Langholmen private Island - with rowing boat

A whole island for yourself with a cute cabin for two people with the basic necessities and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. You can catch fish, spot eagles and sea-otters, watch the endless sunset and be directly in nature undisturbed by the modern world. A small rowing boat is included. Bed sheets upon request and extra fee. We are dependent of guests to clean out properly after their stay to welcoming next guests. Please respect. This traditional wooden house is an island retreat with 500m of Saimaa lake shoreline. Nearest neighbour 300m. Main building has 3 fireplaces, 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen, 2 living rooms and a bathroom. Sauna and guest house with additional 2 bedrooms are in separate buildings. Rowing boat with small motor and travel to/from island (700m) at start and end are included. Extras: Bedlinen & towels 20e pp. Bigger motor boat 50e daily + fuel. Box of wood per three days of stay included, extras 15e.

Cottage at Boholmsviken on the island Sävö

The cottage is beautifully situated close to the sea. Very basic standard. No running water nor electricity. Water is brought from Sävö farm where you can also charge your mobile. There is kitchenware such as cutlery, cups and plates and gas cooker. There is also a wood burning stove for heating. Bring your own sheets - there are mattresses, blankets and pillows. Sleeping bags are not allowed. List of the equipment on our web site savogard. You clean the cottage yourself before departure.
