This place is so unique! The house has meditation retreat feels with huge windows overlooking trees that make you feel like you’re deep in the forest. The small pond and cedar trees in the front are so different to the environment we were used to, and it was so nice to sit on the huge front porch during a rain shower, and listen. The hot tub was definitely a highlight of this place! It is covered, so you can relax rain or shine. As the other reviewers have mentioned, this place is decidedly in town, just in a little hollow that makes it feel secluded. We really appreciated the close proximity to downtown Fayetteville, and had a great time on our stay. Some of our favorite spots were the Little Bread Company, the used bookstore on Dickson, and the farmer’s market in downtown. This was our first trip to the area and we left loving Fayetteville!

Beautiful place. Was looking for a place to share with family and friends since camping plans were rained out. This place had a hot tub and an awesome enclosed patio so we were able to enjoy the outdoors even in rainy weather!

My family loved this place! The zip line was a lot of fun! It did rain during our stay so I was so thankful that this place had bored games, puzzles, and books to keep my little ones busy when we couldn’t explore outside! We can’t wait to go back!

This was the perfect place for us to stay for our daughter’s wedding at Sassafras Springs. The cabin is beautifully decorated, very clean and has pretty surroundings. Highly recommend!

This home was exactly that, it felt like home. Amazing sofas and chairs, the beds are comfortable. The air conditioning works fabulous. The water and showers are amazing. Book this place if you haven’t yet. It will be a true memorable stay.

You simply cannot ask for more in an Airbnb! Micheal has thought of everything, right down to the multitude of phone chargers around the house. The grounds are as well kept as the house. It’s so peaceful and serene. This was my second time staying and if I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely stay again.

We were visiting War Eagle and other craft and antique shows in the area. This home was located conveniently close by. When we arrived Tresia had a nice basket with some breakfast bar’s & muffin’s. We felt so welcomed.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and it was the PERFECT choice for us. We wanted a cozy place locally that we could revisit with our family one day, but was large enough to host all our wedding people day of. We made so many memories and had an amazing time!! Definitely can’t wait to book again 😊😊

Black River cabin was perfect for us! Clean, organized and friendly people!!! We were here for the Dogwood Festival and it was perfect for us to stay for a week! We will return!!!

We were extremely happy with this place. It will most definitely be on our return list as we go to Fayetteville for sporting events at least once a year. It is super easy to get to and quick 10 min to Fayetteville to the college. It was spotless and super comfy. Porch and nice grill (also spotless). The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy which is frequently not the case. You should definitely consider staying here if in the area

We loved our stay!! It was perfect! Very roomy, clean, and quiet. The area was private and quiet with lots of wildlife. The host was helpful and responsive. We had a little issue with a vehicle and ended up needing a later checkout time and he worked with us and was very helpful! Would definitely recommend!!

My family specifically chooses unique properties and sometimes they're not as amazing in person as older homes can have funky smells or mold. I was a wee bit concerned about this adorable cabin on the pond, but when we arrived the home was AMAZING!!!!! So much more beautiful in person than the photos showed! There is a literal green house! The "park" was a fairy land and so so soooo magical! My kids spent hours on the kayak going back and forth from the island to the cabin. It was so restful and peaceful! Magic was the only word to describe this house!!!!! We are in love with the property and want to return again!!! (the fishing from the deck was dynamite!)

Bobby's place was perfect for what I was looking for. Very clean, neat and homey. Would book there again there in the future.

This was our second time to stay at one of Connie’s cabins. Our family of six enjoyed the space so much. Loved the lofts. Connie is super helpful and friendly. Had everything we needed in the kitchen

Beautiful place to stay with a great view of the Boston mountains. Breakfast in the morning included, and very friendly staff make you feel at home

This was a beautiful cabin minutes outside of town but felt like a world away. The river view from the back patio was amazing. Each of the bedrooms had amazing views of the property and river as well. The cabin itself was very clean and well thought out. The kitchen was a chef's kitchen with anything and everything you could ever need to cook full meals. The personalized handwritten note at check in was a nice touch too. Overall, we will be back to stay here again!

Perfect for our family of four! Our 9- and 11-yo were ecstatic about the loft areas (Note, they are rather high… I probably wouldn’t have wanted this when they were younger). The old-school swivel swing in the kids’ play area was also a highlight. Close to hiking and off-roading trails. AWD SUV + trailer was manageable on the steep gravel driveways. Connie was kind and helpful. Surprisingly well-stocked kitchen for a small cabin. Everyone here gave it full stars!
