The cabin itself was clean, quiet and an amazing place for nature lovers. The trail on the farm itself is peaceful, and the nearby Algoma beachfront and Kewaunee nature trail are beautiful as well with a nice variety of wildlife, birds and plants. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again when we are in the area.

So grateful to stay at the Green Apple Lodge! We had a lovely stay. The location was private, very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was roomy and cozy with all the amenities, and perfect for a long weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike. Patty was a friendly and responsive host that did a great job with clear directions and instructions for the cabin. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing timber framed cabin, authentic construction. Right next to the water, peaceful during the day, skylights above the bed were so nice.

Not only was the cabin clean with friendly hosts, the decor really enhanced the “Up North” feeling with retro vibes. Whether relaxing by the fire, listening to some vinyl we picked up at an antique store on the turntable at the cabin, walking down the street to listen to the waves or checking out great restaurants nearby, the hosts helped share their favorite places and this beautiful space. It was a memorable stay and property!

We had a wonderful time staying in the cabin by the bay/lake in Gills Rock. There is a beautiful hiking spot just minutes from the cabin and it was a nice quiet neighborhood to do my morning walks while I waited for my husband to get motivated. 4 State Parks we visited in the area with Newport being the closest (less than 10 minutes I think) and a "Dark Sky Park" (aka Star Viewing) Everything was simple from check in to check out. There is no TV in the main bedroom (I am one of those people) but it worked out and we couldn't have been happier with this AirBnB for our anniversary. What a beautiful area. We prefer off season travel as apposed to overcrowding and Door County in April is great if you are in to the that. We felt like we had places all to ourselves. Would recommend this place for year-round travel. Thank you Gregg and Family for letting us stay in your cozy piece of history. Docs Hideaway in Gills Rock is awesome!

Fantastic place especially with a group. Boasting 10 real beds was a huge hit for us. Keep in mind the upstairs shower has a very low shower head but does detach and would be great for kids or a bath. The parking is great, the hose outside and the electrical outlets really are a nice touch. The best was probably the fire pit with tons of seating and the grill which while used worked perfectly

Maple Magic was a wonderful place to stay for my group of 5 adults. The kitchen was fully, I mean, fully equipped. There were real sheets on the beds! So many places use microfiber now and I am not a fan. It was definitely an elevated experience. Michelle was very clear in her communications and helpful. Sturgeon Bay is a great jumping off point for all that Door County has to offer. Enjoy!

We had a great sister-cousin weekend in Door County. We enjoyed having a place to catch up on each other’s lives. The location was close to restaurants and shops. It was a plus to have 2 full bathrooms for the 6 of us to get ready. Overall, a great place to stay for a group.

It was a nice place for our weekend trip. It is an older house with a nice remodel. The stairs are steep because it's old, but otherwise a great place.

one of the best host and home away from home. Super clean, equipped with all the necessary items, patio, garden, play area, games, books, TV etc. etc. you have everything in this place. Alison was very helpful and responded with 5-10 mins. I loved her house and already recommended it my friends.

We had a wonderful weekend here and this place far exceeded our expectations! Extremely clean, every amenity you could think of, extra supplies, peaceful atmosphere, and a very responsive host! We will definitely be staying again sometime.

Beautiful location and a charming little cottage- perfect little getaway we needed!

Had a great time at the home. Easy and clear communication, well taken care of, exactly as expected and pictured. We had 3 couples and a couple of kids and it fit perfectly with room to spare. We were there in the winter and found fun things to do there including having a wood stove fired Sauna delivered for a day to the driveway which made for great cold plunge action. Highly recommend.

Such a gem of a location and space. Adorable, rustic, and filled with charm. We absolutely loved our weekend at the cabin and the surroundings (and sunsets) were outstanding. The new mattresses also were a nice bonus. We hope to come back!

We loved this cabin! It was a minute walk from a little inland lake with a dock and it was amazing having a fire pit to use as well as canoes and kayaks! The cabin was warm and cozy. Would definitely come back.

Very cozy cabin on Lake Michigan. Eric was very communicative and very responsive to the one or two questions that we had. We enjoyed getting up early to sip coffee on the couch and watching the sun rise over Lake Michigan (it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor seating options.) The downtown and lake side park are all an easy 1 mile walk. We used this location to stay for 4 nights as our home base to explore the rest of the peninsula. We had lovely outings, but always looked forward to coming back to our cozy cabin home.

Freshwaters cottage was wonderful. The bay outside the big windows gave you great views of the sunrise and sunset. Plenty of windows allowed plenty of fresh air. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips

Don't sleep on renting this place - it's WONDERFUL! It's right on the water, so quiet and peaceful, and the home itself is perfect for a small group or family. It was clean, well appointed, and pleasant to be in inside and out. Brianne was easy to communicate with. Definitely five stars and worth a stay!
