Beach house vacation rentals in Cambridge

Our family and some of our extended family rented out this house during the Boston Marathon. It was a beautiful place to stay that was peaceful and quiet. We also enjoyed the local restaurants that were a short drive from the house. The house itself was very clean and as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking ware to make meals there. The host provided several great sand toys, chairs & beach towels for our family to use. The host was very responsive when I asked questions prior to our trip as well as during our stay. She went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. I would for sure stay again!

We had a great weekend in Boston with friends. The house was convenient to T and made it easy to get downtown. Plenty of sleeping space for our group of 7. Thank you for the coffee set up and the bottled water

Great location, peaceful, quiet and safe. We had short family vacation there and everyone was accommodated and we have great time. Jerry gave us recommendations for local restaurants with excellent seafood. Totally recommended

Our family stayed at this Airbnb for my son’s wedding. The house was in a beautiful location. The pictures accurately portrayed the space. The house was large, clean, with a spectacular view of the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking items. The beds were very comfortable and all linens were clean. Nice outside space on the deck with plenty of chairs to relax and a covered area with a table. Sue was a very pleasant host and responded in a timely manner when I had a question. Check in was seamless. Would highly recommend this Airbnb and hope to get back in the future.

Diana prepared us for our stay by messaging us details before our arrival and equipped us with more than we needed for our stay! All appliances, bedding, and furniture is in pristine condition! Check in and check out instructions were easy to follow! Diana is improving her space by adding a side patio! We felt like we were at home the whole time. Parking was easy and spacious as well! We were invited to visit again! Thanks Diana for having us!!

The property was stunning and impeccably clean, matching the description perfectly. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the convenient location with a trail to see horses and access to the lake. The host was incredibly accommodating, and we are looking forward to returning with our family. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide garage access to the house for elderly guests who may have difficulty with stairs, as the pathway, although beautiful, was quite lengthy for my elderly parents. Nonetheless, we all had a fantastic time. Thank you.

The home is beautiful! The view and neighborhood are amazing! We felt like we were in a movie. It was peaceful and quiet and had things to do to enjoy a nice evening. Definitely will be back!

Probably the most enchanting and creative place I’ve ever stayed! Bright, clean and colorful! Brenna and Kyle were friendly, helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time staying here. It was raining our entire stay but the closed in porch area allowed us to still feel like we were on vacation and enjoy the view of the harbor.

Beautiful and quaint New England house with great antique decor (we loved the framed french cafe menus). Mary and Dana were both super attentive and responsive; they clearly care about the home. They gave us great recommendations for things to see and do in Manchester and the surrounding areas (I recommend Singing Beach!!) I didn't think we'd use the elevator at all but it was handy for bringing our luggage up and down. The bed was super comfy. We loved sitting by the pool in the afternoon! We'd gladly stay here again if circumstances bring us back to Manchester-by-the-Sea.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!

This wasn't our first time staying at the John Edwards house, and it won't be the last. The location is perfect. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The house was clean, well stocked, and had been updated since last time we stayed. We cooked multiple meals in the house, and found that the kitchen had pretty much everything we could have wanted. The fridge was big and clean, which was helpful since we brought a ton of food. The owners were quite helpful and even came over to bring some extra supplies. I would highly recommend anyone to rent this house if you have a decent sized crew, and would like the charm of an old New England house.

We had a fantastic stay at this Boston townhome! The location for our small group was perfect—just a quick 5-minute Uber or Lyft ride to the Seaport and walking distance to several great restaurants. The place was exactly as advertised: clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Shelby was proactive and helpful throughout the stay, which made everything smooth and easy. We feel like we lucked out and found a gem for our weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The place was clean, convenient, and had great vibes. Communication was excellent, and the location was perfect. We’d love to come back! It would be even better with amenities like a hot tub and grill. The patio was a bit unclean, so we couldn’t really use it. Looking forward to visiting again!

We are locals from the area who were staying in town with out of state guests while our house was being renovated. We already love Marblehead and this place made us love it even more. It is so well appointed and the nautical theme is so quintessential Marblehead and homey. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the house was so quiet given it is on a fairly busy street. It has everything you could need for a cozy and peaceful stay and the hosts are such accommodating people who succeed in making guests feel at home. This was the best staycation and we’d love to come back sometime. HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone who wants a centrally located home right near the beach!! We had an absolutely incredible stay in South Boston and it was made even better thanks to our Airbnb. The hosts were so helpful and knowledgeable of the area and provided great recommendations. I’d suggest booking this home to any group that wants the full South Boston experience.
