King’s X Cabin a private, romantic getaway

MikeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This location was surprisingly more spacious than the photos posted and it came with A LOT of accommodations. These host really put a lot of thought and heart into making this place a perfect stay. Janet kindly and briefly welcomed us when we first arrived. There’s a wall separating the guest homes outside dining, jacuzzi, bbq, fire pit and bird watching area from the main home, so it’s plenty private! We definitely recommend this stay and would visit again.
A rustic cabin is showcased, nestled under a layer of snow, with wooden walls and a sloping roof. Icicle lights are draped along the eaves. Outdoor seating is visible on the snowy deck, along with a grill and wooden storage nearby.

Enchanting Sequioa Tree House with Hot-Tub

YevhenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay! The house has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the location is incredibly quiet — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub, they made our evenings extra special. There’s also a store, a bar, and a gas station nearby, which was very convenient. The view from the house is beautiful too! A couple of things to keep in mind: Sequoia National Park is about a 2-hour drive away, and as other guests mentioned, the beds could be better — the frames are smaller than the mattresses and quite squeaky, which made it a bit tricky to sleep comfortably. Also, the house itself is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it!
The cabin is set amidst natural greenery, featuring multiple wooden decks and staircases that lead to the upper levels. Large windows are visible, allowing light to brighten the exterior. The surrounding stones and foliage create a tranquil outdoor environment.

Hotsprings water into the cabin tub by deer creek

EmiliaRating, 5 stars24 months ago
This place is absolutely amazing. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. The creek was like a painting, and it was amazing to be able to walk down and drink coffee over looking it, or walk all the way down for a swim. There’s also a hot spring outlet just up the creek. The cabin was cozy for all nine guests. Check in was easy, Peter answered all questions and gave great directions. I want to come back. Thank you, Peter!

The Sierra Home

KellyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Perfect Girls’ Weekend Getaway! We had the best time at this Airbnb in Sequoia National Park! The house was immaculately clean, cozy, and had the most stunning views—perfect for morning coffee or stargazing at night from the hot tub. The location couldn’t be better—super close to tons of amazing hiking trails, so we packed our days with adventure and came home to total peace and quiet. Big shoutout to the host, who was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. It really felt like a home away from home. If you’re planning a girls’ weekend (or any kind of getaway), this place is a total win. We’ll definitely be back!

Charming Granite Cabin #4 Sequoia Nat'l Park

PhilRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Airbnb was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful details that give it the feel of a stylish apartment in a big city. The terrace is a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery, and the convenience of parking right in front of the cabin is a big plus. It’s an ideal base for visiting Sequoia National Park. A couple of small suggestions: the area immediately surrounding the cabin could be a bit more organized, and having a small closet or clothing rack inside would make the stay even more comfortable.

We loved our stay in the trees! The space had everything we needed to be comfortable. I always appreciate extra blankets for comfort and their kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and cook! The views are spectacular. We had some beautiful sunsets we enjoyed from the porch. The giant sequoia on the property was icing on the cake!

Cabin In The Woods- hot tubbing yes, demons no

JacobRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Gabby was a fantastic host and was so kind with all of the amazing recommendations. We loved our cozy stay at Cabin Grim before going into our strenuous couple days of backpacking. Wanted to note, we did book with plans of visiting Sequoia National Park and did not realize how lengthy the drive would be (3 hours each way) which was a fault of our own lol. It was a very scenic drive and we loved the area!

The Tranquil Trout Cabin

SarahRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The trout cabin is a really fantastic place to stay when visiting sequoia and kings canyon. Most of the sites are within 20-45 mins by car and the scenery during the drive is beautiful. The cabin is really homely and comfortable and had everything we needed for our family for cooking. The shower was better than most of the hotels we have stayed at! And the bed was very comfortable. The WiFi is super easy to log on and very fast- faster than any hotel which is great as we did not have signal in the area. Would highly recommend as a peaceful stay in Beautiful area and Katherine is a great host and left us lots of helpful information and recommendations.

We loved staying in this beautiful cabins! The windows and the views were great. The cabin stayed warm while it was snowing outside. The hosts were so gracious and left coffee and popcorn for us to enjoy. The cabin was clean. The check out instructions were super easy. We were able to sled around the cabin, so that was really fun! Would definitely stay here again!

Isaaks Trails End Cabin Retreat in Pine Flat

Michael & SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a nice 2-night stay. Beds were comfortable. Showers worked well. Kitchen well stocked. We bought all groceries we would need in Bakersfield. There is a small grocery/restaurant very close, but we didn't go in. It's a nice 45 minute drive to the closest site in Sequoia: Trail of 100 Giants. The only issue (and it is general to the area and not specific to this cabin) is that there is no cell service in the area. Coming from the west, we lost it about Ducor, and didn't regain it until we returned to that point. Just be aware in case you need to communicate with anyone by means other than through WiFi at the cabin (which worked fine). The specific issue I had was that text-based or cell-call two-factor authentication is not possible.

River Kern A-Frame

JohnathonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing stay in River Kern! Emma's A-frame cabin is the perfect spot for a visit to the Kern River. We spent 3 nights there and it was an awesome stay for two families. We had deer walk through the backyard on several occassions, caught a few trout, and just had a great time in general. The house itself is clean, updated, and has tons of activities and amenities. The wrap around porch is awesome and the backyard is beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here and we will be back ourselves!

Historic Cabin—Walk to Big Tree—In Kings Canyon NP

TomRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Heather is one of the most responsive and proactive hosts I have ever rented from. The cabin was exactly as pictured and the community was as quaint and peaceful as expected. We really enjoyed reading the history of the property and admired all the little details. Totally loved the idea of the “Beverage Lending Fridge” on the front porch. We also appreciate the recommendation of doing the Mist Falls hike, which we would also recommend to other first-time visitors to Kings Canyon.

We enjoyed spotting deer, hearing birds chirp, and watching squirrels in the area – such a nice touch of nature. The place was exactly as described – warm, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The patio and deck provided the perfect spot to relax outdoors. It was incredibly tranquil and peaceful, ideal for a getaway. Just a heads-up: you'll need to take your trash with you, as there's no onsite disposal. Highly recommend for a restful escape!

Gilmore Cabin

MasonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a beautiful, home-y cabin in the foothills! We were visiting Sequoia, and this provided great proximity to the park. It was SO peaceful and well-equipped. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cookware. Laundry unit too! Great shower and bathroom. Loved the nice firm mattress after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed playing games, lounging on the patio, and watching the wildlife (i.e. turkey, quail, etc). Incredible spot. We can’t wait to return! Couple notes: make sure to bring foil if you want to cook on the grill or preserve leftovers. Also, remember no TV or A/C here! It got a lil warm while we were staying, but the fan kept air moving when we returned in the evenings. Might be nice to get one more fan at the cabin since we had guests in both rooms and only one fan to share. Some of the window screens need to be repaired too. A few were damaged or cut so we couldn’t open those windows w/o worrying about mosquitoes. Finally! Windy roads, take care driving in before nightfall.
