Covington Vacation Rentals

Just booked in Covington

The Good: Located 2 miles from Downtown Cincinnati and even closer to Covington's Mainstrasse Entertainment District! Clean and Spacious! Conveniently Located right next to Kroger. Eclectic urban environment with a bus stop right outside the front door. Three HDTV's with a 50+ inch TV in the main living space! The Bad: Only one bathroom and Bedroom 1 must go through Bedroom 2 to get there or can use the butler's staircase if you do not want to disturb Bedroom 2.
This is a lower to middle class area as much of Covington is but it is safe and you can't beat the people watching!
  • There was no toilet paper in the home and we had left a sealed bag of food on the counter over night and when packing up the next morning discovered a mouse had ch we’d threw the bag and eaten some of the food.

This space is great! (separate/private) Lots of contemporary art on the walls. Lots of light. Close to everything: Walk ,shuttle, bike to Downtown Cincy, Newport, stadiums, concerts, convention centers, coffee houses, bars, and parks. Many multi-cultural restaurants are all close. Fantastic 3rd fl. view. 3 rooms with Kitchenette, no oven, Laundry room, Living room ,and Bathroom. Free Wi-Fi -Cable. Self serve continental breakfast.
  • 5 Stars! A classic, well-appointed home! We appreciated the décor, especially the fun, funky art on the walls. Conveniently located within walking distance (.5 miles) of the Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar and multiple restaurants. David provided us with many choices for snacks and continental breakfast, which we appreciated. One note for future visitors: The actual street name for this address and what shows on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps is different from the physical signage identifying the street. Check with David if you get confused (like we did.)

    Jo2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • I only saw David the day we left but he was nice and his apartment was amazing. The location was great, the apt super clean, and the Continental breakfast really nice. Also the art on the walls was a pleasure.

    Valerie2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our first venture into AirBNB was perfect. Check in and communication great. David was available but not intrusive. He has the place so funky and eccentric with all of the art work, you can skip the museum. Centrally located to all of Cincy especially the ricerfeont area of Cincy and Newport. Highly recommend David has thought of it all even snacks and stocked the fridge, we delt right at home.

    Nathan2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We would definitely stay with David again. His space is charming, clean, and in a great location.

    Suzanne2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • David was an amazing host with a beautiful home. It's within minutes of downtown Cincinnati, any type of shopping you could need, and the airport. The apartment itself is larger than pictures would have you believe. Beautiful handmade pieces of art, history, and comfortable accommodations. You will not be disappointed in the host or the apartment. Better than any hotel you could possibly get. I will be back with my podcast host and most certainly my wife or friends. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

    Jonathan2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Eccentric art and easy parking! David was flexible and super helpful. We really appreciated the extras he provided, like an extensive k-cup selection and lots of snacks!

    Megan2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Cute and artsy apartment. Great breakfast options. Shower was fantastic. Be prepared for lots of stairs up to the place. The cable went out when we stepped in certain spots on the floor.

    Rebecca2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Easy access location. Close to interstate and on the top floor so no one above you. Separate entrance for privacy. Lots of steps but awesome artsy place to stay.

  • The house is very nice

    xitong2017-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry and her husband were very accommodating for our one-night stay. Instructions were clear, we felt we could come and go as we pleased. We were able to self-check in with use of their lockbox, which is perfectly convienient for people who aren't planners. Sherry was up early to help serve coffee and breakfast which was a considerate gesture. Both Sherry and her co-host were very courteous and good conversation. Genuine people.

    Jessica2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • we enjoyed their lovely house and had a spacious bedroom and great breakfast. the hosts were gracious and helpful and we would have no qualms in recommending their house or in staying there again

    Bob2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry's place was delightful and attractive. The room and bath are well appointed and comfortable. Parking was convenient and the location worked perfectly for my plans. I would recommend it highly

    Debra2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 2nd stay at Sherry' s and we had an even better stay than our previous visit. The accommodations are top notch and bed is super comfortable! I had to work today so my husband hung out with Sherry's husband! The new flooring is cushy! You won't regret a stay here (even Bill, Sherry's husband can make a great pot of coffee). Sherry & Bill, I'm sure we will see you again soon!

