Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Somerset County

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

This place was very convenient to the mountain with a lift nearby and it was very clean and incredibly spacious. David is very accommodating and helpful. We sorely missed having coffee available in the morning but really that was our fault for not bringing it as it was not advertised that there would be any I just assumed for the price there would be a little coffee. Overall though great stay and very nice place - thank you!

Donald is a wonderful host; kept in contact with us, and offered to provide anything we felt was lacking, which we felt was nothing. We were 'under the weather' when we arrived, having just completed a 4-day driving trip to get into town. We rested , relaxing in the cozy living room and on the front porch with its street-facing windows that let in much-desired warmth from the sun and provided a great place for watching the sunset. The kitchen was amply stocked with a variety of coffee and Coke products and water in the fridge. More than sufficient paper products and towels. Comfy beds that afforded an excellent night's rest for these weary travelers. We took advantage of the washer and dryer - and all supplies needed to do the laundry - for the next leg of our travels to PA. Our daughter lives in town and was able to come and have dinner with us in the ample kitchen with large dining table. Despite not feeling well, we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home right in wyman lake. Nice place is a really nice area. Check in was super easy and Amber was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you amber!

This is the 6th year in a row we have stayed here. we live 2 hours away but Greenville has always been our happy place. this cabin has been our tradition. there was way more than we expected. we had no idea there was a arcade game and darts in the game room or corn hole and ping pong out on the new rock slabs. the fire pit was renovated and its beautiful. we made smores. life is about spending time with family and making memories with your kids. woods all around is absolutely the perfect place to do that.

My stay was in between two large snow storms, and Arthur had the driveway plowed for us, and checked in on us during the stay.

This is one of the most beautiful Airbnb‘s. I have ever stayed at. The location is stunning. A river runs right behind the house and you can listen to it as you fall asleep. The sun comes in the afternoon and lights up everything. Tami is a great host Who will make everything right. The house is stocked better than pretty much any house I’ve ever rented. Highly recommend this home. It is a treasure.

This was my second time staying at Nancy's place, although it was a different unit. The place felt right at home. It has a cozy feel to it. The place is immaculate and equipped with everything you might need while you're away. The welcome treats were well appreciated. The bed is very comfortable. It's like staying at the Hilton but with more amenities, and that homie feeling. I highly recommend staying at Nancy's, regardless of the unit.

Katie was very responsive and her place was perfect for a ski trip. Has everything you need and perfect location to the mountain and lots of restaurants. Would definitely rent again!

Andy’s place was perfect! I stayed here for the Sugarloaf marathon - you can’t find a closer spot to the start line! Beautiful area with tons of trails right on the property. Quiet, peaceful, and very private. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend at On the River 2. Of course, the best part of our stay was our hostess, Miss Lucy. But Patricia made sure we had everything we needed - the kitchen was stocked with spices and implements, the Roku had all the apps we could want (bring your own sign-in), and the place was clean and beautiful. We’d love to come back and see Lucy again!

Great spot, less than half an hour from sugarloaf and considerably less expensive, very home away from home feel with everything you could need and more, very responsive and helpful hosts!

Wonderful stay at this ski in ski out condo, perfect for a long weekend. Super nice that it was dog friendly. Having access to ski locker was convenient. Had just what we needed in kitchen. Sofa bed was just ok, and I think an upgrade on the sheets would be welcome but those things are minor. We would love to stay here again and again.

Good location, easy access to the hill by either driving or shuttle. The condo was fine for our group of four. Kitchen had everything to cook for that many. Very comfortable. thanks

Stayed for over two months and did not want to leave. This space is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature. Everything was as described. The kitchen was well-appointed. The internet worked flawlessly the entire stay. Perfect for remote workers. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent condo for us before and after the Sugarloaf road race. It was very clean and welcoming. The hosts were attentive and proactive with information. We would absolutely stay here again!

The condo was very clean, charming and had everything we needed. The option to walk over to the lift and ski back into the neighborhood was excellent. We didn't use the shuttle, but noticed it stopped right next to the condo building at the expected times. This is our third stay in the area - once at the Inn and another time at a studio condo - and this is by far our favorite!

A family of four stayed in mid-April for spring skiing at Sugarloaf. Our arrival was late in the evening, and Dan was receptive and helpful in accessing the unit in the evening. The unit was clean and comfortable for a family of four. Sugarloaf was a short, three-minute walk away to the nearest lodge from the unit, and many of the restaurants/shops were still open. We cooked lunch and dinner one day, and the unit had everything we needed. Overall, we highly recommend this unit.

The place was perfectly located by the lifts, check in and out was super easy, the place its self was quaint and cozy. Would definitely stay again!
