Pros: - Great Location:The property is situated in an excellent location, making it easy to access local beaches and shops. - Access to Three Pools: Guests have the luxury of choosing from three nice pools, perfect for relaxation and fun. - Well-Stocked Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook meals during your stay. - Washer/Dryer: The availability of a washer and dryer, along with provided laundry pods, made it convenient to keep clothes clean. - Coffee Pods Included:Complimentary coffee pods were a nice touch, adding to the convenience of the stay. -Extra blankets: my kids love throw blankets. Cons: - Missing Pool and Beach Toys: The listing mentioned that pool and beach toys would be available , but they were not available. There were 2 rusty dirty beach chairs. - There is a spigot, but no hose. We really wanted to bring our dogs to the beach to play in the , we chose not to bc access to the hose was not ideal to clean them.

This beach cottage was perfect for a family with a toddler. Close to the beach and had all things needed for a wonderful time at the beach. Cute area and very peaceful.

High School teen describes it as, “good, beachy vibes”. A private balcony off the master bed with its own bathroom!! Each room with a large TV, each room has its own bathroom! Lots of space, right by the pool. Very quiet and right by the beach!! Just walk across the street!

Melanie’s place was delightful. It looked just like the pictures!! Definitely a pirates cave😊 and we enjoyed our nights. She was fast on responding and taking care of our needs. She also found some things that we had left behind and willingly asked to ship them. We would stay again. Thank you ☺️ again

We really enjoy the peace and quiet at Barefoot Cottages. Port St. Joe and Windmark Beach is our favorite place to visit in FL. Thank you William for sharing your beautiful home and your hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful and adorable cottage. Very comfortable and modern surroundings great decorating felt like at home. Love the cottage layout and so nice to have screened in porches.

Great location in PSJ. About 2 minute drive to the closest beach, 5 minutes from downtown PSJ with its shops and restaurants, and 50 feet from the community pool and hot tub. The house was exactly as described. Very clean, and Allie responded promptly to all our questions. Barefoot Cottages, the beaches, and many restaurants are all dog-friendly! We would stay here again.

This place is tranquil,relaxing and very quiet. The back yard is like an oasis. The beach was great. Not crowded at all. We even went to the public beaches on alligator point and they were not crowded. The only downside to the trip was the Yellow Flies. This however had nothing to do with Cindy, it was just the season. We found baby oil or deep woods off worked. Cindy was always responsive to any questions and she had everything for the guest from beach supplies and a wagon to pull it all with. She also supplied firewood if you want a fire. There is nothing touristy if you’re looking for excitement and crowds. I would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

Precious historic home with the sweetest neighbors! I really enjoyed getting to know the area as I was in town for some work.

It was a beautiful place, right on the bay. We had a little snafu with the AC on the first day, but they came right out that night and took care of it for us. The cottage has great character… old Florida with modern updates. We would stay here again.

This was my 3rd time staying at this charming cottage. From the wonderful “Old Florida” vibe to the cozy decor and the walkability to a waterfront park — love it! This time, there were also some cool walkable local businesses to check out — 2 antique/vintage shops and a coffee shop with amazing cinnamon rolls. Tricia is a very thoughtful host and terrific communicator — very friendly and knowledgeable. This is an ideal getaway destination if you enjoy small town peacefulness, cottagey charm, plentiful nature, and beaches.

I enjoyed my time at Phish Heads cottage. Having neighbors in the nearby cottages was just the right amount of social interaction; yet, the scenery and nature were the highlights. So nice to jump between bay fishing and beach fishing in a short walk. Not biting? Just walk over to the other side of the peninsula. Cottage was clean and bed comfortable. Kitchen could use some more utensils. It was nice to find a second key indoors, clearly labeled as an additional key. I think I’ll be returning to Scallop Cove Villas.

My wife and I appreciated the cozy private setting, quiet neighborhood, convenient location, and well maintained home. We'd recommend this host and this place to anyone traveling through the area.

We had a very relaxing stay! The unit was just as described. It’s very clean and beautifully decorated also the bed was super comfy. The beach is about a 3 minute walk. I loved that we had an outside hose to spray our sandy beach cart & gear off each day then we could pull them around back to the private patio to dry. We enjoyed driving to Port St. Joe to have dinner and walk downtown. Can’t wait to make another trip!!!!!

Cute cottage! Beth was super responsive and helpful! My family and I evacuated from hurricane Milton! We had to extend our stay and Beth responded within minutes and made the process so easy!

This coastal cottage is a hidden gem! Our family enjoyed our stay here in early March, great weather and few bugs. The location is off the beaten path, perfect for a stay-cation. We even saw lots of waterfowl, otters, and wild hogs from the back porch! Would stay here again!

Perfect peaceful private getaway. Super quaint lodging almost like a granny house. Perfect place to relax after a day of exploration. Great communication before and throughout our stay.

Susan's cottage is so cute!!! It's more spacious than the photos indicate, which was great, and the decor was so cute! The kitchen appliances are all updated and fancy, and Susan provides so many kitchen utensils and tools, which made Thanksgiving prep so easy. The cottage is secluded in clearing in the woods, and the host lives onsite right next door, but this wasn't a turn off to us at all. Super quick and easy trip to get into town and Susan was so so gracious when I accidentally booked for the wrong week and had to change my reservation. Thank you for hosting us!!!

Sarah was wonderful - a very good communicator, provided helpful information about restaurants, places to go etc. AND has one of the best stocked Airbnb rentals that I've ever stayed in. The cottage is perfect in terms of its floorplan, condition, location, and amenities. It's really ideal for people who like to paddle a very scenic river (Sarah's family has a canoe and you can rent kayaks at TNT rentals on the river), ride a bike path that goes from St. Marks to Tallahassee, visit the iconic Wakulla Springs Park and Lodge, and take out a half day charter out of St. Marks to catch Redfish, Speckled Trout, Cobia, etc.)
