The house is conveniently located in the quaint town of Wallace, Idaho. This home was built in 1910 and retains its cottage charm with craftsman wood detailing and antique furnishings. Free private parking for two vehicles. Fenced front and back yards. It is a charming and easy walk to the restaurants and fascinating shops in Wallace and right off the main biking and hiking trails. For winter sports, Wallace sits between two popular ski resorts, Silver Mountain and Look-out Pass.
The Church House is one of Wallace's treasures, a one-of-a-kind lodging experience listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This charming little 2-bedroom home started life as a chapel in 1905, but has been used for multiple purposes through the years, including a coffee shop and art studio. Located right off the main street into town and across the road from the river, it's a short walk to shops and easy to find whether driving in or biking in from the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.
“The Chapel House was the perfect home base for our Wallace area adventures. After a day of hiking we were able to park for the day and never needed to pick up the car keys again. The location right in the heart of downtown was close to everything we wanted to see & right where we wanted to be. We could walk to wineries, breweries, shops, parks, museums, and restaurants. The space itself was unique, charming, comfortable, and fun. The beds were great and lots of games and movies to choose from should we have needed them. Thank you to the great hosts!”

“Gail is a wonderful host. Spent my mornings enjoying the breakfast in the colourful garden while spent the nights looking at the star lit sky. She is very responsive, accommodating and helpful. The house is well placed to enjoy neighbouring towns such as Mullan, Cour De Lane, and Hiawatha etc.”
