Vacation rentals in Como

This was our second time to stay at this secluded little community on Lake Cypress! Love the flexibility of having our own dock to tie up our fishing boat, easy access to and from the cabin and can't beat the views! Will be back every Fall :)

Amazing stay, I’ve already recommended to friends. The cabin was decorated perfectly, I enjoyed all the different sitting options on the deck to take in the peaceful environment. The hiking trail was great, and it was easy to drive into town for snacks and food.

The cabin was super clean, in a pastoral, wooded setting. Very restorative break from our busy lives. The large windows brought the feeling of the outdoors into the cabin. The weather turned very cool while we were there and the heaters kept us very cozy and comfortable. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a hassle free, restful stay.

The place is beautiful and the location is great. It just needed more space for parking. We had 3 trucks and boats and just enough room for two boats and trailers and if you use garage you have to unhook. Other than that it’s perfect

This is my favorite getaway from Dallas. Beautiful trees, roaming deer, quiet location, and immaculate lodging with the best hosts I’ve ever had. When I drive through the gate, I breath a huge sigh of relief! This is my 4th trip and I keep going back because it’s that good!

Area was beautiful! The cabin was so clean and the host was very quick to answer!

This is our nineth time visiting Vildanden! Eight Thanksgivings and one Fourth of July.. We can't stay away! We look forward to our annual Winnsboro getaway each year and it never disappoints. From fishing off the dock and boat house, having morning coffee in our favorite Vildanden coffee mugs and soaking in the peaceful environment, being steps away from the little park where there are more fishing opportunities (we are big anglers!) and being minutes away from stores and local places to eat and enjoy the community.. This place is my home away from home and it will always be absolutely dear to my heart. We love Eric and Gail and how they make sure Vildanden has open arms for us when we arrive. Thank you so much! This place was wonderful from the sunrise outside breakfast nook to the sunset forest bath. We felt so welcomed and still at home making an anniversary steak with the kitchen tools on our second night there. If you like state parks there are also 2 with a 40 minute drive. We highly recommend this tree house and it’s a short hour drive from the DFW area. The hose was very responsive and helpful with our questions.

Wow! What a spectacular property everything and more then advertised . Caught 16 catfish and a few bass. The accommodations were exceptional and had all the amenities of home from comfortable bedding to everything in the kitchen. I took full advantage of the 4.5 acres to roam and find that special fishing hole. Hope to come back in the near future.