    Brenda2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • We certainly enjoyed our stay with Sherry and Bill! They gave us a warm reception and were very accommodating. The house was immaculately clean and we really enjoyed Sherry's delicious breakfasts and times of conversation, too. We wish them both God's very best! Frank & Kathy

Immerse yourself in all that Cincinnati has to offer. This one-bedroom space is in the heart of Mainstrasse Village, an entertainment district in Covington that is home to over 20 restaurants and bars (for the beer lover, Cock and Bull has ~50 taps, and there are 3 Bourbon bars within 2 minute walk) and Braxton Brewery. Walk, take a Red Bike, or the Southbank Shuttle to downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine, Reds and Bengals games, Smale Riverfront Park, etc, etc. The possibilities are endless!
As close as I can tell, my house was built in the 1850's as a two family flat. I've found it on an 1877 Sandborn map, but the general understanding is that most of Pershing Street (which was Bremen Street until WWI) was developed in the 1850s and 60s. When I bought the place, the previous owners had converted it into a single family, which is how I have used it up until now. You will have the entire first floor which consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. As I mentioned in my profile, I'm an artist, so my decorating is a bit, quirky :). The bedroom has a queen size bed (with some funky LED lights if you're so inclined to turn them on), a small desk, a dresser, and half a closet (my winter coats are in the other half). The fireplace mantle in the room is beautiful....it's my favorite room in the house. The living room has a leather sectional couch with a recliner on one end. There is a fold-out bed, however the springs are old it's not very comfortable at this point. There's a flat screen TV with surround sound and an old console stereo....unfortunately the record player stopped working, but I bought a Crosley portable and hooked it into the old unit, and I leave a couple classic albums for your enjoyment (think the King of Pop and Neil Diamond). There are some books as well, and my full size cardboard Angelina Jolie (ask me how I got this....it's an interesting story). The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook, however there are so many great restaurants within a couple minute walk I'm not sure why you'd go to the trouble. Finally, the bathroom is, well....a bathroom. I have some original paintings in there that I've collected over the years. You also have access to the back yard, though you may be sharing it with me! I have a small fire pit, a grill, a small fish pond with no fish, a couple zero gravity chairs in the yard and a love seat and chair in the side sitting area. Additionally I have a small raised bed garden.....I only ask that you don't take the peppers. Anything else? Help yourself...especially the mint. Dear God....take some mint.
Mainstrasse Village is the best neighborhood in Greater Cincinnati. I love Over-the-Rhine, but it's becoming overdone. Lots of out-of-town investors opening new bars each week. Mainstrasse is very local. The restaurants and bars are owned by folks in and around the village. The neighborhood has as much history as OTR in a smaller, more concise package. We have the same caliber restaurants, cocktail bars, music venues, and art spaces, and accessibility to the whole spectrum of life. You can walk to Reds and Bengals games, the riverfront parks, etc etc. You'll see when you stay :)
  • Rob's place is exactly as described in the listing. Great place! I'll definitely stay again if available the next time I'm in town.

  • 5 Star place in great location. Rob makes the entire downstairs apartment available to you complete with bathroom, kitchen, living room, and comfortable bed. His home is in a magnificent location in Mainstrasse, walking distance to everything. Also is is just a short drive to all the Cincinnati attractions. My stay was excellent.

    Trace2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rob was a wonderful host, leaving a sweet note for us upon arrival. Check-in and parking was easy, and procedures very clear to follow for checkout. His place is a quick walk to restaurants, bars, etc. We did not have to move our car for the duration of our stay. We will definitely be back!

  • I stayed at Slanted House with two friends this weekend while we attended Oktoberfest at Mainstrasse Village. This place accommodates 3 people comfortably and was very convenient to Mainstrasse. Very clean, comfortable beds and well stocked. We had trouble finding parking with the festival going on but that was expected. Vicky was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

    Brandi2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful experience at the Slant House! Such a charming, well-equipped space, and the location was perfect. Also loved the fully stocked fridge and variety of snacks! Vicky made sure I had everything I needed. I'm definitely planning to stay here again the next time I'm in the Covington area.

  • A lovely place right in the heart of Covington. Everything is very walkable. Would definitely stay there again in the future!'s

  • These guys take hospitality to a whole new level!! The mojo of the place is fantastic, the attention to detail is very much appreciated and I loved how close this was to the Mainstrasse restaurants. They are very thoughtful people and I don't think you can go wrong staying here. If you are noise sensitive, you can hear people above you, but it didn't bother me at all.

    Ruth2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the location. Very relaxing & quiet. Lots of snacks provided. Alexa wired house was very cool & lots of fun. Amenities were on point. Back patio was nice area to chill. Highly recommend. So close to Cincy!

