Mountain top cabin with long range views!!! Like most mountain roads in Bryson City, It'll be a bumpy ride up the partially gravel road to our cabin,,,, Our driveway is steep! AWD isn't needed (our Nissan Altima does great) It can be intimidating at first, but you will conquer and in no time enjoy the challenge! The cabin is in a mountain community called Ocona Lake Estates. Located 5 miles from Bryson City and 5 miles from Cherokee NC/ Oconaluftee Visitor. Catoloochee Ski resort is 18 miles.

This log home is ten minutes from downtown Bryson City with many restaurants and grocery stores. Also close to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, white water rafting, tubing, Harrah's in Cherokee, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The views are gorgeous from the hot tub on the deck. Road to the cabin is mostly paved but the last few minutes are graveled with a few steep areas. The driveway is also. You'll need at least an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle

Modern Five Star Stay | Serene Mtn Views | Hot Tub

We love the Smokies and try to visit 2-3 times a year. We have stayed in several AirBnb’s and this was by far our favorite! We own a home renovation company in Northwest Indiana and are naturally more particular about properties we stay in and could not have been more impressed. The modern cabin appeal initially drew our attention (so happy to not see golden knotty pine everywhere) and the decor was elegant, modern, yet rustic. The fully tiled on-suite showers were also a huge bonus. Next time we hope to bring our family to enjoy this fantastic modern yet rustic home! It is also located in our favorite town away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but has easy access to the park. We would highly recommend this home for a perfect trip to the mountains. Cannot wait to visit again soon.

Darrell made sure he sent messages to make sure everything was going well. The home was beautiful and private. Just take it easy going up to the cabin as it is a bumpy ride. I look forward to staying at this property again. Also make sure you bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as it's not provided, as well as toothpaste. Other than that the house literally had almost everything you need!!

Nestled in the heart of Bryson City, this little mountain retreat offered the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience to local attractions. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need—from kitchen essentials to soft blankets perfect for curling up by the fireplace. Every detail felt intentional, making us feel right at home. But what truly made our stay exceptional was our host, Christina. She was warm, and responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful escape into nature, Mountain Memories is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories!

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate for us, it didn't diminish our stay one bit. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves from the time we got to the cabin until the time we left. Thank you Shelly & Jack for letting us stay in your beautiful, cozy cabin! This was the perfect location to relax, unwind, and recharge in nature. My parents drove down to meet my husband and I, and we all had the most incredible family weekend. I was celebrating my 30th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. Hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains was fantastic. We loved The Alum Cave Trail into Le Conte for a 10-mile, strenuous day hike. The hot tub felt so good after that! My parents did an open-air Bryson City Train ride and loved the experience. Bryson City Bakery for breakfast is a MUST! Jimmy Mac’s was the best hometown original, authentic feeling diner...with the best fried pickles we’ve ever had! Shelly and Jack are incredibly responsive and were happy to provide additional recommendations! Thanks for a great trip!!

This was probably the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in, including the hot tub. It's cozy, comfortable, everything works great, it was easy to find and really peaceful. I would definitely return again for another getaway, we had a great time and really recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen's place. It was nice and clean. We loved the fact that you could walk to town and find places to eat and shop. We didn't have to pay to park to ride the train because it was within walking distance.
