A Luxury Treehouse Experience | Wood-Fired Cedar Hot Tub
General Description Imagine waking up high in the treetops to the peaceful sounds of singing birds and whistling winds as you take in panoramic views of nature and running water. The Treehouse @ Whitetail & Pine was designed in collaboration with Nelson Treehouses of Treehouse Masters and is nestled between two ~175 year old red oak trees. Secluded on 13 acres and suspended 25 feet above the flowing waters of Goose Creek, this is a one-of-a-kind retreat where luxury meets nature, inspiring pure relaxation. * 10 minutes from the University of Arkansas * 15 minutes from the Fayetteville square * 30 minutes from the Walmart Amp Music Venue * 30 minutes from Devils Den State Park * 40 minutes from the Bentonville square Please read the full property description and the “things to note” section below before booking your stay! The Space Constructed nearly entirely of Western Red Cedar, the refreshing scent of cedar follows you practically everywhere you go. Whether you are walking up the 35’ long bridge to the front door, relaxing on the massive 700 square foot wrap around deck or kicking your feet up anywhere inside the treehouse, the aroma of cedar will be in the air. As you walk in the front door expect to be taken aback by the glass wall framing expansive views of the treetops, nature trails, and rippling creek waters. By simply sliding the glass doors you can open the treehouse to the outside allowing you to experience the sounds, scents and peace that nature offers from anywhere inside. Rounding your way up the cedar treads of the spiral staircase to the loft offers even better views, as you will find yourself surrounded by windows that provide a birds eye view in every direction. Every room of the treehouse is thoughtfully constructed to inspire rest and relaxation, from the heated floors and live plants to the enormous Japanese soaking tub and 12’ high rain shower. The LIVING SPACEfeatures an 8’ live fig tree, acacia wood floors, a Norwegian Jotul wood-fired stove and a cozy furniture setup that will stir up the desire to relax. If you are looking to cook up a gourmet meal or simply have a cup java, the kitchen area is outfitted with Thor appliances, Smithey Ironware, Folded Steel knives and fresh Onyx coffee beans ready for grinding. We purposefully left a TV out of the design to encourage guests to escape the noise of real life and embrace the tranquility of nature. However, if you would like a TV to watch the “big game” or a movie with your special someone there will be one waiting for you upon your arrival. The BATHROOMis like nothing you’ve ever experienced. The entire space is considered a “wet room” so the thought of water falling from the rain shower and splashing onto the heated slate flooring is of no concern. If you would prefer a bath instead of a shower, fill up the 80 gallon Japanese soaking tub with steaming water, kick back and take in the calming view through the 4' x 4' picture window. The LOFTboasts a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress that will cause your burdens to melt away as you slip between the 600 thread-count Comphy Brand sheets. If you’re not quite ready for bed, consider snuggling up and taking a nap or reading a book on the hammock net that features a 4’ cedar encased circle window overlooking Goose Creek and floats 12’ above the living space below. While the treehouse itself is a special place and a true work of art, the most magical aspect of Whitetail & Pine can be found OUTDOORSwhere your options for entertainment and relaxation are practically endless. Take a stroll on the creekside trail and watch the squirrels bounce from tree to tree as you make your way to one of the fire pit areas. Once you settle in, roast up a gooey s’more and enjoy a cocktail while by the dancing flames of a crackling fire. If you are feeling a little less ambitious just hop into one of the hammocks or hammock swings sporadically placed throughout the property and catch a few uninterrupted ZZZ’s. As evening approaches, settle into the wood-fired cedar hot tub perched high above Goose Creek to enjoy the sight of grazing deer and prepare to soak in the beauty of a starlit sky. Guest Access Whitetail & Pine is the place that our family calls home. We live in an old farm house, built in 1897, that sits about 1/4 mile from the treehouse. Guests will enter the property via our white gravel driveway, then turn left down a tree-lined drive that leads to the treehouse. Each guest will be provided a 4-digit access code that will unlock the front door and a magical experience. Things to Note: PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING A STAY! It is our intent and hope that your treehouse experience at Whitetail & Pine exceeds your expectations! In an effort to set a reasonable expectation up front, please note the important details and house rules listed below: Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the treehouse platform. While the treehouse is situated on 13 acres and is surrounded by trees, please note that Whitetail & Pine is located in the city limits, which is why we are so close to all of the cool stuff. There is a housing development that boarders one side of our property, yet the only house that is visible from the entrance of the treehouse is ~300 feet from the treehouse entrance. Since purchasing the property in 2020 we have planted ~400 trees and plan to plant at least 100 more in an effort to create a 13 acre forest in the city. Until the trees mature you will hear some road noise when sitting on the back deck, which is ~275 feet from Double Springs Road. The creek that flows beneath the back deck provides consistent white noise that drowns out most of the traffic. During the Spring, Summer and early Fall months when the trees are full (May 1 - Oct 31) the treehouse is completely hidden from view of the road, as it is surrounded by trees. However, during the late fall and winter months (Nov 1 - Apr 30) the treehouse is partially visible from the road, yet passing cars will not have a clear view since the structure is elevated and the road is a few hundred feet away.