    Andrea2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Vicky was very accommodating and absolutely wonderful with any communication. We had booked the place on late notice and when we arrived everything was perfect. The place was beautifully located to downtown Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, even some places within walking distance! There was also plenty of cooking utensils, appliances, and everything else you would need for a comfortable stay. 10/10 recommend Vicky for your stay!

    Devon2017-08-13T00:00:00Z

Please read this closely. I have a different ad for the 2 bedrooms, but I put my everything into being clean THIS AD IS DIFFERENT. I take breaks to reclean everything an I also have my days with my kids. So it leaves the rooms empty. & if my daughter stays- the downstairs fold outs Are open. Just Send a request if it's not available an I will see if there's room. This ad is only for very late check in an super early check out. Please remember this is my off days. It's just to sleep an go. :)
80% sure the upstairs bedrooms will be available. If not you will have the downstairs futon couch fold down chair, and airmat. I work hard for good feedback an also I love this. I want everyone happy. The rooms are not large but you are welcome to stay downstairs there is a flat screen an dvd, Roku & movies an it's big an roomy. I go to bed early and get up early. So I usually send a text if you sleep past check out. :^/ Personal Experiences :( This is late check in an early check out....☆☆ Please don't show up at 5 pm an camp on my front porch an ask to stay the whole next day. I am truly a great hearted person but please don't take advantage of the low price. Secondly I recieved low feedback from 2 people on this ad because the bedrooms were not available. Please ask me before you book if you plan to write it into my feedback. Even though this ad states the rooms upstairs may not be available. ..I still got low scores. This Makes me sad. I think to close this ad, but then I have people that really need a place to crash and I do want to help. So I ask don't leave me feedback if you are going to ruin this ad for people that really need it. Please. If you need the room for more time please see my other ad
Good neighborhood I stay to myself as does most everyone. I just moved here so..I am the newbie. :( So please be respectful an do not do anything crazy that will cause us to have a hard time with neighbors. Like camping on my door for 4 hrs. Check in is 9. Or later ;)
  • One word .... awesome !!

    Deiman2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Tracy was an excellent host and an inspiring person. I am glad that I stayed with her. Her place is well situated across the river from Cincinnati and a peaceful place.

    Ron2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Due to a very last minute change of plans, I did not end up staying at Tracy's. She was wonderful though from the moment I booked to the moment I canceled. She was communicative, funny, kind and I was genuinely sad that I didn't get to meet her - she seemed like an awesome person! She even went above and beyond to set up some candles in the room because she knew it was a special weekend. I can't imagine you'd go wrong working with Tracy! She'll treat you very well and you'll be lucky to meet her

    Mandi2017-09-23T00:00:00Z

Our place is close to public transport, nightlife, family-friendly activities, right by the river, walking distance restaurants, near by cincinnati downtown area and newport on the levee. You’ll love the convenience of the location. The bus stop is right in front of the house, which can take you straight to downtown or newport on the levee (movie theater, restaurant, aquarium, restaurants, shopping, comedy club and more...). Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
Our space is pet friendly; you're welcome to bring your pet with ya. From our house, you can literally see the river and downtown Cincinnati. There are parades that pass by our house around the holidays, and you can definitely see the fireworks from our front porch. In the room, we have a queen size memory foam bed. There're AC in the house, but we also have an portable electric fan for those who like it cooler in the room. And of course, we have fresh sheets and towels for you.
We are located in an "up-coming" neighborhood. There' re small shops, local brewery, bars, awesome home made ice cream store, the party source store, which sells international beer and wine. UDF gas station is right across the street. Very convenience.
  • As described. Value for money stay in a great location.

  • It was all that I expected! Great bathroom ! Toilet and shower was perfect.

    Chris 2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • I was concerned most about the fact that no key was issued, and that the front door was said to always be open. I can't see any reason not to lock a house up, especially at night. Other than that, apart from strong canine odors that were attempted to be masked by chemical sprays but instead were compounded, the stay was not terrible, just a little uncomfortable.

    Jim2017-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts! Thanks.

    Debra2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • The host is super nice, we had a nice discussion and would definitively go back there if I came back to Cincinnati.

  • A nice place well worth the money. Hong and Le helped me pick up my rental car, lend me a gps and gave me information about the neighbourhood and Cincinnati. Get the shuttle ($1) to downtown and a daypass ($2) on the tram and you are ready to explore.

