Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bergen County

Great stay at Carl's place. The location is wonderful and the house is stacked with amenities. We were a party of 7 and everyone was comfortable during their stay. Only issue I will highlight is that the living area and one of the rooms need blinds/curtains for privacy reasons as well as sunlight waking you up in the morning. Overall great stay and wont hesitate coming here again.

10/10, best rental! The house felt like a hotel - it was immaculately clean with beautiful decor and in an ideal location. They put a lot of thought into it, there were so many little things we weren't expecting from an Airbnb that made this one top notch. We appreciated the fluffy clean towels and toiletries they provided. They had a whole section of baby items stored neatly in the garage and we used the baby monitor to keep an eye on the kiddos during the night. We really enjoyed the kayaks with life jackets in adult and kid sizes. They even thought to provide things like waterproof cell phone cases to take on the kayaks! They also had a small cooler, tons of beach chairs and lawn games. The location of the house is great, there's a little beach around the corner and 1 min drive into a part of town with some nice restaurants. We took a recommendation from the house's Insta-page and went on an easy hike on the boardwalk section of the Appalachian trail! It was a great time!

Marie’s place is officially our family’s favorite Airbnb now! It’s spotless clean. It has everything you need in the house. It’s very cozy and we all slept so well. She also put a lot of effort to furnish the house with beautiful decorations and high end furnitures/ linens. Even the shampoo and moisturizers provided are lake life themed! I literally fell asleep so easy when I relaxed on the couches. The lake is peaceful and beautiful. My boys spent most of their time fishing with my husband. It’s easy for my boys to connect their iPad on the tv as well when we get inside. Marie is always so sweet and go above and beyond to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible. It was such a pleasure meeting her in person as she spend her weekend right next door to us. I couldn’t be more touched as she offered our family to stay til later on the day of checkout. Thank you Marie! We will definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful holiday weekend at the lake house. The views and outdoor space are breathtaking. It is so wonderful for adults and kids. The house looks just like the photos, it was comfortable and clean. Owners are responsive, kind and always gave us suggestions on what to do each day in the area. We highly recommended staying here and would gladly stay again!

Mixing business with pleasure, we prefer to stay in an Airbnb versus hotel. Jack’s place offered us the home away from home we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable and the home was nice and clean. After a days work, we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Looking forward to the next trip.

From booking through check out, Maureen was pleasant, communicated promptly and clearly, and had the house perfectly dialed in to accommodate our family. The house is situated on a large, beautiful lakefront lot with spectacular views, and outfitted for families and friends to have an amazingly fun experience, regardless of weather or time of year. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, or a lively time with friends, this place will not disappoint!

We had a wonderful stay at Benjamin's lake house. The views are incredible, and the house comes with life vests and a peddle boat, 2 kayaks and a SUP board so you can easily take advantage of the lake! The house is one of the most well stocked houses I've ever stayed at, and is very family friendly - there are lots of toys for kids, and has a pack and play, sleeping mat, and high chair, and kids utensils. Benjamin's communication was extremely quick and he was always very helpful and responsive. We'd definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and two dogs. Cottage was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the lake with a nice patio and access to the dock which we enjoyed. Also great location just a bit over an hour from the city but within a 15 minute drive to many great hikes and close to many great food options. Tony was also very responsive and helpful with recommendarions. Highly recommend.

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

This was my first time using airbnb and this stay exceeded all my expectations! The cabin was gorgeous the pictures do not do it justice!! The views were beautiful and there is so much to do near by with many trails! We had gone on some trails, did some shopping, and went to many of the winery’s and eateries that Kamil has listed in his hosts guidebook!!

We enjoyed our long weekend at the lake house. Great views of the lake and the home is well equipped with lots of board games, TVs, a projector, great sound system, dart board, foosball and more. We were in the dead of the winter and can imagine how its even more fun in the summer when you can grab the boats and head out onto the lake.

We had a lovely stay at Cynthia’s serene cabin on the lake. The view is beautiful and this home is very well decorated with comfort in mind. We enjoyed the private backyard and dock as a family and we would love to return. She is very communicative and a fantastic host.

The cabin is lovely and has everything you might need. We visited in late November and though the weather outside was frightful the cabin was warm and delightful. We especially enjoyed the window seat, the Newyorker Magazine Cartoon Book and the camp style plates and bowls. A cold dip in the lake was a special treat!

We have a great time. Perfect place for group. Enjoyed a lake view, kayaking , etc
