This is always a great place to stay whenever I am in Herndon. Buddy is a terrific and responsive host. The room and bathroom are clean and there is even a common space to stretch out. Always my choice if it is available.

Paul was very responsive to texts, and he and his wife were very accommodating. They had tea and coffee stocked as well as cream in the fridge. They also provided a jug of bottled water and cans of sparkling water. The last day they dropped off croissants so we wouldn’t have to stress about food on check-out morning. When we ran into them outside (they live upstairs), we mentioned a couple of things that would be helpful for future guests, and they immediately ran out and got them. We could hear some footsteps upstairs, but no voices or loud noises—they were very quiet and respectful of us being in the basement. We got to park our rental car in the driveway while they parked on the street, which was above and beyond. The beds and fold-out couch were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. They kept the temperature nice and cool so we slept very well. This neighborhood is on flight paths for both airports so you will hear a lot of planes, but the location is worth it.

This place is truly a hidden gem. I have family in the area and loved the convenience of staying nearby but having space for my family. The host was responsive and easy to work with. My wife generally prefers hotels, but even she loved it!

Great place to stay in Petworth, easy getting in and out, helped keep us cool in the DC summer heat - we’ll likely return as we make more trips to this neighborhood!

We really loved the en suite washer & dryer. The layout was very livable with lots of storage spaces. The use of borrowed daylight was effective via glass block sections in the living area and bathroom. We loved the quiet neighborhood, the easy walk to the Metro & grocery store, and restaurants downtown could be reached via the circulator bus. Jeff and Peggy were friendly and helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. If our son wasn’t moving out of the area, we would likely choose to stay there again.

Rodrigo and Monica were wonderful hosts, I would 100% recommend this location to anyone interested, as a busy graduate student the amenities at this location saved me lots of time and it was well worth the trip!

I stayed at Smirna's place with my fiance and sister for a few days and it worked well for three adults. The space was comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. Check-in was a breeze. The location is an easy drive from the Dulles airport and has good access to the highway into downtown DC as well as the DC metro and a number of nice suburban communities. The spot was perfect for us and I would recommend it to other travelers.

I had a fantastic stay at Willie’s place in Arlington! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—actually, even better. The location was super convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shops, yet it was in a quiet, safe neighborhood that made for a relaxing stay. Willie was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He made check-in and check-out a breeze and even offered great local recommendations. The space had everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a fully equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. It really felt like a home away from home. Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again.