  • Great place to stay for the night. Just needed somewhere to crash for the night. Hong gave us answers on what do in the area, and theres plenty to walk to. You can even walk to the Newport Aquarium area!

    Eldon2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • The room and bed is fair for the value. Hong and Le were so nice and accommodating with our car and parking. Le was also great with my dog.

My apartment is close to Downtown Cincinnati -- less than a 15-minute walk to downtown. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood and the privacy of the apartment -- the whole third floor of the house is yours! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The apartment boasts not only a large bedroom with a queen-sized bed, but also a private bath, living room and kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge and free in-unit laundry facilities.
The neighborhood is very close to the city for activities and is adjacent to one of the nicest parks in the city -- a perfect place to kick back and relax.
  • These guys have created a wonderful abode of rest that is convenient and clean. The third floor apartment has a mini-kitchen that allowed me to get much work done and create simple meals during my down time. Travis was traveling so we did not meet, but his partner David was exceptionally hospitable. I very much look forward to my next visit to Cincinnati!

  • looked to be very close to many things either in Cincinnati, Covington or even Newport! Street parking was convenient. Owner was very friendly. I was able to get a ride to my event from family going and then just took a Lyft back home... great option to stay south of the river especially with all the congestion due to interstate work going on too!

  • Lois was a great host. She is very personable and our communications were clear and prompt. The house is beautiful her pets are super friendly (the loveliest cat and little dog that I have ever seen. The rooms are furnished in a very nice tasteful way and the place is spotless clean and smells fresh all the time. The internet was fast and cable TV was a nice bonus. Lois checked on us often to make sure that we are comfortable and don’t need anything. We were welcomed to use the outdoor seating in the backyard but did not have the time to enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The river is so close by, which allows for very enjoyable walks in all hours of the day. Nice cafes and restaurants are also nearby, which made our stay even more comfortable. We definitely would go back when we’re in town. Thank you Lois for sharing your lovely home with us and for being such a gracious host.

We attempted this already and got some random people that tried to ruin it by not sticking with check in an check out times. by leaving feedback saying we didn't provide blankets...which we did VERY Sad an totally not true. And all this in the name of trying to help by offering a low price an safe place. So Please if we forget something just ask, we will get it immediately! • Great place! Big room. Clifford is a great host. Very friendly. Would recommend!

    William2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Clifford is a wonderful man, and it was a pleasure to meet him. His attention to detail, as evidenced by the outstanding guide to his home and Cincinnati in general that he provides to his guests, and the small labels he places on switches in the living area so that you know what switch does what, is exceptional. He has a beautiful new townhome on a block of beautiful new townhomes. This was our only problem/concern, but it was significant--a deal breaker. Clifford's home is beautiful and clean and his attention to detail (as evidenced by the guide he provides his guests) is exceptional. The problem--the only problem--is that the neighborhood and area surrounding his block is suspect and, per the Cincinnati police department, unsafe. We were advised not to leave our vehicle out overnight (with no other option) or else it would almost certainly be broken into. We were driving our 2001 Mercury villager van from California to Massachusetts, where our son is going to play hockey, and we had about six or seven months worth of living supplies in the van. I would love to have stayed at his home, but the risk of losing my family's belongings was simply not worth it.

    Scott2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Cliff was a great host and has a fantastic property. It is centrally located in the city and very easy to get around. Cliff not only makes you feel right at home, but he also is very knowledgeable about the area and can give you some great tips if you have questions of what to do. I will definitely book again if back in the area.

    Matthew2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Cliffods place is great. The room is really pretty, clean and spacious. The communication regarding check-in was as smooth as can be, the message exchange was quick and all necessary information was included. There is a parking space for the car and a bus stop very close to the place to take you to down town. This is great value for the money and the host is very nice and respectfull. I strongly recommend!

This property is priced right, close to bus line and other transportation.. Minutes from Cincinnati and close to airport.
Neighborhood is urban setting. In the process of revitalization. Host purchased this building and has done complete remodel in an effort to support revitalization. And will continue to improve property outside.
  • Tyra is very detailed and was very friendly to airbnb first timers. Loved the artsy decor. Lot's of room and very homey feel. Excellent place to stay for doing anything close to the river. It was extra nice not having to drive home after our rain delayed Reds game. Thanks again for answering all our questions. We would love to stay again!

