Vacation rentals with a kayak in Spotsylvania County

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very peaceful cabin with lake access. Exactly as described. Even more beautiful in-person. Mark responded to our questions clearly and swiftly. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our 4th year renting this house for a week of fishing. My friends and I enjoy the location and easy access to the water. House is always clean and our hosts, Andrew and Chad are very responsive and helpful with any questions we may have.

Peaceful and then some. The house is located on a quiet dead end street…perfect for walking your 4-legged friend. Once inside the covered breezeway, make your way through the door and you’re greeted by a well appointed kitchen with plenty of room to prepare meals. From there you enter the dining and living room areas with plenty of seating. Hidden on this level of the house is a master bedroom with en-suite bath. Take a trip up via the spiral staircase and you will find 3 more bedrooms and another full bath. Head back downstairs to the main level and you will be met with the showstopper…the outdoor area. There’s an expansive deck with a large table and chairs plus deep seating for an evening relaxing while looking over the lake. A short stroll away lies the pier and all the water toys. We enjoyed the paddle boat and the canoe very much.

We had an amazing stay at Daniel’s house on Lake Anna! The home was spotless and with top-notch amenities that made our visit super comfortable and enjoyable. The outdoor space was a definite highlight. Perfect for relaxing and taking in the peaceful lake surroundings. Even the cozy common areas, everything was thoughtfully arranged. What really stood out was Daniel’s responsiveness! Any time we had a question, he got back to us almost immediately, which made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free getaway!

The air b n b was beautiful and comfortably fit our large party. Having the house connected to a private dock was so much fun and the dock area was beautiful. Kevin was proactive, clear, and responsive with instructions and questions I had. I would 100% stay here again!

A beautiful setting and a well appointed house, perfect for group gatherings. The lake at this end is very peaceful, lots of herons and geese, and the surrounding water and marshes are gorgeous to kayak through. Kitchen has everything you’d need for any range of possible meals. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms spotless and include soap/shampoo dispensers, and we loved having a range of seating areas. The hot tub is a really nice one! A few things that may be useful for future guests to pack or know: the dock and deck have no furniture if you want to pack beach chairs (we did). The water on this side is comparatively shallow but fine to put a pontoon or canoe in. We did wish for screen doors on the many large back doors to enjoy the breeze, but used the screened in porch for that. Don’t forget beach towels! The upstairs living room doesn’t have a TV, though the downstairs one is huge (this was fine for us but others may want to be aware when they pick bedrooms).

Hands down the homiest Airbnb we have got the pleasure to enjoy. The property is absolutely beautiful and they have so many activities available for any outdoor lover. Our dogs lived their best life running the yards and relaxing.

We had such a great vacation in Lake Anna. This was the perfect spot; nestled in a cove surrounded by mature trees with a breathtaking view out over the lake. What a beautiful area. Every day we seen deer and bunnies:) Wrap around decks. The layout of this house is amazing for a family- so many cozy spots and comfy lounge furniture. The kitchen is incredible. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The house was even decorated with a Christmas tree for us:) Beth was super nice and very responsive with any questions we had. We can't wait to go back.

An amazing stay for our group! It was a beautiful and peaceful environ and the house and local neighborhood had some fantastic amenities and perks that we were fully encouraged to enjoy and take advantage of. We had a full group of 8 people and and it was perfect for our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage is completely remodeled and provides a great space for a small family to interact and enjoy the lake. We had a mix of cooking on the Blackstone/kitchen and eating at some of the local restaurants on the lake. Christine and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful week on the lake. We used paddleboards and rented boats and wave runners from the local marinas. Smores by the fire pit were a bonus!

We had an incredible stay! The host Jae is very responsive. The place is perfect for anyone who loves fishing, kayaking, and water sports. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the water and all the equipment you could need. The peaceful surroundings made it even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts—can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed staying at this Lake Anna house and recommend it! The house sits on a small cove off the lake, and they have kayaks and a canoe, along with several life jackets. You can set the boats in the water and paddle off right away. This isn't a part of the lake where you can swim, unfortunately, but it is not far from places where you can swim. Putt putt, ice cream, lake rental, and a seafood restaurant are a short (less than 10 minutes) kayak ride away or just a 2-3 minute drive. There was a nest of red-tailed hawks in one of the front trees, which was very cool to watch. The yard is sloped down to the water, so very fun for running and playing, but don't bring a soccer ball or it will end up in the lake(!). Note that the bedroom with the bunk beds (in the basement) is directly off the big basement bedroom, so you have to go through that bedroom to get to the bunk beds. (Was only a minor issue when kiddos got up early and were noisy.) Kitchen was big and well appointed!

Very nice house. Served our purpose perfectly. Amber was helpful and good at communicating. The listing does warn renters of cameras.

My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway, and it was perfect. Micah’s place is super cozy and had everything we needed. The house was really clean and the beds were super comfy. We cooked a few meals and found the kitchen had all the essentials. My husband had a great time fishing at the pond—he caught a ton—while I relaxed and read by the sandy area. We’ll definitely be coming back! Micah and her husband were awesome hosts and quick to answer any questions we had.

Staying at this Airbnb was an absolute delight. The spotless home and comfortable space felt like a home away from home. Scott, an exceptional host, provided fantastic local recommendations, making my trip even more enjoyable. The smooth check-in and the readily available amenities added to the convenience. The ideal location on the lake offered a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. !

This was our FOURTH year at Lighthouse Cove, and it was better than ever! This feels like home at the lake; warm and inviting with all needs covered, but clear of clutter. The forecast looked wet during our whole stay, but that quickly changed and we were out in the lake daily! The floating lily pad this year was a total game changer!! If you have kids def take advantage of it and the beach area/playground 2 doors over. The beds are extremely comfortable, and bathrooms well equipped with tons of towels and complimentary shampoo/wash. The second fridge is always utilized and the huge island and full length pantry are perfect for ALL the snacks! Toula is so sweet and responsive to any and all questions. She’s a fantastic host! Can’t wait for year #5!

The house was perfect for our stay. There were plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The beds and linens made for a restful night sleep after a busy day.

We had such a wonderful getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed the kayak and pedal boat. The house is beautifully located with so many opportunities for amazing lane views.

We cannot say enough good about Irene and her accommodation! It was so relaxing, and comfortable. We were able to get much needed rest, and just sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and the lake view! Our time on the Kayaks was great! We did not get to do all we wanted to do during our two days there, but thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, and especially the jacuzzi tub. We also really loved the unique quirks in her house - they were so cool! We highly recommend anyone wanting to get some down time, to go and find great relaxation at this wonderful place!
