Great space for the whole family! Lawrence was easy to communicate with and the views are amazing. Close to town with lots of great food!

This place is magical. It has a panoramic view of the lake, and wildlife galore. We watched two Canada geese families just feet from the windows, and duck parents with their ducklings shared the yard with the geese, deer, and a bunny. The home is spacious and nicely decorated. I did a lot of cooking while there, and I found all utensils I needed. Thanks, Michelle, for keeping pantry items left by previous guests! Our 4 day stay was delightful in this tranquil setting, and we would love to return.

Beautiful spot by the lake! Everything was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully set up. Steve was a responsive and considerate host throughout. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a scenic, comfortable retreat.

Jeff’s was great! We were there to celebrate an intimate wedding and just get away from our busy lives for a weekend. The property was large and our Bella (dog) enjoyed running and swimming! Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of fans to keep you cool but we actually didn’t need them and it was 80+! Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, serene, and private location—perfect for a peaceful family getaway. The home was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, and our toddlers especially loved the toys. The space felt safe, comfortable, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Riverfront Retreat! Better than imagined! We had the most incredible stay at this peaceful riverfront property, it truly has everything you could ask for. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene beauty of the location. Waking up to the sound of the river and enjoying coffee on the deck each morning became our favorite routine. The house itself is beautifully appointed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The beds felt like sleeping on clouds, and there was more than enough room for everyone to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. One of the absolute highlights was the hot tub, the perfect way to end the day, soaking under the stars. The sauna was such a fun bonus and left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. And the fire pit? Absolutely perfect for cozy evenings, s’mores, and stargazing. It’s rare to find a place that gets every detail right, Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation or a mix of both this spot delivers. Can't wait to come back!

Well furnished house in a beautiful setting. Access to the dock and lake makes this a great vacation choice. Communication with owner was great. Owner is very respectful of guest privacy.

Home with a beautiful view of the water and, if you use the provided kayaks to go a couple hundred yards north, a view of the snowcapped mountains in the park as well. We saw a lot of wildlife from the kayaks. Good for stargazing when it's clear. If it had rained, the couches by the giant windows overlooking the canal would have been the perfect spot to settle in with a book and watch the rain. A great base to explore the area and recharge after, and roomy and comfortable for four adults. Jay was quick to respond to any question.

What a magical spot on Lake Sutherland, I couldn’t recommend a better place to get some good ole R&R. Bonnie was so helpful the whole way through! Just from booking our stay and giving great advice on hikes as well as a being so responsive when we had noticed an alarm going off and she had it handled in no time.

This was the perfect place for a long, relaxing weekend. We loved the outdoor patio area and enjoyed a wonderful time dining in view of the lake and mountains, and the home itself was so cozy. I was impressed at how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the murphy bed was SO comfortable! Shauna was a very proactive, friendly host, and even dropped off a propane tank before we realized we'd be needing one!

We had a wonderful get away Eagle Point Cottage. The view was incredible. They really thought of everything to make a fun, comfortable, relaxing, and safe getaway. We had an amazing time kayaking and got to see lots of wildlife. They even reached out to let us know about an opportunity for a possible Orca sighting (we didn’t see one but did enjoy all the seals and sea lions while kayaking). They also had lots of indoor activities for rainy days. Check out was easy. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return again in the future.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay with Lynna and Dennis. The cottage was just as described, just steps from the waterfront and we enjoyed the private beaches and daily kayaking excursions from the dock. What a peaceful, beautiful and relaxing spot. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.... but we will, next time. Lynna provided very helpful instructions ahead of time about the ferry and reservations. The cottages are both charming and fully-equipped, very clean and everything was as-written. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, both in Westsound (a few) and more options in Eastsound and beyond. I'd highly recommend, and we're already planning our next trip back.

Really enjoyed our stay at Christian's home. Very quiet and tucked away. The home was charming and came to life with the written family history shared with guests. Our family kayaked on lake and played games. Appreciated Christian's flexibility with check-in. Area isn't close to much and there is no TV, which was great for spending real slow-down quality time together. Next time we'll stay longer.