    Jeff2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Tyra was an amazing host. At the last minute we decided to spend the. Igor in the area, and she responded quickly, thank you! Tyra's place is centrally located, and very clean! Her apartment accommodated our party which consisted of my husband and I, our three children, and a friend! We would highly recommend Tyra's apartment to anyone in the area.

    Orlando & Michelle2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tyra goes above and beyond what I expect from an airbnb. First and foremost, the communication was outstanding. I didn't have to solicit anything, she was on top of it all, anticipating everything I might need to know. Her experience and warmth as a host was evident. My group of 3 was in town for a concert at Riverbend (about 8-miles away). She arranged to meet me at my convenience for check-in, gave a detailed tour, and even recommendations for transportation. The bnb is exactly as described, yet felt more spacious than the photos conveyed. The remodel is nice, especially the bathroom. The main bed in the master bedroom was superbly comfortable. The kitchen cabinets were stocked with some complimentary food and there was fresh lemonade in the fridge! My group really appreciated the gesture. (I enhanced its refreshment level with a nip of Tequila) The bathroom was stocked with various toiletries like Listerine, soaps, and hand lotions, etc. The living room is a nice setup, we played some cards on the table and listened to music, didn't even need to turn on the ample sized TV. As you can see from the picture the couch is wide and comfy. I could see this being a great place to stay with kids. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough for a weekend getaway due to it's proximity to Covington, Newport, and Cincy. Tyra's place was just what the doctor ordered. PS loved the art work

  • This place is a gem. One of the best hosts I've every had. Tyra was responsive and very welcoming. The apartment was roomier than expected and much nicer than first appearances. The location was really convenient. We were in town for a wedding and the apartment was less than a 10 minute drive to the downtown church and just a few minutes away from the reception in Covington.

    Janine2017-04-23T00:00:00Z

  • The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a mini-fridge in the room as well. I was in Cincinnati to attend a conference. The walk to downtown was safe and beautiful and it would have been very easy to go see a football or baseball game. The location is excellent. I was also pleasantly surprised by how many great places there were to eat and drink in Covington, all within walking distance. Taylor also provided a helpful list of recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Great hosts!! My girlfriend and i went to a Cubs game against the Reds for my birthday. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for this trip. The location was great, the neighborhood was great and the room is as described. The room is literally a walk across a bridge atop the Ohio river! The views were great after crossing over to Cincinnati, where you immediately see the Bengals football stadium and the Reds ballpark. I love all sports so its like heaven for me!! Didn't get to meet Taylor but ran into her husband on my way out as i only stayed one day. But she did send me a "guide" for the Cincinnati and Covington area that was helpful. I tried one place she suggested, Smoke Justis in Covington, which is just as close as the ballpark. The smoked wings she suggested were great and it was wing wednesday so it was even better!! I loved this place, top to bottom! And the Cubs won! 2016 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!! ️

Our quiet 2 bedroom house, is a block away from shops, restaurants and pubs in the village. You can walk (about 2 miles), use a Red Bike or take a shuttle across the river to Newport or downtown Cincinnati for entertainment, sports, conventions and great food.
Our 2 bedroom cottage is quiet, and yet steps away from restaurants and nightlife. We have an enclosed 3 season side porch, and also a small backyard. You will have information and menus for the various places around town, once you arrive.
Our German Mainstrasse village is somewhat quaint and very inviting. In the summer, there is a lot of outdoor seating at the restaurants and bars, with music most nights at the bars. There are several restaurants, pubs and bars. If you're here to watch sports, you've come to a great place. Most bars have a lot of TVs, and a lot of sports fans! There is a local coffee shop on Main St. that delivers breakfast for $3. Starbucks is a few blocks away. The areas around Mainstrasse are Roebling Point, Pike Street and Madison Ave, Newport, and Downtown Cincinnati. All are within walking distance. Cincinnati is right across the bridge, and Newport is about 2 miles to the East. If you're here to see the Reds or Bengals, or a concert at US Bank, our transportation system will get you there quickly, or you can easily walk, Red Bike, Uber or take a taxi. You can go across the Main St. Bridge, or the Roebling Suspension Bridge, which The Brooklyn Bridge was designed after. We will list all of the restaurants, breweries, music venues, and sightseeing points of interest in our Welcome Book. Cincinnati is known for it's breweries in OTR: Rhinegeist, Christian Moerlein, Taft Ale House, but Covington has it's own amazing brewery - Braxton Brewery. It's a very short walk from the house, with a multitude of restaurants around there. Getting onto their website www.braxtonbrewing.com will show the events happening with them. There is usually something going on there. Goebel Park is right down the street with a Clock Tower that puts on an hourly music display of the Pied Piper. It plays from April through October. There is also a playground for children. Devou Park is very close and has hiking trails and a beautiful view of the city. Just let us know what you are interested in doing or seeing, and we can help you do that.
  • The house was great. It is on a perfect location. Donna thought of everything when preparing the house for guests. She was helpful when we needed her for with questions. I could not be happier and can't wait to return. We come to this area every year for our daughters dance competition but actually discussed coming her for a getaway long weekend. The area has so much to offer that we would love to explore. It was a great weekend and I can't say enough positive things about Donna the host and the house A++++

