Townhome vacation rentals in Shawnee Mission

Perfect spot for a quick trip to KC. Nice folks to communicate with and the place was very clean and had comfy beds. No complaints. Good location. Near Legends. Several restaurants right up and down the main road outside the place.

Shari’s townhome was the perfect space for my family of 5 (3 kiddos under 5). The designated children’s space was lovely and we all felt like we had enough room to breathe. KC was easy to get to, maybe only 20 minute drive away. There were great coffee shops closer too though!

My stay was great! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming—she even offered us food and invited us to church and other local spots. Very accommodating and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Esther was quick to respond and very kind hearted towards us. The accommodations were very clean, quiet, and the two beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a week over christmas 2024. The cabin was very nice and very clean. There were plenty of kitchen untinziles and dishes for cooking and baking which we used. The bedrooms were large a spacious. The entire cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire place with a glass of wine. I will say the beds are very firm so prepare yourself for that. Not a horrible thing if you prefer a very firm mattress. We highly recommend this stay and the hosts were very responsive. Thank you Kevin & Kellie

The townhouse worked very well for our family of 9 to spend time together in a ‘home away from home’. Kitchen was fully stocked with amenities (pots, pans, dishes) we used for cooking meals. Loved the oversized 8 person dining table that also had enough room for the high chair available in the property.

Hallie's place was perfect for our needs. We were in town to attend my nephew's graduation from KU. The house easily accommodated 5-6 of us and was centrally placed between KC & Lawrence. The house was absolutely spotless, the house information book was very thorough, the storage spaces were labeled which made for an easy & comfortable stay. Lot's of good restaurants & stores near by. The interior aspects of the property were as described, and clean. The bedding was good and importantly, they were quite comfortable. The appliance and TV operated effectively, as with the door locking mechanism. One coach could be replaced, as it shows wear. Overall, the process, place and communication were very good.

Nice lodging in an established neighborhood. Depending on GPS source there could be lots of intersections getting to the house. On the last day we found a straight shot. But the house was worth it. You did have to use the stairs a lot.

We had a fantastic time at Taylor’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and a great location. We loved the easy parking situation and how much space there was in the unit. It was surprisingly roomy! We had plenty of towels, bedding, and everything we needed for our stay.

The only “ding” I gave was on price because it cost a lot for one night. We’ve stayed in many and often much larger groups in highly desirable cities/areas for much less. However, because we were pretty desperate, supply/demand, just needed 1 night to host my family getting to be under 1 roof to celebrate graduation together, it was our only option. Considering it’s a duplex in a smaller town, seemed high. That said, it was great in every other way. Host was great, great place, clean, met our needs, easy to get to, it just was really perfect for us!!! We’re grateful to have found it and have truly a flawless experience!

Great location. Only a couple of blocks from numerous restaurants and bars, and close to the light rail which provided easy access to downtown. Kara was very communicative and accommodating. We really enjoyed the stay.

Everything was perfect! Very clean. Paula was very responsive when we had a question. Would definitely stay there again..

We loved our stay and will be back! Beautiful home in central location. We were in town for soccer and it is close to both major complexes.

Haven Escape was perfect for our weekend visit to the area! The shared living area, bedroom spaces and number of bathrooms allowed our large family to have the perfect amount of space to enjoy being together but also able to have quiet time for those who like an early bedtime or early morning coffee. The home was nicely furnished, with seating for groups, and most importantly there were comfortable mattresses and linens. The location was easy to find, convenient to shopping and restaurants and access to many highways. Thanks for providing a comfortable place for us to stay!

Fadoua's house was spotlessly clean and perfectly sized house for a larger group. The three bedrooms were a King, Double, and Twin. The Master/King has it's own bathroom, the other two bedrooms share a spacious Jack & Jill Bathroom. There is also a bathroom conveniently located on the first floor. We also appreciated the coffee and kitchen supplies that were on hand.

We were in town for our daughter’s graduation and stayed at Jesse’s place. The 6 of us had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Jesse was quick to reply to all our questions. We would stay again when in town.

Me and my boyfriend really enjoy staying this place, because of its location, cleanliness, quietness and responsive host. We had very nice and deep sleep, and we know it is quite hard to achieve during travel. If we came next time, we will choose this place again!

My family lives all over the country. We converged on Kansas City to celebrate the holidays. We were all able to stay here all together. The area was beautiful with a park right across the street. We walked to the plaza which was beautiful. Tons of shopping and restaurants. Would definitely come back again! We had a bit of a blip open arrival but Mike was extremely helpful and responded immediately until we were all set. Sometimes you learn more about a person or company when things don’t go perfectly.
