This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

At elevation 9,300, enjoy a wide, jaw-dropping view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The wind sings through the pines and wildlife abounds. No mosquitos, just hummingbirds! We provide lots of info about fun places within striking distance. In the fully outfitted cabin are Old West music and radio show albums, and games, puzzles, and books - many of those with a Western theme like much of decor. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest.
