A very clean space with plenty of to spread out. As convenient as you can get for fishing.

Had an amazing stay at this airbnb! Extremely comfortable for 6 people and looks even better than the pictures. We loved having a pool table and plenty of kayaks for everyone. Lisa is an awesome host and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect, including restaurant recommendations, a welcoming check in and out and was very communicative throughout the process. P.s.: Don’t skip the Piri Piri restaurant! They have delicious food.

Our three night stay at Kim’s place was excellent. The houseboat is well designed and immaculate. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Kim was always responsive to any questions. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the turtles and birds. There are many restaurants in Sanford or just stay at the harbor and eat at the deli or the bar. We would love to stay again.

We totally enjoyed our 12 night stay on the "Why Knot" houseboat. Michael met us when we arrived, showed us around and pointed out anything that needed special instructions. The boat was very clean, had brand new carpet, and had everything we needed. The town of Sanford is very walkable. We enjoyed the community theater, the winery and local restaurants.

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Lauren was very responsive and helpful when there were some problems with the internet provider. But the best part of the stay was time spent on the deck over the river. Very beautiful and peaceful! Even at night, the view of the distant city lights reflected in the water was gorgeous!

This place was exactly what we were looking for and needed. Great time fishing for three days. Dean is a great host. We will be back in the fall.

The house boat was truly a unique and enjoyable experience. The “locals” living at the marina were very chatty and friendly. All around it was a wonderful atmosphere and an exciting memory!

We have never stayed on a house boat, and this FAR exceeded our expectations. It was the best of both worlds; all the comforts of home while being afloat on the river. Everything was in pristine condition and there were plenty towels, linens, and even supplied fun captains hats! We loved having coffee in the morning on the open air deck off the master bedroom, and enjoyed our evenings on the tremendous rooftop deck. I couldn't recommend this more. My only regret is we didn't find this sooner!

Had a great experience on this lovely houseboat! It was very clean and esthetically pleasing. It had everything you needed to be comfortable during your stay. It was located in a great spot, easily able to walk, bike or rent golf carts to get to local restaurants etc. Being directly on the water with a back deck was very peaceful. We were able to fish and sip on our coffee's every morning and have a glass of wine at night. It was relatively private and very relaxing. We went on the dolphin jet ski tour which was a lot of fun. There were dolphins that swam right alongside our jet skis and one morning one came right up to the deck of the houseboat!! The beach is about a 5 minute walk and the white powdered sand and warm Gulf water was amazing! I would highly recommend this stay. It was a unique experience and our Host, Andrew was top notch!!!

This was truly one of the most unforgettable stays we’ve ever had. The houseboat is stunning, beautifully secluded, and came fully equipped with everything we could have asked for — including kayaks, boogie boards, beach chairs, and even a grill for easy dinners. Within minutes of arriving, we spotted sea otters, and over the course of our stay, we also saw dolphins and had a manatee swim right up to my wife and kids while they were kayaking. It felt like something out of a dream. The location is perfect — just across the street from a beautiful beach where we spent hours in the water and got to watch breathtaking sunrises. Then, in the evenings, we’d relax on the back deck and watch the sunset. Natalie, the host, was absolutely amazing — incredibly thoughtful and responsive, even bringing over a Bluetooth speaker to make our stay even better. I booked the house boat for a surprise getaway for my husbands birthday and he was blown away! It was perfect in every way. Peaceful, felt secluded even though we were so close to anything we wanted to do. I will recommend the Little House on the River to all my friends.

Exactly what was described! We caught some good fish and had a great stay. Some bugs there but that is unavoidable

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our relaxing stay on the houseboat. We opted to get groceries and just stay put during our stay and it was exactly what we hoped for. The houseboat was comfortable and clean. Sergey was so friendly, responsive and incredibly hard working. Probably the best host we’ve ever had. Check in and check out were seamless and communication and information was great. We had paddle boarded the mangrove trails and it was a great way to see them up close and have some adventure. Watching the sun rise and set over the water was perfection. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place. Cell service was great so I could hotspot and work still. We truly didn’t want to leave.

This place is amazing! Fantastic view and super clean inside and out! Owner is very proactive, simple, and responsive. We will be back every year at least. This is top 5 if not the best place to stay in Venice. Thank you again!

We just can’t say enough about how amazing our host Angie was. From our multiple travel delays to other special accommodations, she was incredibly gracious. The houseboat is super cozy and had everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the deck and enjoying time with family. Thank you, Angie for such a fun weekend on the “Vol River.”

Easy to get to Jane's boat, the people were very friendly. The boat was amazing, very cozy, love the desk especially with the weather being great. I strongly recommend to stay there, easy access to and from the boat to downtown. The area is family owned with live music, painting sessions and even guess the songs night. We shall return to Pittsburgh and book at Jane's boat again. That is a guarantee. Thank you

My husband and I came with my mother in law and it was a great experience for her! The boat was very clean and neat. No problems at all. We would stay there again.

Beautiful houseboat exactly like in the pictures. Being the end unit, it has the best view of the river and Battleship North Carolina. It also has better privacy and access convenience to the community picnic area. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything was perfect!

This place was fantastic. My husband and I typically prefer dispersed or primitive camping. Now that our daughter is a teen, we're trying to explore other options while staying within our comfort zone. The Tugboat gave us the privacy and nature that we (the adults) love, as well as activities and amenities that kept our girl happy and entertained, never lacking something to do. Even though my husband's family is from the area, and we both know it well, the guidebook led us to places we otherwise wouldn't have gone. The property was clean and well-maintained. The life jackets alone were telling as to the care taken (every size and CLEAN, which is hard for life jackets)! Things I find relevant: a. it's a tug. if you've never been on/seen one, the doors are not what you'll find on a house - think 2/3. b. if you're afraid of ducks (or birds in general), these ones will change your mind c the hosts, though I didn't meet them in person, are wonderful.

This was hands-down one of my all-time favorite AirBnB stays! Brad was awesome. Super helpful with instructions, came by and chatted with us and showed us all the little details about the boat, gave great local recommendations in Key West, and overall was such a unique pleasure to hang on a houseboat for the weekend. Got to see manatees right off the boat, took his kayaks for a spin, and enjoyed every second of our time! CANNOT recommend Brad's boat highly enough. Will definitely be back!
