Check out the craze of tiny house living in this quaint cabin for two. A tiny kitchen. Nature Nook has a deck over-looking a marsh where you can observe many species of water fowl. You can also sit in the living room surrounded by trees.
“Lola is a great host and offers to help with any need! She really cares that her guests are enjoying their time and are comfortable. The cottage is quaint and whimsical and nestled in a nice spot on Lola’s property. The space is impeccably clean and has just about every necessity you could possibly need. My husband and I cooked all of our meals and brought food and a camping grill which worked great. If you plan to cook all your own food, I recommend bringing some of your essentials just in case. However, Lola is willing to help you with whatever you need. The mosquitos were out and I would recommend visitors bring repellent if you visit during the summer buggy months. The property is gorgeous and even though you are near a road, you feel tucked away in a private slice of paradise. The lake had too much bloom at the time of our visit but was beautiful and had some nice trails to walk. Overall, we would be delighted to visit again!”
Evergreen Retreat is a fully furnished apartment located on our 20 acre homestead. The rental has its own entrance and private wrap around porch (screened in) that overlooks the huge pine forest in front of you. Help yourself to farm fresh organic eggs from our 10 chickens and pet and feed our 3 goats, Pumpkin, Andy and Albert. We do live on the property in our own unit below. We do allow dogs, but please inquire about bringing them when you book.
“We were looking for a nature getaway and this AirBnB was perfect! The property is very kid-friendly. The kid loved visiting the goats, collecting eggs, using the tree swing and trampoline, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and digging in the sand area on the property. Within a 30 minute drive, you can get to many lakes that have small beaches where you can swim (or use the boat launches, if you have a boat). John Muir County Park had a really pretty prairie walk. The Dells are also not far. We cooked every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Jen was a very kind and thoughtful host, and an excellent communicator. We had a very relaxing getaway!”
A tranquil retreat that only nature can provide. Rest, relax take long walks and rejuvenate your spirit.
“I absolutely adored this cabin. It’s way out in the woods which is what I was looking for. Very private. Richard and Linda were very kind and helpful. Some have mentioned that there is no cell service, but I was able to get some. It wasn’t perfect, but I was able to text and call. The paths throughout the property were awesome. My two dogs had a fantastic time! I plan on returning during late Fall or maybe Winter. I bet it would be absolutely beautiful. One thing to mention if you are planning on visiting the State Parks. They are not selling the park stickers at the parks due to Covid-19 . You need to purchase online before your visit. They will ticket you if you don’t have one.”
