to my questions and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Thanks again for a great stay!

Tara’s place was clean and bright. Great location: walkable to restaurants and the beach. Grateful to have parking on premises. And an added plus was the house was stocked with baby items so we didn’t have to bring our own. We’d recommend her place to anyone traveling to Folly Beach!

Peaceful, quiet location where you can just sit on the porch and watch the birds, turkey and deer on the property. The cottage is well appointed and clean. Great location to visit the greater area on day trips. And at the end of the day the bed was very comfy! Great stay in central Johns Island.

My husband and I were so impressed with this little cottage. Thomas obviously was very thoughtful about making the most of the space with the using of a sliding door for the bathroom and a high-top table with stools. I loved that there were plentiful places to put our things, in the kitchen, sleeping area, and bathroom. One touch we loved was a motion-activated set of little lights under the bed, which made it easy to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. We also enjoyed relaxing in the yard one afternoon in the Adirondack chairs. The cottage was perfectly clean, the sheets soft, and the bed comfortable. Thomas's place is in a great location, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and even a jazz club. We also used a ride-share service several times with very short waits. Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't need a lot of space!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cucumber Cabana. It has tons of character and we were very comfortable. Tennille was an amazing host that gave lots of recommendations. She was friendly and quick to answer any questions. The cabana was clean, exactly as described, and well stocked with linens, coffee, and, thankfully….pancake mix! Know that breakfast options are limited on Daufuskie so we really appreciated the thought to offer that. We look forward to future visits and highly recommend a stay in Tennille’s property.

We really enjoyed our stay! Close to everything and folly beach is really nice. The listing says the place is on their property, but we didn’t realize it was steps from their front door. They were outside often so sitting on the patio didn’t feel as private. Just something to note. Our overall stay was good. Place was very clean, had everything you would need and bed was comfy. Would recommend this Airbnb!

Beautiful set up! Lyndy was super responsive and made sure we were taken care of. The location is perfect and not far from downtown Summerville. 100% worth it, will book again!
