Lake house vacation rentals in Brookville

The house was big, clean and as advertised. Gary and Tangi were great hosts and they were very responsive and provided all of the information necessary for us to have an enjoyable stay. We didn't get to take advantage of the lake and beach but it was a really cool feature of the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow what an incredible home filled with rich history! The Manor was so spacious and had all the touches of the original property but also completely updated with modern luxuries. The outdoor space was even nicer than the pictures. It was such a beautifully landscaped area with an incredible fire pit. The kiddos played outdoor games while we sat out on the back patio enjoying the weather. The pet area was perfect for our large dog Jake. They thought of everything! The bedrooms were way more spacious than expected and we were so happy to find some roll away beds after we discovered our blow up mattress had a hole in it. We were also graciously given an early check in so we could drop our dog off before heading to meet our group in the city. The kitchen had everything you might need for food prep. The downstairs bathroom had a jacuzzi tub for relaxing after a long day at the museums. Plenty of towels etc. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home! It was such a delightful stay!

Amanda and Elyssa’s place is beautiful! A very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Great location for exploring the local attractions. The best part was coming back to hang out and fish at the pond. Being from AZ, we all loved being right next to water! The house was spacious enough for our family of 5 and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hope to be back someday!

The home was warm, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was spotless upon arrival and thoughtfully arranged—clearly set up with care and attention to detail. Bobbi was incredibly kind and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, even leaving a few special touches that made my grand babies smile. Communication was smooth, and she was always quick to respond to any questions. The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, with easy access to a beautiful view, with fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and a relaxing around the fire with family. We made great memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing family-friendly stay

We had a great time! Private fishing pond, if you are wanting a nature getaway this is your place. Very secluded, big yard, fire pit, was a very relaxing weekend! The hosts are very responsive. All around a wonderful stay.

This place was great! Exactly as described! The hosts were phenomenal. Very responsive to anything we needed. Tons of space inside, shower was bigger than we expected. The hot water lasted longer than we expected and 6 of us could shower every morning without ever running out. That was lovely! We wanted something unique, yet affordable for spring break with our family of 9. And this provided just that. We even found a geo cache on site just down the road. A few things to note, if you’re bringing kids. There are broken buildings in the surrounding area which means there’s lots of broken glass. Our immediate housing was clear though. Made for interesting exploration. There’s very little natural light which is great for sleeping. Not so great if you lose power. We had intense storms come through the area and lost power for almost 24 hours, but our hosts scrambled to help as much as they could. Even offered to refund our last night. Brought flash lights, and kept checking in. GREAT HOSTS

This home is a hidden gem and ABSOLUTELY beautiful, clean and very spacious too. We stayed here the night before graduation at Miami of OH which was 50 min away. We just wish we had more time to spend on the property but soaking in the hot tub was a bonus to decompress after packing up our college kid’s apartment! Just a note…Depending on your phone carrier you might not have service - so if interested in that, be sure to note the WiFi password that is shared with you before you get there - that’s a mistake I made. But every time I reached out to Susan with questions, she was quick to respond and very helpful. If another opportunity came up, we would definitely stay again!

Emily’s place was great! Came to Kentucky for a Derby Weekend bachelor party and it was the perfect location. The place had a basketball court and hot tub, and was quietly tucked away from the city. The property is situated on a pond and we even got to see eagles go fishing!

We stayed here for my daughter’s college graduation about 30 minutes away. It was just what we needs for eight of us. Plenty of seating for all of us to enjoy meals and the kitchen was clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and organized and the stocked linen closet was very appreciated. When we arrived, Peter called to let us know he was notified that the batteries were low in the lockbox and he didn’t want us to have an issue during the weekend so he sent his son to change them. We were grateful to have this perfect home to celebrate our daughter!

Abby’s Airbnb was a extremely beautiful and cozy home, it was beyond perfect for a few of us working in the area. It might be a little farther from shopping and things but the peacefulness of the location and the gigantic space lends for a amazing stay, especially if you want to “get away”. It’s a fisherman’s dream off the river, huge kitchen for cooking for an army, and a great TV for movie night! Everyone loved the location! Abby was very accommodating and is a great host! Will save it for future trips in the area.