We loved our stay! The deep sea / blue theme was so welcoming, and the location right on the shore was beautiful. Lots of birds and eagles and cute animals on the property. I fell in love with Edgar the black cat! Margo and Sam are so kind and wonderful. Highly recommend for a single person, 2 close friends, or couple's getaway!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's quaint, characterful, cozy cottage. The location, property, and home were charming, with lovely, mature landscaping, fields of grass, water view framed by trees, and a private little beach. The antique furniture, lace curtains, and multiple vases of fresh-picked flowers and greenery all added romantic touches. The master bed was very comfortable and Jennifer kindly customized the bedding to accommodate our feather allergy. Although the property is a compound with other cottages, the setting was extremely private both indoors and out, on account of the large lot, separate access, and screening of mature trees. The wi-fi was weak, so perhaps not the ideal location for working, but perfect for a romantic getaway!

We had such a lovely time at Brenda’s home. The landscaping is beautiful- it’s so serene and the addition of the sauna was such a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything inside was just perfect- comfortable beds and everything we needed. Communicative and lovely. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had such an amazing, relaxing, and peaceful stay at this little cabin on the lake. Wayne and family were all wonderful and the pups made us feel right at home. If you like lake views out everywindow, cozy fires, sitting in the hot tub as you watch the sun set, and loving on some pups then this the spot for you. It's small. It's comfortable. It's got everything you need and the hosts are lovely. We loved this spot so much we just booked our next visit. See you guys soon!

We absolutely had a fantastic Memorial Weekend! 🇺🇸 This cute little cabin was exactly what my family needed to reset. We were able to swim, fish, kayak, hike and float around. Allison was very communicative and literally had absolutely everything that we could’ve needed and wanted for our stay. Thank you so much! ☺️

My wife and I booked this cabin for a quiet weekend getaway and it was perfect. From watching the sunrise each morning from the loft, to running into seals while kayaking, to watching the bald eagles and falcons fighting over fish each afternoon, we could not have asked for a better weekend. All the amenities, especially the pellet stove, give this cabin a cozy, relaxing feel for any occasion. The host also provided directions on how to get to some local landmarks, parks, and hiking trails. Overall, a great experience and definitely a home we would book again. PS- the Halfway House restaurant nearby has a sandwich called the crabby patty and it's incredible.

I hesitate to reveal how great Carl's place is because I don't want it to become so popular that it becomes hard for me to book. The setting is spectacular. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans everything you need. There are also basic staples that renters can use. If you don't like to cook, a lakeside restaurant is a short walk from Carl's. The restaurant is currently open Wed- Sun. We went on a couple of short hikes that were close by. Millersylvania Park is about a 15 min. drive. We also enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterfly Sculpture Garden. Lots of outdoor art and a fun area for kids (or adults) to play in. I had some questions for Carl and he always responded quickly and clearly. Carl and Sue make available everything that the renter might forget to bring: Toothbrushes, Q-tips, shampoo, etc. Did I mention the jar of chocolates? We are not fishing enthusiasts, but it looks like that could be fun. Carl also has kayaks & life vests.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful lake house for our anniversary and all I can say is WOW. The views were absolutely stunning and the amenities amazing! We loved soaking in the hot tub at night to the sound of frogs while it rained, or sitting by the fire pit on the deck overlooking the lake. Both were such peaceful experiences we’ll never forget. It’s in the perfect spot to visit Olympic National Park and go to the beach. The loft above was so fun to watch movies, play games and sleep in. Very kind and helpful owners as well. If we ever come back to the area, we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Lake Cavanaugh. We brought our 19ft aluminum boat to fish for a few days. The fish were active and tasted great. In our downtime we kayaked, paddle boarded, played games and scanned some of the interesting books. We appreciate the welcoming hospitality we received from Candace.

The homes was well equipped. We stayed at another home three days after leaving and found that home to be inadequately equipped. There was not one lamp in the house. There were minimal kitchen utensils, very few plates (we bought paper plates, lots of wasted space in the house (not a problem, but a strange home), no door on the M Bath (not good). Your house at the lake was fantastic. No TV and no internet, but that is good!!!! No phones ringing!! Great place! Thank you! David

Holly place is AMAZING! It is close to so many good hikes in Olympic National park. It is stocked with anything you could possibly need. It’s in the most beautiful location possible. Holly was extremely responsive and super nice. Loved it all together will for sure go back when I go to Olympic National park again!!
