The Gathering Place is the perfect place to get away and gather with family and friends. The resort is located conveniently between Bardstown, Louisville, and Frankfort on the Bourbon Trail. Make yourself at home in this cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath lakeside cottage with incredible views of Taylorsville Lake. You will love the open airy feel complete with deck and hot tub. Washer dryer, four beds that easily sleeps 7. TV in both the master bedroom and the living room. The wonderful community also offers a swimming pool and play area for kids. Enjoy the wildlife as well including deer and turkey as you explore the walking trails. We are located in the heart of the bourbon country!

Bourbon Country Cabin with HOT TUB & Fire Pit

Located on beautiful Brashears Creek in the heart of Bourbon Country, this loft style cedar cabin makes a great central location to visit some local distilleries and wineries. It is also a great place to stay for anyone who might be in the area for a horse show or interested in antique shopping along Shelbyville's historical Main Street. My personal favorite thing to do at the cabin is enjoy the creek. The water level fluctuates significantly depending on the amount of rainfall received.
