Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Durham County

We were in town for wedding festivities at two different venues near by. The house was lovely. Plenty of room for all. The twin bedroom doesn’t have a closet to utilize but we made it work by storing items in other rooms. We knew going in that this was primarily a kids room But my husband and I were happy to use this space and let others have the larger bedrooms. There are plenty of towels and even ones provided for the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed. Don’t sleep on the recommendation of visiting Ray’s supermarket on the corner. It has the necessities and also had a nice selection of meats. We even purchased homemade sausage to bring back home! Owners are a pleasure to work with! The home was perfect accommodations for friends to come together and visit while celebrating a wedding. 10/10 recommend!

Superb. A great quick getaway with the family. Beautiful property. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, also indoor jacuzzi. Kitchen was well-stocked, as were bathrooms. Everything was at our fingertips. Very streamlined decor in entire house, and it was extremely clean, which made it more relaxing. We were happy to be able to bring our dog along, as he doesn’t travel with us much. It was nice to have him there. Hosts gave us great outing recommendations for around town, including shopping districts, hiking, and a very timely Art festival, perfect for my wife and son who are both artists. Host was highly attentive and responsive when we had a question. Quiet, safe neighborhood; easy access to grocery and downtown. The family all enjoyed, and we would visit again!

We loved staying at Justin’s beautiful house and definitely hope to come back someday soon! The home itself is bright, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for our family of 4. We also really enjoyed spending time in the yard and on the deck, eating all of our meals out there, hanging out in the hot tub and sauna, and enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods. The house feels very private, even though you’re close to the road and have easy access to Hillsborough. We were very happy with the location. Justin and his family were also great communicators/super nice people and easy to coordinate with. I would definitely recommend this place!

Was in town with my partner to visit & support a friend who lives close by looking after aging parents & needed a break & some loving support. Staying at Ashley’s creekside Sanctuary was just the ticket. Hot tub nestled under the tree canopy next to the creek was delightful. Home is well cared for & not your typical rental. Lovely neighborhood with mature trees & wide streets. Porch swings just the ticket to unwind or to slip out to answer calls. Bed was comfortable. Great kitchen … we cooked a few meals for our friend & they have a good amount of the necessities to make it easy. Great kitchen table & view out the panoramic window to the backyard & your own enchanted forest. We saw multiple red cardinals, hummingbirds & more while relaxing in the hot tub. They had Hulu & more already loaded to use so was helpful. Overall a great find, just what we were looking for, & we will be back for sure to see & support our friend & Ashley’s Creekside Sanctuary is just the spot. I recommend 🙌

Lovely stay with our dog, very cozy

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Cary for a friend’s wedding weekend in Raleigh! There were 8 of us, and the house was absolutely perfect—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked. We were especially touched by the welcome basket with snacks and goodies waiting for us when we arrived. The pool, hot tub, and back patio made it easy to relax and enjoy some downtime together. Jonathan was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to accommodate all of our requests. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

4 of us stayed here for a softball tournament. The house was as described. Clean and inviting. It made you feel like you were in a home, not a house. The deck area is amazing. Alison checked in on us each day to make sure we had everything we needed and if she could offer assistance. When renting an Air BNB, Alison is the exact type of host you want to have. She was proactive in reaching out to us and responded quickly when we had a question. I would recommend that anyone traveling to Raleigh take advantage of this jewel of a house. I would also say that I am confident that any house Alison has, will meet/exceed all your expectations. Thanks for a great house!

We had an overall 5 star stay here. The house and area itself is quiet and lovely. The hot tub and wood stove made the space very cozy. The views were amazing! Because there wasn’t much boat traffic or many neighbors around, it was very peaceful and quiet (there is probably more noise in the summer). Nearby uptown Roxboro is fun place to walk around visiting shops, bakeries and restaurants, even though it is small. And even though this is a rural area, it’s easy to get groceries. We also appreciated having soap and toilet paper and tons of board games provided. None of the house quirks bothered us, although in the summer months, being asked to limit laundry after lake activities might be more impactful on our enjoyment. We did have less responsiveness from the host than we are used to. None of our communication was a vital part of our comfort/overall enjoyment, but I do think it’s worth mentioning that since I’d be concerned if there had been a more serious issue to correct.

Great communication, great neighborhood

Stunning home and property - we spent the majority of our time outside. We particularly loved fishing the pond. Hosts are proactively communicative and also respond quickly to any requests or needs. If we’re ever back in the area we look forward to staying again.

I rented this place for my first solo trip. I couldn’t have picked a better spot! From the secluded private yard, to the hot tub, to the beautiful area. I had such a wonderful birthday and a wonderful first trip on my own! I will absolutely be coming back!

We had the most amazing stay at this peaceful lakeside spot! The property was beautiful and relaxing. My son was over the moon getting to help with the ducks and chickens—it was such a special experience. Lisa was awesome with her personality and charm! The whole place felt like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique, kid-friendly getaway!

Our stay at Mountain Vibes Log Cabin was immensely enjoyable, wonderful and amazing. This Airbnb venue is a gem indeed with so many amenities to enjoy along with the cabin itself. Lina and Marcio were wonderful hosts, 100% responsive, rapidly assisting with any and all requested needs during our stay!!
