We loved our stay, it was exactly what we were looking for! It was peaceful, quiet, had outdoor activities, and a lot of places to explore! We enjoyed our host, unfortunately, we forgot his name :( but he was awesome!! Gave us a lot of recommendations and was super friendly! We are already talking about coming back this summer!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The house offers stunning views not offered by any other home near the Sequoia National Park. It is located a few hundred yards from the entrance to the park. This will save you from having to wait in line for access. Just remodeled and everything is well planned for your stay. Offering stairs to a private beach at the river, unforgettable views and the most peaceful environment to recharge. Super fast WIFI if you do have to catch up on work ;)

The suite is our largest in the Sequoias Lodge with beautifully appointed wood paneled ceilings and walls. The suite has wrap around windows which feels like a treehouse canopy.  Enjoy a spacious suite with a seating area in front of a fire place giving you plenty of room to spread out and stay cosy. A second smaller room with a queen bed and windows facing the river offers an additional space for family or friends.   Peaceful views of the forest and creek make this space serene.    

A bright and functional bathroom is shown, featuring a white toilet and a sink with a large mirror above it. Fresh towels are neatly hung on a rack, and a hairdryer is mounted nearby. Light-colored tiles cover the floor for ease of cleaning.

The Mary Jane Suite @ The JD Hyde Historic Inn

Built in 1886, the JD Hyde Historic Inn has been completely restored over the last several years. It is a large home, sitting at almost 4,000 square feet, and has plenty of space for you to spread out and enjoy. While there are no televisions anywhere at the house, we do have very fast wifi, a swimming pool & spa, a firepit, and a library full of books. There are board games to play, great restaurants and breweries nearby to visit, and a fabulous home base to enjoy it all from!

Andrea was a great host! She helped us with some good local tips as we were visiting during winter with very few places open and road closures! The place was also great to stay with all amenities needed! Thank you for having us! Hope to visit again 😊

Armando is a great guy. Goodness the coffee he makes after he received you with a big smile. The entire place gives you a home feeling right away. The house with the view we had was the best one in a long time. The stove inside made it perfect! Thank you for all your kindness!

Chris was absolutely amazing right from when we booked weeks ago to the time we checked out. He even offered to FaceTime in case we wanted to check out the place. All in all, he is super approachable and the very best in response time and patience I have seen. Thanks Chris! The place itself is nestled amongst the hills, so please expect windy roads but you will be rewarded with gorgeous views, a great host, a peaceful and fun stay. We were in a time crunch and couldn’t really explore a lot - and so, we hope to come back soon another time to enjoy the vast property and its views.

Everything was perfect! So glad I found this!

Great location, very close to the Sequoia National Park entrance. Shop, pizza, gas station everything nearby. Room was nice and clean. The area was quiet and chair on the porch made it easy to relax.

The spacious room features a king-sized bed with a navy blue duvet and decorative pillows. Adjacent, a kitchenette area with dark cabinetry can be seen. A comfortable chair sits next to a wall-mounted television, and a patterned rug lays across the light-colored floor.

We were super happy with our stay! The apartment was exactly as described and matched the photos perfectly. It had everything we needed, and the value was fantastic. The host was very friendly, and the apartment was spotless. It truly felt like home. Highly recommend!

Our stay was very comfortable and everything was simple. The hotel is located it the perfect location downtown. Plenty of food choices and easy access to the highway. The room was very nice. The beds are clean and comfortable. Refrigerator and Keurig included. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel location is nice. You can walk to restaurants and gas stations. The hotel provided us with restaurant list. The hotel was clean. Our room was renovated which was nice and super clean. To Sequoia park was about an hour drive. Hotel provided free parking. To Lindsay was 30 minutes. It was clean and a nice location. Will be back soon!
