What an absolutely delightful experience!! My husband and I planned a last minute weekend trip to Ricketts Glen to celebrate our anniversary and fortunately Bill’s place was available. He was extremely responsive, excellent communicator, and we were able to check in early before going on our hike. It really is as private, quiet, and serene as it says. I felt the stress melt from my body as soon as we pulled up the driveway and I saw the house. (I actually cried tears of joy and relief because this place truly is as described.) The view is breathtaking and the entire property, inside and out, is so well maintained, it’s clear they genuinely care and take pride in what they do. Spectacularly clean and super cozy inside. My husband enjoyed some popcorn and hot chocolate after our long hike at Ricketts Glen falls loop trail. The adjustable shower head was such a treat and this place has all the accommodations we needed for a fabulous weekend. It’s clear why this is a guest favorite. ☺️

Perfect little winter retreat. If you are looking for beautiful surroundings ( inside and out) and serenity... this is the place. We were passing through on a drive to spend the holiday with family so our stay was short but very sweet! Loved it here and it's even more fabulous than in the pictures. Also... Leslie was the best Airbnb host I've ever encountered!! We will be back!!!

For those concerned about the street noise, they provide individually packaged earplugs in the nightstand drawer - we didn’t need them, it didn’t bother us at all. The Drowsy Beaver Cabin was even better than expected. It is in a beautiful, secluded location on the lake. The cabin was spacious and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked, allowing us to cook most of our meals in the cabin. The bedrooms were nice sized with comfortable beds and the heated floors were such a nice extra (for this cooler weather in May). I loved all the outdoor seating options (while the sun was out) with the gorgeous rhododendron in bloom. I am so happy that we decided to stay here last minute. Also.... waterfalls and hiking were within a 30-minute drive. If this cabin is open for your dates, don't hesitate to book it!
