We absolutely loved this place!! Very clean, spacious, secluded, water pressure great, beds very comfy, furniture comfy!!! I can’t say enough about this place!

We had an amazing stay by the lake! The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, scenic, and relaxing. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was responsive, accommodating, and made check-in seamless. We highly recommend this spot and can't wait to return!

We had one of our best family vacations ever at Scotts home on Hyco Lake. Our four teens went from fishing to pickle ball, to movie nights, dinner on the back porch, and then repeated it all. The beds were all soft and we had great nigbts sleep. All toiliteries were supplied and we never ran out of anything. Fully stocked kitchen- I'd add another pizza pan and a large serving bowl, but thats it. Towels, sunscreen, pickle balls, paddles, life jackets- all there. We only had to leave to get worms at Ma Barkers and were able to hibernate together and connect and fellowship together. We did bring most of our groceries with us and theres a food lion close by for anything we forgot.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The house and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning; peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights for us was the access to all the water toys. We had so much fun with the kayaks and truly appreciated being able to use the boat lift! Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene lakeside retreat. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Hyco Lake!

We had a lovely weekend in Raleigh!! Alok was a fantastic host ensuring clear communication before and throughout our stay! The house is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful backyard and screened in porch for when the bugs come out!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, including much appreciated snacks. Sitting out on the deck in the evening was a treat and the access to a walking path and hiking path through the gate in the back yard was so wonderful. We would highly recommend staying at Michael & Clara's. Thank You

We had an overall 5 star stay here. The house and area itself is quiet and lovely. The hot tub and wood stove made the space very cozy. The views were amazing! Because there wasn’t much boat traffic or many neighbors around, it was very peaceful and quiet (there is probably more noise in the summer). Nearby uptown Roxboro is fun place to walk around visiting shops, bakeries and restaurants, even though it is small. And even though this is a rural area, it’s easy to get groceries. We also appreciated having soap and toilet paper and tons of board games provided. None of the house quirks bothered us, although in the summer months, being asked to limit laundry after lake activities might be more impactful on our enjoyment. We did have less responsiveness from the host than we are used to. None of our communication was a vital part of our comfort/overall enjoyment, but I do think it’s worth mentioning that since I’d be concerned if there had been a more serious issue to correct.

Christine’s home was perfect for my family to stay in for a whole week while attending multiple college graduations in the triangle. The home was beautiful, clean, and the lake view was so peaceful. The kitchen was stocked with spices and condiments, there was plenty of plates/silverware, and working with Christine was seamless. We were all “wow’ed” by this stay!

I give it 5 star, it not mean it’s good. there’s no hot water for the shower. I tried many times, but it just wouldn’t get hot. The other faucets have hot water, but not the shower, which is really strange. So, I haven’t showered for five days—it’s miserable. There are two rooms. The one near the door is nice and quiet. The inner room, however, is very noisy—every time the air conditioning turns on, it makes a loud noise. Plus, there’s no blanket in this room. I eventually found one in the cabinet, but it’s thin—not really a proper comforter. Pretty rough experience.

Great stay with a rustic experience. Loved hearing the rooster when i arrived and the frogs at night. The Magnolia tree smells amazing. Definitely off thr beaten path and a great get away for fast paced city folks. The studio had some many detailed touches and was very nice!

This location is peaceful and charming. It was exactly what we needed. The space was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the white noise machine—although you didn’t need it with the bullfrogs lulling me to sleep each night. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent stay! It is always hard to find a convenient and affordable private room +bath, but this stay even had access to kitchen and laundry machines. Everyone was quiet and respectful during our stay. You can hear birds chirping from the trees, there are tons of nature walks and downtown is closeby.

Wonderful. Highly recommended. Especially loved that you set up the fire pit in back so I could easily start a fire. We ate our breakfast by the fire. That was my highlight.

Perfect spot to stay the night before an early flight. clean and bright, just enough room to spread out a bit and have a takeout meal at the table. It was quick and simple to get inside. I wish I'd gotten to stay longer to explore the Greenway. :)

We had a great time at the Cottage! The lake was beautiful to kayak on and the general environment was very relaxing. The host was super kind and great with communication! Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area!

Loved loved the stay. Great for my family including my dogs. Only thing missing was a few sauce pots but I made it work without them just fine. Will definitely be back to spend more time at the boathouse.

This was our second time staying at Molly’s Place. It’s always so hard to leave. From the moment you walk in you and your fur babies will feel right at home. My husband said that as soon as you walk in you feel relaxed, which is awesome after a long roadtrip. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s, none as well appointed & stocked as this one. Every thing you could need for your dogs, many beds, toys/balls & bowls, as well as snacks. The back porch & patio area are the perfect spot to relax while your fur babies run & play in the large fenced in back yard. The kitchen is amazing, stocked to make cooking a breeze, gourmet meal, no problem. We only did breakfast but frying pans & spatulas a plenty, the farm fresh eggs, pancake mix & syrup were a nice surprise. Bathroom had plenty of plush towels, washcloths, the beds were so comfortable. If you are looking for comfortable, cozy with a little bit of luxury mixed in, you will not be disappointed.

We had a great time paddle boarding the lake and chilling on the screened porch. Went out for drinks to buoys to break up the stay.

This was our third stay at this location and Grimsley is a wonderful host. He’s kind and responsive and quickly resolved any concerns. Thanks for another stay in a lovely setting.

Moriah’s place is a quiet, beautiful place. Sitting on the back porch and overlooking the water was so peaceful. She was extremely helpful throughout everything, and was open regarding her expectations and all. The price is extremely reasonable and we will more than likely utilize this Air B&B if we go back to the area!

My daughters and my sister and I had a great time visiting John's place for a quick get away! What a peaceful place to stay. The views were great. The lake so lovely to look at and hang out on the doc. The cabin is bigger than the photos make it appeared. The kitchen is new and very well equipped. AC worked great in 100 degree weather too! We were glad we had a nice SUV to drive down to the doc to take our chairs and rafts to the doc due to the slope and one of our family members needing to have some help down to the water. I enjoyed waking up to deer in the field grazing before starting our day. Lovely time and would love to come back next summer too.
