Vacation rentals with a kayak in Union County

Very nice little place! Secluded, and on a nice quiet channel. The floating dock quickly became our favorite spot to hang out when we weren’t out on the boat! Would definitely rebook for another visit!

Tracy and Chuck’s wonderful Lake Home was exactly as described and so clean!! We stayed there for my daughter’s graduation from UT and it fit 10 of us comfortably. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked and the property is beautiful! Tracy and Chuck answered all questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for being such amazing hosts!

Our group had a fabulous time at the lake home. Jerry was an excellent host who gave us clear instructions on getting to the house and checked in with us during our stay. My kids were thrilled with all the fun activities in the downstairs space and wanted to be on the lake with the canoe and pedal boat as much as possible (despite the cold temps). Bedrooms were comfortable, and we loved cooking in the spacious kitchen. Easy drive to different hiking trails and into Knoxville. We hope to return in the warmer months to be able to utilize the amazing outdoor kitchen.

Our visit was fantastic. Check in was very straightforward and the building was clean and kitchen well stocked with everything we need for cooking. Private dock is an easy walk down a small hill, much more convenient then other homes on the lake. Nearby marinas and restaurants were a blast and everyone in our group enjoyed our stay. Would love to stay at this home again in the future.

Absolutely loved our first stay with them that we extended our stay with them. Stayed in two different locations. Couldn't have asked for a better host! Our first stay was on the lake. Host recommended different places for us. We had never been in the area. House had enough to entertain us that we only went shopping! Kitchen was amazing. It was just like as if I was home, but better! Second stay was a peaceful camper that had friendly neighbors as well. Camper was close enough to everything but secluded that it matched what we was looking for. Our dogs loved both locations as well. Was not a hassle or headache with the fur babies. To say the least we can not wait to stay again! We were already wanting to book another stay before we even left! Will definitely be booking again.

I frequently travel with a large group to volunteer at healthcare clinics so I’ve seen my fair share of large airbnbs but this stay by far has been the best I’ve ever experience. The property is truly gorgeous and built to entertain a large group for days. I cannot recommend enough!

The home was as beautiful and peaceful as well as the location and view. Inside the home also did not disappoint being clean and welcoming. John was very accommodating and responsive. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

I stayed at this cabin for 3 nights with a couple of friends and it was the perfect spot! Having the property to roam is really nice and access to the lake. They have a ton of large cabins all near each other on the property so it would be a great place to have a family reunion or retreat with a large group. I would recommend staying here overall!

We greatly enjoyed our extended stay at this cabin. They have preserved the age, but brought in modern amenities such as Internet and updated the fireplace. The views from the sunroom were stunning and able to be enjoyed even in freezing cold weather. We will be back!

Had an incredible stay at Carol’s cabin. Perfect lakeside getaway with an incredible view. Carol thought of everything - even had fresh baked bread waiting for us! Worked great for our group of 7. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely cabin! stunning view of the lake. We were a family of 8 and it suited us beautifully. My mother and father have limited mobility and it was wonderful that everything was on one floor. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to make meals. The layout was great for all of us to be able to hang out together. Super comfortable family room furniture. It was warm enough a couple of days to sit on the porch. I enjoyed having my coffee and reading while listening to the geese and birds on the lake. Rita was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

The mountain lake setting is spectacular! Window wall facing lake allows maximum enjoyment of the surroundings. All the comforts of home and then some provided. All facilities worked well and were very well maintained I highly recommend this place to get away from it all and enjoy some solitude in a truly gorgeous area.

Beautiful house with an incredible outdoor entertaining space and dock. We rented the pontoon boat without any issues. The inside is super clean, spacious and accommodates a larger group well. The owner, Douglas, was very responsive. I highly recommend this staying here!

Orchard Mountain view is a great option for a mid-size crew looking to explore the local area in and around Ride Royal, Tackett creek. Home is thought out well and appropriately equipped. Great views from the rear deck of home. Would be phenomenal during the fall months. Was very comfortable four our party of six. Would definitely consider it again if we return to this area to ride. Driveway was able to handle our equipment trailer with some creative driving. I would like to see a regular propane grill instead of a blackstone but that is just my preference to BBQ. Did have visits a couple nights from local wildlife so it is necessary to appropriately store trash. I think a steel trash encloser would be a nice addition. Would just have to be creative as how to make it blend into the beautiful surroundings.

This was a gem of a home and rental experience. Taylor was extremely easy to communicate with and the entire rental process was simple and efficient. The home itself is well represented in the photos, it actually surprised us as being much nicer; a great mountain cabin vibe. The appointments/extras were well thought out and made the stay feel like being at home. This could not have been a better rental experience. If you are looking for a top notch host and home, this is your pick.
