Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Central New York

Well kept clean old house and furnishings. Terrific unobstructed view of the Hudson from two of the bedrooms and living room facing East. I loved sitting by the bay window in the master bedroom with the sun shining in watching barges on the river and with views of the town of Hudson on the far side of the river. The owners stuff was in the closets and refrigerator and freezer full of her food but that did not bother me. I appreciate having condiments, salt, sugar and pepper available. There is a washer/dryer but no dishwasher and only one bathroom. Also no shades on the East facing window in the master bedroom so light streamed in at sunrise.

Everything was as described. Due to the frigid March winds, it was quite chilly. The host responded immediately to my inquiry about the heat and could turn it up remotely. That was great! And he dropped off two comforters. The windows upstairs were a bit drafty. But overall, everything was great.

Eileen has a beautiful spacious home for those who want to get away from hustle bustle and noise. Every room is neat and tidy and furnished beautifully. There are plenty of kitchenware to use if you’re dining in at the BnB during mealtimes. She also supplies tons of entertainment from movies/retro games/board games to entertain for hours on end! When it comes to sleep or naps every there are multiple comfortable beds with plenty of extra pillows and blankets for extra warmth and comfort! I can’t recommend her and her property enough for anyone staying in the Oneonta area!

Had an amazing time staying at the property! The views are breathtaking and space is something you have to see for yourself! We had a small wedding of 50 people and amos accommodated us completely! We will never forget our stay! I would give this a 1 million star if I could!!

Brian and Brandon are fantastic hosts. We stayed 4 nights and felt at home. Great parking in the driveway for our 3 cars. Neighborhood is very quiet...you can even hear Cohoes Falls at night...5 minute walk to the overlook park. House was very clean with all the amenities we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect house for family/friends to stay for Memorial Day Wknd wedding of our daughter. We had 10 adults-plenty room to spread out/relax/chat/get ready for events. 4 bathrooms meant everyone had access as needed (only 2 had showers/tubs-but we easily negotiated who bathed/showered/when). Large well-equipped kitchen w/plenty seating, so easy to prepare/eat brkfasts/snacks. Elec. fireplace in living room atmospheric at night. TV options allowed people/ catch up on their Netflix show. Plenty toys/games when nephews visited, plus house well-equipped for children actually staying (ours didn't). Lovely backyard with nice deck, playset & (unheated) pool, but it was raining off and on, so we didn't use much. Very comfortable Master suite. Nice Jacuzzi tub for soak, but jets weren't working. Neither of the twin beds were great for an older adult. Keypad easy to use to enter/leave house, but confusing to lock from inside. Thermostat confusing, too. Further written instructions will solve. Thx!

Perfect stay for SUNY Oswego graduation weekend! Mike and Kelly’s home was clean, comfortable, and had great space for our family. We especially loved the game room and the lake views. Highly recommend for families visiting the university!

an exceptionally well equipped, airy, and light filled 1 bedroom well situated away from traffic noise in the cute North Winton neighborhood of Rochester. upstairs loft is not noise isolated from kitchen/living room, but sofa is nonetheless quite comfortable as an additional bed. host very helpful and responsive. very, very highly recommended. definitely 10/10.

We had the best stay at Katelyn’s home and the location of this Airbnb TRULY cannot be beat!! We could not have asked for a better location, better amenities, check in/out experience, and communication with the host. Every touch was so thoughtful - we so appreciate the step stool in the bathroom for our toddler! Highly recommend!!

Always a pleasure staying. We have stayed here multiple times and will likely continue to choose to stay here during our future stays. Nelson is a great host and the house is always clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect to walk and grab some food down the street. We really like the design of the home and the overall layout was perfect. A very nice overall feel and vibe to the place. The host were helpful but not ever intrusive.

Nice 2 bedroom apartment in a quite street. Quaint and helped us out as everything else was sold out for graduation weekend / Memorial Day. 40 ish minute drive to Ithaca and 20 ish minutes to Corning

This is a beautiful area with a lot to do and see. Lily was very helpful and friendly, she called and gave me helpful information about finding the location, checking in, and parking. She gave me some good recommendations for restaurants and things to do, too.

This unit is in a great location, close to the main street in Lake Placid. The photos accurately show the unit. The living room furniture is quite comfortable.

We had a great one-night stay at Chay's place! Everything was very clean and tidy. Check-in was easy and the location was perfect for all the historical sites we came to visit. Chay was very kind to recommend some restaurants when we inquired. We felt perfectly at home there and knew that if we needed anything Chay would respond quickly. Thank you for providing us with a home away from home!

Pristine clean, cozy, one bedroom condo unit located in Windham with seasonal access to tennis courts and a pool. Walking distance to the beautiful Windham Path. Slept better than at home in the comfy bed. Went for two days of midweek remote work. Agnieszka, the host, was gracious and responsive. The host obviously put some genuine TLC into this place and it shows. Browsed for books at Briars & Brambles, an indie bookstore in Windham adjacent to Windham Pharmacy. Purchased groceries and firewood down the road at Hickory Hill Market . Ate in area at Higher Grounds and Windham Diner. Living room has a fireplace with large screen TV just above. Luiza was a wonderful host. She provided detailed check in and out instructions, as well as local recommendations for our stay. Her place was exactly as pictured and cleaned wonderfully for our arrival. We hope to be back for another ski trip!

Nicest bnb we have stayed at in placid! We had the grounds to ourselves and enjoyed sitting by the lake the first night before it rained the rest of the weekend. The place was cozy and the fireplace was nice for the rainy days. I appreciated the snacks and drinks in the room too!

Amazing place just as advertised. Less then 10 minutes from anything you will need. With some amazing trails nearby.

This space is truly a great find in great neighborhood near the University of Rochester. We had booked this property for 4 months through the winter. Having use of the garage was a great bonus. No scraping! Neighborhood is very walkable and several good restaurants are nearby. Elizabeth was an excellent host. She was very communicative and accommodating. You can't go wrong booking this lovely property.

Great experience, loved cross country skiing so conveniently located out the door.
