Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Yancey County

This spot was so peaceful and relaxing! Waking up to the beautiful views and birds chirping was unmatched. Inside was cozy and clean. An amazing place to unwind.

Catherine's home was cozy and had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It was spacious and clean and had a large hot tub. Perfect place for a family get-together or small gathering. Thanks for having us!

Camille’s place was very clean and a comfortable stay for our group for a wedding weekend. The address is not available on Apple or Google maps, but we were able to find a neighborhood road and use the directions from the host for the rest of the trip (Host provided great instructions!). Would recommend finding the house during the daylight!

We loved staying at the Burley Stick Farm House. It was a perfect home base for exploring the local area for some first time visitors to the region. It was super close in proximity to the venue of the wedding we attended. We loved observing the wildlife - turkeys and cicadas - and felt very welcomed and at home. The house is super cute and comfortable - perfect and exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway.

Our family of the generations were very happy here! The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is ample and the water pressure is sweet! We needed only our groceries (and a cheese grater). The fireplace, hammock and creek are so quaint and lovely. Our only complaint was that the wifi was spotty and only supported 3 devices at a time. We made the best of it with our games. Playing cards would be a nice addition. Closing the home instructions were simple. Returning to this place is expected by all and we'll stay longer for even more family time!

We came in town for a high school graduation and this place was just perfect. The views were amazing!!!!

We had a great stay at Rodney’s place! It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The patio was peaceful and lovely for relaxing. Rodney and Dulcy greeted us and we felt they were available if we needed help. We attended a wedding nearby and the location was great for exploring Asheville.

Amy’s place was incredibly well kept and easy to access— she had waters set out for us upon arrival alongside addition bathroom amenities too. We met her briefly in passing along side her two dogs and she was very sweet! It was also super easy to access hiking trails at Grandfather Mountain from it! We would absolutely stay here again!

Warren has a lovely home in the mountains. The property was very quiet and surrounded by nature. I especially loved sitting outside at night watching the fireflies, the stars and smelling the sweet scent of nearby flowers. The bed was comfortable and the unit had everything needed to make meals.

It was a memorable stay at Mountain Mama’s Place. So grateful for Cindi’s hospitality, she truly put a lot of Love into preparing her home for guests to make it their home away from home ❤️

This home is in a beautiful location in west Asheville. We could walk to a lot of restaurants and music venues or drive easily to nature and the Arts district. The hot tub was always ready for us any time we wanted to take a dip. Mike was an incredibly kind and communicative host. He let us check in an hour early because the place was ready. He also shipped something my wife forgot back to us. I strongly recommend this listing and him as a host!

Angela’s place was everything we hoped for and more. It was spotless, tastefully decorated, and felt incredibly warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, with fresh, cozy linens, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. One of the highlights for us was the patio with its table and chairs overlooking a peaceful view of trees and a nearby trail. We loved starting our mornings there, sipping coffee, listening to chirping of the birds and flipping through one of the thoughtfully placed books inside. Our stay was truly unforgettable. The location was also ideal—just about 20 minutes from the airport and close to local attractions. Thank you, Angela, for providing such a lovely and memorable home away from home!

Mary Ann's place was fantastic! We stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Communication was excellent. We enjoyed the wonderful views from the swing. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor. We highly recommend a stay with Mary Ann!

We had a wonderful week at Dan’s! Perfect place if you’re looking for simple, quiet time away from everything. Dan is a wonderful person, super available to chat, generous and kind, but also happy to give us privacy. Be sure to pick up groceries on your way there as there is nowhere to shop nor restaurants to eat in nearby. A very nice and unusual touch is that there were a few staples left in the kitchen like spices, ketchup, tea etc. Much appreciated!

If you are looking for an Appalachian getaway I highly recommend this spot in every way! The water and rocks are right outside running downstream.. one of the most relaxing and wonderful areas to hang out and explore. The cabin was so cozy with the sounds of the stream outside, hosts were responsive and the place was easy to understand.

We would 1000% stay again! We barely left the home because the views and the comforts were perfect for a vacation. They have every amenity you could ever ask for. There were appliances in the kitchen that we never used but we were impressed by alll of the options. The beds are comfortable and it’s easy to feel at home. As for the driveway- it is quite steep and looks intimidating but people that have experience driving on mountain roads will be totally fine! I made it with my Honda Accord. Book your stay, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was well equipped. Edward was responsive. I would recommend.

David was great! Extremely responsive to address my concerns, and took quick action to resolve them. Pet friendly which we really liked. The house setting is amazing and private. We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to be back.

My friends and I enjoyed a much needed relaxing evening at Angela’s cabin. It is a beautiful home on equally beautiful land. It was so peaceful. We got to hear the cicadas too! My dogs loved running around and exploring as well. I definitely recommend Angela’s cabin for a relaxing time by the creek!

Lisa’s place was a fantastic winter escape. The views of the Roan Highlands from throughout the home were amazing. Even on the coldest nights, the 2 sided fireplace kept the home more than warm enough. We’re already looking forward to returning next year.
