Everything about our stay was wonderful! The host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, providing fantastic recommendations for local spots and even checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The location was ideal, close to all the attractions yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful retreat. The amenities were top-notch—comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and little touches like fresh coffee and cozy blankets that made the space so inviting. I genuinely felt like I was staying in a home away from home. Highly recommend!!

What a beautiful, elegant, turn-of-the century retreat. Gorgeous, comfortable and luxurious and just two blocks from Staunton’s historic district. We walked back and forth, enjoying all the shops and restaurants and took in a performance at the Black Friar’s Playhouse. We loved our stay there and will be back.

Our daughter was graduating from UVA Law School a year from when we went to try to book a property. We were shocked to find that nearly everything in Charlottesville was already booked. We were having immediate & extended family come and needed a bigger place - one that slept 10-14 people. We came across this property in Nellysford and went ahead and booked it ... again, 1 year in advance. Besides it being a little far from Charlottesville / UVA (about 40 minutes), the property was absolutely PERFECT. It was large, very open, lots of beds, sitting areas, etc. I got lots and lots of compliments from our guests on the home. The home was close to a number of wineries and other local interests. The property manager, Elise, was wonderful. Very responsive to any/all messages. I would 100% stay in the home again. Lovely!

If you're looking for a nice, clean getaway for some R&R this is the place. Accommodations are immaculate with lots to do on the property. Game room, board games, outdoor games and quiet sitting room. Plenty of room and all the amenities you may need.

We stayed here when our oldest graduated from law school. It was a great place for our family to celebrate her accomplishment together. The place was beautiful and our evening walk was one of our favorite memories. The only downside was our elderly mother (83 years old) had some issues getting up the stairs to the house. So if you have mobility challenged people in your family, you will need to be prepared to help them.

Loved the place and Shilpa was an amazing communicator! Super flexible and responsive and the house had everything we needed and more. The hot tub, sauna, and igloo were absolutely amazing after a long day of climbing and our 15-friend women’s trip was an absolute BLAST! Can’t wait for next year!!

This was an ideal home for our family. Wake up and make a great breakfast in the stocked kitchen. Head out for a morning hike on one of the many great trails right around the corner. Then off for a day trip to Monticello or Staunton, and finish up in the hot tub. What's not to like!? Chris was very responsive to all our needs and put together a great welcome package to introduce us to the area. Hope to stay again!

Jennifer and Katie bent over backwards to make our stay a dream. The home and its surroundings are everything you could want out of a mountain stay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, the bathrooms are clean, and anything you need help with the hosts are there for you. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous home in a beautiful backdrop. Our crew was really spoiled here as the house had all the amenities you could ever want or need. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom clean and tidy. We traveled to nearby places however could have totally stayed at the house during our visit and been perfectly content. Paul and Lorraine were terrific hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We hope to make a return trip to Wintergreen and have a chance to stay here again.

Our stay at Teresa's was fabulous. Lots of coffee to get us started in the mornings to snacks for later on. The beds were very comfortable, the furnishings spot on, the parking easy and the water pressure was great. They also have the world's quietest dog- we only heard the pitter patter of feet once, and no barking. Our only regret was not getting to meet their dog, Gracie. Highly recommend, and we can't wait to go back!

Stayed here for a weekend getaway and loved every minute. Beautiful location, comfy beds, excellent bathtub. Make sure to spend some time sitting on the covered porch off the living room.

The unit we stayed in was amazing. There were so many windows leading to incredible views. We had an amazing time, resting and recuperating. I imagine it is much busier during peak seasons, but in April, it was quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfy. We will be back.

Great place to stay in the heart of the resort! We did not realize when booking that we’d be staying in the main lodge, but parking & access was easy and it was very quiet and relaxing. The best part was being so close to all of the restaurants and skiing!

Fantastic stay - one of our very favorites so far at Wintergreen! This was a perfect layout for our group (we had two families) and was a fantastic location near the hiking path from the Nature Center. It was very clean and updated!

This was a great place in a very good location. The only ding I could give it is the main bed was a bit worn and the bed frame noisy but, once you’ve skied all day, you’re so tired out it didn’t matter too much. We would stay here again.
