We were here for baseball and just needed a safe place to spend the night. Host was very responsive and clear with instructions. Home is close to downtown.

Beautiful home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Everything was spotless and the hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay. We visited this home with another family, so we had 4 adults and 3 kids (all under 3 years old). The home was friendly for our littles, not too many breakables or unsafe items to worry about. We felt like there was plenty of space for all of us. The real highlight though was the scenery around the house. Pastures with flowers blooming full of goats, sheep, and a single donkey, pig, and turkey mixed in. Feeding the donkey was a favorite. They also had a chicken area with adult+baby chicks. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, and it had everything we needed. We forgot to bring chicken bullion, and Nahida was kind enough to share some of hers. A couple notes that may be helpful for future visitors: Some of the doors stick a bit, and it was hard for our 3 year old to open them if they were closed all the way. The bathroom is only accessible through either of the bedrooms which was a bit tricky after we put the kids to bed having to sneak through.

Peaceful and tranquil stay! The cabin had everything we needed. Excellent instructions and recommendations from host! Favorite part - comfy beds and the garden turtles that were at the pond behind the house. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time at the magical forest. It was a good getaway from all the hustle and bustle. Everything was just as described. We lit a fire and enjoyed chatting out on the deck overlooking the water. I flipped the canoe the first day we were there and had everyone rolling. At the time I didn’t think it was so funny. The water was a bit cold at first! I enjoyed the feeding the fish and just the peace and quiet of it all. We walked the trails and swam in the pool. I noticed that there was wedding arbor which looked like a great spot for a country wedding. AC kept it nice and cool and the WiFi was very strong. Plenty of stuff to watch and steaming services to use when you want to relax and watch something. We loved the high ceilings and windows overlooking the water and the morning sun shining through. This is a great place to get away and Aimee was a great host. She was quick to respond the few times we had questions. Loved our trip to Magical Forest!

This is our second time staying at the Cardinal Cottage, and my guess is that it won’t be the last! We love the simplicity of the space and make great use of the laundry/pool room for storing wet clothes and quick changes. Upstairs is spacious and comfortable and fits our family of 6 extremely well. We appreciate baby items like the pack and play, as well as the high chair seat so that we don’t have to pack as many of these things on our own! The pool is a small distance from the house, but great visibility, so we could let our older kids play as we watched from the screened porch, which also makes it feel incredibly serene when in the pool. The lap pool is totally unnecessary, which makes it all the more super-cool! There is a generous landing pad in the pool where my toddler could play, and my older kids loved doing laps and diving for pool toys in the deep end! The hot tub was perfect—even though it was warm out—to enjoy at sunset. This space is so well thought-out and clean!

What a wonderful little slice of heaven. I felt like a kid again, sleeping in my grandmother’s front bedroom. Except this one had A/C thankfully! There’s nothing bouchée here. Just like my grandmothers house. Nothing fancy just eclectic and fun and best of all comfortable. Rinn was there to welcome us with her friendly smile. Tomcat was lovely too until he realized I had my dog with us and we never saw him again 😂. The beds were so comfy, with those soft comfortable cotton sheets that we almost missed the sunrise because we didn’t want to budge. What a beautiful and peaceful place! If you’re looking to relax and enjoy some time away from the noise of modern life then this is your place!! Our little cottage had a nice porch that we enjoyed sitting and listening to country night sounds until we could no longer ignore the beds beckoning us. Also, there's a very nice lodge with kitchen facilities for making a midnight snack.
