Lovely little cabin, exactly what was advertised. The beach just across the road (not a busy road) is absolutely gorgeous. You can walk quite a ways out in the water on the beautiful sand beach. The sunsets, we were lucky with the weather and got a beautiful sunset every night. Not too far from Lake Superior provincial park, lots of hiking trails there. About a half hour from sault ate Marie if you want to spend the day in town. Great location. Robin was very friendly and helpful.

This peaceful Airbnb is comfortable and spacious. The King sized bed is comfortable and the jacuzzi is a nice amenity. I was able to cook three meals during the time we were there and found a complete kitchen with all the necessary implements. The location is perfect for taking a hike in Tahquamenon Falls State Park and visiting the Great Lakes Shipwreck museum. There is also a lovely walk to a nearby lake. We had a great time and look forward to another visit!

4 Seasons Rustic cottage with unbelievable sunsets

Joanna and Scott’s place was magical! Being right by the water, having sand by the back patio for the kids to play in, campfires, and the night sky. We even saw Northern Lights!! Scott made sure we had everything we need, and our stay did not disappoint! It was perfect for our three little boys as they had plenty of toys to play with and books to read. The beds were comfy, air conditioners worked well, and kitchen was well stocked to cook. An incredible experience and we’d love to be back if circumstances allow!

A cozy, comfortable, and well-stocked home. Not fancy but welcoming. However, the view is the selling point. Once you see it you won’t care that the house has colanders and yoga mats and q-tips (and practically anything else you might need) available. The view is amazing, and changes every hour of every day. You won’t want to go and “do stuff” and miss a moment! Sleeping is wonderful; there is quiet except for the lapping of the waves against the beach. Our hosts were quick to respond to messages, so we felt well supported. Only one drawback (or plus, depending on how you view it) — the house is miles from “civilization” and even a simple errand requires a long time investment. Our family convened from New York, Illinois, and Indiana and it was a nice place to relax and spend time together away from it all.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cottage! The beach was incredibly beautiful, calming and fun to walk on. The neighborhood was quiet and clean, and all the surrounding neighbors were very polite. The property itself is awesome! Loved the crows nest, and it felt so homey and cozy. We loved how centralized the cottage was to all the things we wanted to see. Phil and Georgia were amazing hosts, always responding quickly to any questions we had. 10 out of 10, would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the beach house. Really well equipped with all you would expect in your own home, including a great BBQ and washing and drying appliances. The outdoor equipment is also great and allows you to explore the local area by water. The sandy beach extends into the warm water of batchawana bay so you can walk in unencumbered inloke a lot of other properties that have rocks. We saw 2 bald eagles fishing and eating there catch and sitting in a local tree almost daily. Meet some really lovely neighbours who were really very kind to us. The local area beaches and trails are magnificent, so plenty to do if you fo feel like getting off the many sunbeds and changing one superb view for another. The only problem was it ended all to soon. Its on our all time nicest places we have visited. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

This is a wonderful rental and well thought out. Each of the two levels had a sitting area with tv, a full bath and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well appointed. There are three outdoor seating areas…one on the covered porch with lake/woods views, one on the dune overlooking the lake and one around the fire pit behind the house. Walking the beach or swimming is amazing with the lake being shallow and sand a long ways out. The location is wonderful and close to many area attractions.

My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend here. The lake, sunset, starry sky, bonfire, and fireplace created an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. We relaxed in the hot tub, gazing at the stars, and after a sauna session, enjoyed a restful sleep. Even though it's far from the city, the Starlink internet was fast, so there was no inconvenience at all. The facilities are also fully equipped. Highly recommended!

It's a very nice older cabin. Very quiet and peaceful area. Many kitchen and bathroom amenities. Owner offered to help in any way, but didn't bother us. We LOVED the private beach area: within easy walking distance, beautiful sunsets on the bay, and we watched the big ships traveling to the Soo Locks / Superior. Brimley is close to the Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, St. Ignace, Point Iroquois Lighthouse, Whitefish Point Lighthouse, and the Shipwreck Museum. Staying here allowed us to stay in one location while easily traveling by day to many beautiful places. We would come again if coming to the Upper Peninsula.

We had such a great time at the Deerfoot lodge. We originally rented the smaller of the two cabins, but there was a small issue that needed to be fixed in the smaller one, and no one was staying in the larger cabin, we got a surprise upgrade! 2 houses on the property makes for an amazing chance to get the whole family together for an adventure!! The kids loved the little built in playroom under the stairs and the foosball table! Great location for quick trips to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, snowmobile trails, and other attractions in the U.P. Highly recommend stopping at The Buckhorn for delicious dinner!! 10/10 would definitely stay again!! Thanks to Julie for the perfect getaway spot!

We just had a wonderful 4 night stay at this place and it was gorgeous! Sadly, the tenants the night before broke the sauna. However, Kai the owner told us right away and tried just about every possible option to get it fixed for us. They kept in contact with us while trying different options and were able to get it fixed on the last night. great hosts, awesome location, and b e a utiful water to swim.

We had a great time while there. We booked for a last minute getaway and found this place. I’ve never stayed in a house that’s ran on only solar and honestly didn’t read all of the details in the listing and was pleasantly surprised with that way of living. It was a great time to relax and unwind. Cooking our meals over a fire during the day and rock hunting on Lake Superior at night was just what we needed. The only complaint would be the dirt road to the house. The signs aren’t very clear, you have next to no service there and the directions are kinda confusing. We stayed 2 nights and even leaving when checking out we still were taking the wrong road/paths to get out.

Alan was an incredible host! His description of the inside of the house and how to get there was so helpful! I was initially nervous when I mapped out the location, but don't let that fool you! Debbie and Dan have given us the best experience we have ever had from AirBnB. They gave us an unforgettable experience in our first in Sault Ste Marie. We felt so much at home that we cooked more than eating out. The view of the lake from the bedroom every morning never gets old. Everything about the place is done so thoughtful and sprinkled with a touch of nostalgia.

Wow! What a beautiful place in Paradise, it made you feel like you were in Paradise. Cabin is absolutely beautiful and just steps from Lake Superior. The views were majestic and loved the open concept of the home with big tall windowed sliding glass doors to go out to the deck overlooking the Lake. Everything had labels and what switch lit up what area. Heated floor in the bathrooms which was amazing. Very comfortable home with plenty of seating. Loved everything about this place and will definitely stay here again if back in the area. This place is definitely a favorite of places we have stayed!

Have your information saved off-line, there is low/no connection and there is multiple cabins. The heaters and appliances worked properly. There is a lot of kayaks, chairs, and fire areas on the property. Great for fishing and freighter ship watching. The recommended family owned restaurant was good. Cabin is 30 minutes from chain restaurants and grocery store. The owners were great, friendly, and accommodating. We will be back.
