Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Walloon Lake

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Mary’s Airbnb. The place was spotless, super organized, and incredibly comfortable. The beds and sheets were perfect, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout the home that made our stay even better. Mary was also great with communication — responsive, clear, and friendly. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great time at Debra and Greg’s Traverse City house! It was very comfortable and kid friendly. I definitely recommend this place for families visiting the area. So easy to get out and walk around the neighborhood and go to shops!

Beautiful home and property! Heather was quick to respond to my questions. The kids loved the bunk room. Such a peaceful place to stay and not too far from the Cherry Cup soccer tournament. Highly recommend! Would come back again.

My group stayed in this house over Memorial Day weekend. The hosts were very accommodating to let us stay an extra night last minute, and the house was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We would easily stay at this house again!

The home was impeccably clean and well-equipped with excellent amenities. Its convenient location within walking distance to bars and restaurants added to the experience. The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Our family loved our stay at Bethany's place. Everything was exactly as described and match the pictures. There are so many cute features/amenities that our kids adored (ex. tree house, stream in back, play structure, hot tub and "secret doors!"). The home has so much historic charm, but Beth has all the modern amenities. The location is private and serene, but easily accessible to the lakefront and downtown. Bethany was very communicative prior to and throughout the stay and very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Traverse City.

This place was perfect! We were in town for a family wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Very clean and comfy and just a 10 second walk from shops, ice cream, and restaurants! Woulda definitely stay again! The homemade brownie mix was an extra special touch!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

I couldn't have been happier with my stay at Stacey's. there's so much care to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. the noise machines and individual rooms A/C was like a dream. I traveled with my older mother who isn't as able bodied as she use to be and I didn't have to worry about her falling in the shower or not being able to get on and off the furniture. this place was also so close to everything! if it has been into the warmer season it would have been perfect for a beach lover!

Quaint , the color thread throughout the two bedroom was very inviting. Very clean comfortable apartment. Centrally located, we walked to local shops. we are defiantly going to make this our go to apartment in northern Michigan!! Loved it

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

Great stay at Brenda's place, it was my girlfriend's birthday and she left some decorations as well as a hand written card! Very sweet, 10/10 recommend

The place has a great layout. Really easy to find, and getting in is super easy with the reserved parking spot right there. I enjoyed everything about this place.

Nice space, beautiful yard with fire pit around 40 mins away from traverse city. It was right next to a winery which was amazing and the place itself was cozy and peaceful. Mary left a treat for us when we got in which was really sweet. I recommend this place!

This was a great stay! Great location close to many restaurants and bars so it’s very easy to walk around. My only minor issue was parking. Staying there on a busy weekend meant no free parking by the unit. All of the spaces were taken up, as there are no assigned spots per unit. We ended up parking a street away in the residential neighborhood to avoid paying for the parking garage. Other than that, it was a great stay!

This is a great place for a family get together. It has plenty of space and amenities.

Had a wonderful time for a couple getaway at this cute and clean condo. The condo is in a great location for walking to downtown shopping and eating. We would book again. Lisa is a timely and efficient communicator which is always appreciated.

Nick's place was great. Super clean and cozy. Electric fireplace was great to have when coming in from the cold. Beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed. Would like to point out that for a person who needs a fan( other than a ceiling fan) to sleep, it was nice to see that each bedroom had a box/ oscillating fan in the closet. Might seem trivial...but it meant 2 great nights of sleep for me. 😁 . Location was great. Very close to downtown Boyne City. Cute lil up north town. 10-15 drive to Boyne Mountain. Also very easy and relatively close drive to Charlevoix and Petoskey. Great for a 1/2 day or day trip. Nick was responsive in a timely manner. All was very good. Would stay again for sure.

Great condo in a great location, would love to stay again

Great location, close and walkable to Front Street and lakefront. The unit faced the park across the street. It worked really well for the 6 of us. We will definitely recommend and stay on future visits.

Beautiful view of the bay. They should destroy the pool house - it's been too many years for it to still be standing after what happened. I was shocked to learn this is where I had booked. Outside of the horrific history - it's beautiful, but it haunted me the entire stay.
