Waterfront vacation rentals in Somerset County

A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

Very convenient to the GAP for biking. We had a couple of minor issues, but these were addressed quickly. The beds were comfortable.

A great quiet, private and relaxing place

Echo everyone else's review. Beautiful place and extremely clean like described. This is the perfect place to spend your weekend in the laurel highlands area, so close to everything you'd need. Hearing the running water of the creek outside was a plus for us.

Carly and Robert's place was beyond my expectations. It was like walking into a storybook house in the woods with every welcoming vibe! This morning's light snowfall was the icing on top! The house was quaint, comfortable, updated with all amenities including the warmest pellet stove in the family room. The extra loft area was enjoyed by hubby reading and snoozing. Carly and Robert were very kind, professional, and responsive to any question we had. We can't wait to return to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. You won't regret this one!

Beautiful setting. Spacious home. We were short a sheet and comforter, Nicole responded and was at the house in under 10 minutes.

We were excited to stay at the Air B&B. The pictures did not do the place justice. When we arrived, the home was tastefully decorated for Christmas. The rooms on the lower level were perfect for the less mobile members of our group. The upstairs was wonderful with a large walk out balcony. The river views were beautiful. I can only imagine what this place looks like in the other seasons. We have been talking about doing just that. Everyone would love to meet up here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This little cottage was so cute! My family and I were in the Johnstown area for a wrestling tournament and although we didn't spend much time at the house, it was the perfect cozy retreat after long days!

I had the best time with my husband and my daughter. Fred's place is on the ski slope and I was very happy to look out at the trail all hours of the day and night. It was great to ski the morning, go in for lunch and ski until dinner.

The condo was cozy yet very spacious! Being able to walk right out the back door to the slopes was AMAZING! It snowed almost the whole time we were there so having personal garage access was a game changer. Will stay again in the future.

We had a great stay at Diana’s! Ours was a studio in a group of 5 or 6 Airbnbs across 2 houses very close together. Huge meandering deck with each unit having a private bit to themselves and a fantastic view. The studio was sparkling clean and looked brand new. It’s not large but arranged in a way that it felt bigger than it is. Make sure to take a walk through Confluence and soak up every detail of this small town. So calm and peaceful and everyone very nice. Coffee, art and pastry shop 1/2 away. If you need gluten free, a small grocery across from the park had a surprising huge number of items and the Rivers edge restaurant’s chef is gluten free. They worked with us to modify dishes on the menu to substitute gluten free items as needed. Diana was very helpful and friendly with quick responses to our questions and suggestions for places to eat. One of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Ohiopyle is the major tourist hub. Confluence is 10 mi away and a perfect break from the crowds.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy condo! It was very close to Hidden Valley Resort and was perfect for some time away to relax, do a little work, and sneak in some time at the end of the ski season. We especially loved the fireplace. Sarah was a responsive host and accommodated our request to extend our trip an extra day.

Excellent location, very close to the slopes. Our second time staying at Greta's place, and we really enjoyed our stay!

The condo was very nice and cozy. It was perfect for a weekend of skiing, being within walking distance of the slopes.
