Family-friendly vacation rentals in Umpqua River

Greatest host and house I could have hoped for, especially considering how last minute it was. They went above and beyond to make the stay as wonderful as possible, and easy for all of us. Extremely polite, and proactive. This place feels more like a home than a rental, and it’s easy to feel like you’re staying with family (that you like)! It’s beautiful inside and out. So much to do in the house, you might not actually leave, and they have everything you need and more available. Easily my first choice next time I’m looking to go back. 100/10 stars. Do yourself the favor of staying here.

We had a wonderful time as always! The house was beautiful, clean and quiet. It has an amazing view of the beach and was just the vacation spot we needed!

Ed and Jacquie’s place was exactly what we needed. We were on a road trip moving some stuff and towing a trailer, so finding a private, safe spot where we didn’t have to unload everything was a big deal. Their property was perfect, and the pull-through driveway made it super easy to get in and out with the trailer. On top of that, Ed and Jacquie were incredibly kind and welcoming. Honestly, some of the nicest hosts we’ve ever had. The property was peaceful and relaxing, with a creek out back, and the house itself was cozy and comfortable. We felt right at home. I only wish we could have stayed longer! If you’re in the area and need somewhere to stay, definitely stay here. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Monica's townhome was perfectly clean and the hot tub exceptional. She was friendly and quick with responses to my questions.

The nicest dog-friendly home we’ve ever stayed in! Lots of sweet extras for our dogs, securely fenced yard, and everything people could need or want too! Extremely well supplied, even found a band-aid when I needed one. Also, Danielle was so kind and answered every message immediately! We would highly recommend this place. Perfect for visiting your student at UO! Go Ducks!

Wow, what a great experience. The home was just as described, so cozy and comfortable. We were able to settle in as soon as we checked in. My grandkids loved playing in the lower level and in the beautiful open spaces. The hosts were the most gracious and welcoming. They invited us all into their music room which was an experience all its own. We learned a lot and had fun too! We had a blast! Friendly hosts would be an understatement! We were overwhelmed by their generous, kind spirits. We have already been talking about returning this year.

The neighborhood was awesome! There was food just around the corner within walking distance. The yard was beautiful, they were planting fresh flowers. The shower was separate than the bathroom which was convenient so that the bathroom can still be used while the shower is in use. We enjoyed staying here and would do it again. Thanks for a nice weekend!

We had a great experience staying here as our home base for our coast trip and golf at Bandon Dunes. We loved being right on the beach and found Khamsey was very communicative and accommodating. Would def recommend and will be back if our plans take us back to Bandon.

Great accommodations! comfortable, everything we needed. Staying a little ways out from busy Corvallis gave us a quiet respite to relax and recharge. Pool table was a huge hit with my housemates!

Betsy’s place is the perfect coastal retreat: the house has everything you need, and the property itself is absolutely stunning. It’s private, peaceful, and so quiet you can hear nothing but the sound of the ocean. It really feels like a home away from home. Our family stayed for two nights and had a blast watching movies, playing games and walking on the beach. House has a beautiful view of the bay and the bridge. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Great location. Old, stale smell but they take pets so kind of what you would expect. Easy walk to the beach. Great bargain.

This was our second stay, and we’ll be back. A beautiful, spacious home with an unbeatable location, with a walking path to the beach just a couple houses down. A wonderful host and exceptional experience. Comfortable beds and all the amenities.

Close to beach. Large house with plenty of room for a family to spread out. Dog friendly yard. (as in fenced and accessible by side door). Plenty of cookware, and a sink with a disposal which is handy.

This is our third year staying at Dan’s place. It’s very private, cozy, and we love the location. Place is clean and has everything anyone would need. You can sit on the deck and watch the whales. Beach is within a few mins walk. Great place to stay with family. We will be back again :)

Kirk and I communicated a number of times for clarifications as needed. We hosted a large family Thanksgiving dinner and wanted to make sure we had all that we needed. It was spectacular. We had our two young grandkids and the box of kids toys and outdoor toys was wonderful. The gazebo with Fireplace and the gas firepit on the deck were wonderful places to gather during the late Fall coolness. The home was spectacular for our 8 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog. . . Could not have asked for a better stay.

This was a lovely stay for a girls weekend! The weather was gorgeous and we spent a fair amount of our time outside at the pool and the lawn looking out onto the river. There was a wedding at a location across the river so we got to have lovely background music while we chatted. Literally the PERFECT weekend for us!

My husband, dog and I had a great stay. The location was great and the landscaping of the property was impeccable. My dog can be sensitive to unknown noises but the property was very quiet and private so we didn't have any issues. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day and sitting by the river with a beverage was a highlight of the stay.

This place is incredible. You won't find a better spot. The backyard is sand dunes that lead to the Pacific Ocean, and, to what feels like, a private beach. This is especially perfect for one or multiple families. Six bunkbeds and lots of toys and a play area for small children. Our kids had an absolute blast! You'll love this spot, and Claudia is super responsive to any needs that may arise :)

Beautiful home for all our family to stay in together! Loved being able to walk right to the beach, and close enough to Newport and Florence. The oven may need to be replaced, as it took a while to cook any food in it and made a strange noise, but other than that, it was a great time! Thank you again!
