Barb & John’s “Beauty in the Shenandoah” is one of the best Airbnbs our family has stayed at. We made this gem our home-away-from-home during our daughter’s graduation weekend at UVA. It is about a 30-minute drive to Charlottesville, which was perfect for us so we can be away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic and crowds during graduation weekend. The property is pristine and peaceful, allowing us plentiful space both indoors and outdoors to create memorable moments together as a family. Barb was so respectful, responsive, and gracious… welcoming us with personal extras and warm congratulations to our graduate. We are so happy with our stay that we have already booked again to return for our son’s graduation the same time next year. Being a fellow Airbnb host, I can say that these hosts are the epitome of hospitality. Our family is looking forward to May 2026 (or we may just fit in a weekend getaway even sooner)!

This house and property were everything we were looking for! It is a beautifully renovated home with excellent river access and stunning views. My family had the best time and we would go back without hesitation! 10/10 recommend! The owners were very responsive and accommodating as well.

Clean, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, loved the rockers and swing on the front porch. We needed to make adjustments to our stay and Philip and Myrna were so helpful and accommodating.

Foresthill Farm was an absolute delight! The grounds and home were so well maintained. Peaceful and beautiful best describes the property . Enjoyed watching the cattle grazing. The interior of the home exceeded all expectations. Cozy and full beautiful antiques. Extremely clean and very comfortable. Sam was a great host. So friendly and quick to respond. Nina’s place is very nice and comfortable. It’s a great value. We were traveling home with our pups after four months away and it was great for them too. There’s a good dead end side road where we could walk the dogs. It feels like you are in the country but you are still very close to JMU campus and town. Nina is very kind and responsive.

Sharon and Allen are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us in with open arms to their beautiful property and felt like family immediately. It was a wonderful getaway for our family to get to stay at their place. We were surrounded by the beauty of Sharon’s artwork and the peaceful landscape out our window. Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Wonderful condo with amazing views. Close to hiking trails, and a restaurant right across the street. Watching the sunrise on the deck is so amazing and peaceful. Lauren is extremely responsive.
