Vacation rentals with lake access in Somerset County

Second time staying here and it was just as beautiful as I remember it. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Hope to be back again!

We stayed for two months while I was on a temporary work assignment in the area. Check-in was simple, any questions were quickly answered. We had no problems with anything during our stay; everything was exactly as anticipated from the description. We immediately loved the view of the lake from the front windows! The kitchen was perfect, and we felt right at home. I was working long shifts, and a quiet, peaceful location was important for me to get enough sleep--this place provided it exactly. We were able to watch the lake go from ice covered when we arrived to open water when we left. We saw robins and loons arrive, and heard them calling as they settled into their summer homes. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who enjoys a quiet lake setting.

My kids and I had an amazing time during our Labor Day weekend stay. The neighbors were so friendly and nice. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. A market nearby for quick things. Beautiful area, access to water was great. We even got to enjoy the Harmony Free Fair and fireworks! Great weekend thank you!

Very nice old time Maine home. Comfortable and homey. Serval nice places to sit and relax. Very comfortable beds. There is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor.

The house was clean and comfortable, and our hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating. We booked at the last minute, and we felt warmly welcomed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their home with us.

This is our 5th year at the lake house and it’s always a wonderful experience. Everything is clean, easy entry instructions, beautiful lake and dock. We look forward to visiting every summer, and are planning to book again next year!

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Robert’s place is amazing! If you’re looking for a place to feel at home, while away from home, then this is it! My brother & I are here for work & have stayed several different places so far we enjoyed staying with Robert so much, that we booked for another month.

Had a nice quiet stay in the mountains for a long weekend. Coco went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed including providing very detailed instructions for the house, local recommendations, and plenty kitchen/bathroom essentials.

Spotless! So many great details, they thought of everything. It was very organized, with many extras. Sam was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Monson and dinner at the Quarry, will be back!

Great place to stay near big Moose Mountain. This was our second time. Only recommendation was that if they use cleaners it was not as clean as the previous time we were there. Some of the blankets and throw pillows had dried food on them.

Spent quite a while here for work and saw winter turn to spring. What an amazing place to stay! Right on the water, great views, and it’s so peaceful. Thanks Craig for being so flexible! Everything was up to par and then some. I hope to come back in the summer sometime and enjoy it again!

Darcey was always responsive and honest about the cottage and location. The cottage was updated while still maintaining the rustic and original feel. All appliances worked and there were plenty of water craft to keep us occupied.

e had an amazing weekend at camp! The entire place was spotless — seriously, one of the cleanest camps we’ve stayed at. The location couldn’t be better — right on the lake with stunning views and easy access to the water. Whether you’re into kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing on the dock, it’s all right there. The beds were surprisingly comfy — we all slept like rocks. There were tons of games to keep everyone entertained, from board games to outdoor activities. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug and enjoy some quality time with family or friends. The only thing that was missing - a pizza cutter! All in all, highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun weekend escape. Can’t wait to come back!

My family of three had a great time at this camp. It’s a lovely remote getaway and nice spot for swimming, BBQing, camp fires and has a beautiful view of Borestone Mountain.

We had a wonderful stay at the Patten House. It is a treat to stay there and simply walk across the street for a fabulous meal at the Quarry Restaurant. Great place for exploring Monson and Greenville. We hope to return soon.

Leslie was very responsive and helpful before the trip. The place was even more beautiful than expected. The Google address leads to a few houses before, but the description of the driveway helped us find the right location. It was the perfect location to relax for the weekend.

Another perfect stay at what has come to be a home away from home for us. We've been coming here for years and are so grateful for the memories we make together in this little piece of paradise. Thank you, Chris, for always being an outstanding host.

We enjoyed our stay at Charlie’s perch very much. The cottage was comfortable with room to spread out. The deck overlooking Wesserunsett lake was so relaxing to hang out on, watching the birds- which were much more plentiful than boats. The quietude was so welcome. We look forward to returning some day.
