Vacation rentals with lake access in Upper Grand Lagoon

Overall very pleased with the house, price, location, and stay!! We encountered a couple hiccups with our stay that required us to communicate with the host. They are responsive to your messages on the Airbnb app. I was pleased to see that if you have issues with cleanliness, repair needed, or need assistance with something - they have a great reporting system in place and someone responds promptly. There was great communication from the hosts about the property as soon as you book and as you get closer to your rental dates. They provide you with helpful information and are upfront about what options are available/unavailable. The house is not in tip top pristine shape as there is some paint chipping and what I consider normal wear and tear, but it is really a neat place with the sharks hanging and pictures of sea creatures on the wall along with the open concept. At the end of the day the question is would you stay there again and the simple answer is yes!!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Dancing Pelican! It was the cutest beach house for our girls trip and was very close to shops and restaurants. Only about a 5 min drive to Rosemary Beach which was perfect for us. The golf cart and pool were also great additions. The home itself was beautiful and spotless (I am a bit of a clean freak and this is probably the cleanest AirBNB I have ever stayed in!). 4 of us girls slept comfortably and had ample space to get ready in, which we love. You could easily have 3 couples or families with kiddos stay comfortably here. We also really enjoyed lounging in common areas and on the porches. We even met some of the neighbors who were all really nice; it is very family friendly. Instructions from Carolyn and Brian were very clear and helpful. The home was quiet and cozy, and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I had a great stay here over July 4th weekend. The house is super comfortable and spacious for a large group while also providing nice privacy across the different floors. The location is perfect, walking distance to a nice pool/beautiful beach and a short drive to all the nearby beach towns. Would love to stay here again someday!

Everything was wonderful! Esther was quick to respond when we had an issue with the boat lift. The house was conveniently located near the gulf.. perfect place to bring a boat. Our family enjoyed our Easter weekend at Esther’s place. We will be back!

Such an amazing spot! Gorgeous sunsets. Great for our families Spring Break. Far away from “Spring breakers”. Josh responds to any questions or needs within 20 minutes. Huge backyard, great for cornhole & lawn games. Approx. 50 min from the beach (due to Spring Break traffic), otherwise it wouldn’t take that long. (We knew this!) The converted garage to game room was a hit with our kids (10 yo to 18 yo) We had epic ping pong & darts battles over the 3 full days that we were there. Definitely an amazing spot!

Susana is a first-class host. She's great at making her guests feel special. Her place has awesome showers and comfortable beds. It's in a light traffic, quiet, and upscale neighborhood with only a couple of cross streets going to dead ends, with a beautiful lake at the end of the street just a two-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

Wonderful weekend stay for a girls’ trip. The house is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was awesome and we LOVED the golf cart!!

Erin was super sweet and so welcoming! The house is super spacious and offered lots of amenities! The only thing to watch out for is the mosquitos, they’re everywhere and easily get in the house because it’s by a lake, obviously out of Erin’s control but just something to keep in mind. Other than that, we loved it here so much!

My husband, dog, and I spent a week here and loved every minute of it! Carillon Beach is absolutely beautiful, the pools are amazing, and community is lovely. We loved being close to 30a and hopping around all the beach towns in the evenings, as well as being near pier park for our dog :) The unit is exactly what is pictured and had ample space for us. Seriously our dream vacation, we will 1000000% be back!

Gave very detailed instructions and made sure I understood everything. The owner also was very responsive and answered every question I had and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean and looked just like the pictures and felt like we was at home. Would definitely rent again

Condo looks exactly like the picture. Residents were friendly and the community is quiet and peaceful. LOVED the views and easy access to the beach. Communication was great and Rosysan was receptive to feedback. Really enjoyed my stay for my birthday and would visit again!

Overall the stay and everything down to the food in the local area was good

This was an amazing Airbnb in a perfect location. Was so comfy and perfect. The bathroom was a great bonus - I definitely need that shower in my life. Would definitely love to stay again.

Booked this spot, last minute, for my daughter and her 6 friends, 1/2 way through their spring break! They’d had a bad experience at their previous location and were very nervous about “another air bnb”. Nina was VERY HELPFUL and kind! She went above and beyond to accommodate them! Beautiful view! Kind host! SAFE location, with lots of security! Would definitely recommend! Only thing we weren’t aware of was a resort fee of $120 but I chalk that up to reserving same day and I could have missed it in the description! It was worth it even with the fee!

Such a beautiful condo! So homey and clean!!

Perfect cottage near the beach with cozy spaces to chill out in. Beautiful outdoor space for cooking out and lounging. My little pups loved being outside and making friends with the cat next door. Walking the neighborhood was so fun, looking at the other cottages and, some ginormous new homes. The kitchen was beautiful and had a perfect breakfast table where we also held some fierce dominoes games at night. Location is still so very important and this cottage is perfectly situated for walking to the beach, shopping places and terrific restaurants with ocean views. A place to remember and revisit!

Connie introduced herself to us and she was super friendly. She has a separate building onsite. She also was kind enough to send items back that were left behind!! Great host!

Cassandra was amazing! She was quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and just made us feel right at home and an extension of the family. The cottage was adorable, functional, and very easily accommodated our family of 4 plus pup. The location was perfectly located in proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a cool and functional addition to the house. 10/10 Definetly Recommend!

Can’t wait to go back to Kathryn and Ron’s property. Was such an amazing weekend, they are an amazing persons and very gentle with us. The food was delicious and made by Kathryn, I loved the boat ride with Ron; husband and I were amazed by the Choctawhatchee river. For sure we will be back!

We had 3 families, 6 adults and six 17 year olds. We cooked every meal and kitchen was well equipped. Parking at the beach was very limited so the GEM cart (extra $) and free bikes worked out great. The pool was great with many chairs, tables, bathrooms, and umbrellas and has a large lawn where we played corn hole and Slammo. The house has two large living areas that allowed the teens to stay up late playing the many provided board games and watching movies on the large TVs. The back porch was nice for morning coffee. 4 bedrooms, 2 with connected bathroom, 2 without. All beds were very comfortable. The grill works well but bring utensils and a grill brush.

The place was wonderful and exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for. Annie was a great host and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Such a relaxing and well appointed home! The screened in porch with TV was great for the NCAA championship games! Everything you needed was already there- only needed food for cooking or grilling. It’s all about the details right? They didn’t miss any of the details! And the bikes were an added bonus. We wanted to relax and be low key and this is exactly what this home provided. The bed was comfy too!

Daniela's home is beautiful and comfortable. Outside of the space itself being gorgeous the quality of the linens and towels, thoughtful touches throughout and the kid friendly features really stood out. Everything is well maintained and wonderful. I highly recommend and can't wait to come back and stay again.