  • Donna and Jim were the perfect hosts. From the spotless cleanliness of the property to the lovely decorating in and around the property it was the perfect home away from home. There were some unexpected normal maintenance issues during our visit and they were remediate immediately. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient alternative in the greater Cincinnati area.

This is a beautiful quite private room, Queen bed, a futon, and enough room for three Air Beds ( 2-6 guests)! You will have access to two showers and a fab steam room. The Fuel Lounge OTR is here at the BunkHaus (open Thursday thru Saturday 9PM-1AM and for special events) and is Cincinnati's first non-profit bar. Come check us out and Welcome to OTR!
The pics speak loud, its a beautiful room in the back of the Haus and on the second floor.
OTR has crazy good places and people!
  • The BunkHaus is a great, eclectic spot in OTR close enough to walk to restaurants (Ché, Nation, Taste of Belgium), nightlife (16 Bit Bar+Arcade, Rhinegiest) and even downtown! Susan is a welcoming host who runs a bar downstairs and is always just a text or phonecall away. The blue room has a ton of space and could easily accommodate more than a couple people. I would definitely recommend the BunkHaus to anyone considering an adventurous stay in OTR!

  • Nice place with a lot of charm. Highly recommend!

  • I had a great stay at the Bunkhaus. Susan was very communicative from start to finish and really made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was huge and very cool! I would definitely recommend this place for an artsy and economical downtown stay.

  • Great place. Great host. Comfortable rooms. Will stay again if ever not booked!

  • Fun, clean, and quirky place to stay near a lot of N. Main St. entertainment options. Would definitely stay there again.

  • +1 Recommend! Susan's Bunk Haus offered much more than the comfortable beds. She was friendly and welcoming, and so is the environment she has created. The room was exactly as pictured, wifi was fast, and the key code door lock was secure. I also had the pleasure of meeting a fellow traveler, from Germany, in the common area downstairs. The shower water pressure was not the best, but I've had worse. I was surprised that the bathrooms were shared (there are multiple rental units in the building), but I never had to wait, so it was fine. Note: the BH is in a great walkable neighborhood, with local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby. I much prefer this over a hotel in the "business district" where the restaurants are overpriced tourist traps. And it undoubtedly saved us cab fare and expensive nightly parking by staying here. I felt perfectly safe, and I prefer this type of area, but I understand this might not be for everyone.

Close to downtown Cincinnati with easy access to shuttles, or if you're up to it, a walk or ride one of my bikes. Very close to Newport on the Levee and the wonderful shops and restaurants of Bellevue. For a relaxing evening, sit in the back and catch the view of downtown and if your lucky, fireworks! This listing is now updated to a private floor including 2 rooms, 2 beds or 1 bed, 1 couch and private bath. So relax and enjoy your time in the Queen City. Please note: I do live in the home.
If you want the closest thing to the comfort of your own home, this is it! The warm red pine floors coupled with the airy, open rooms brings a relaxing feel to this nearly 100 year old home.
  • Our stay at Susan's place was wonderful! We were in town for Cincinnati Reds baseball game and Zinzinnati Oktoberfest. Despite being across the river, this place was super convenient for a downtown Cincinnati trip. The $1 each way Southbend Trolley was easy and very close by. Susan was also very welcoming and hospitable. It felt like staying with one of your sweet aunts. We are normally hesitant to stay in private rooms within a shared common space (as opposed to an entire place), but the private area was spacious and homey. Our stay was topped off by fresh brewed coffee, fruit/pastry offerings, and pleasant conversation and squirrel watching with Susan.

    Jessica2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was a wonderful host! She was fast to communicate and very knowledgeable about the area. I would stay with her again in a heart beat!

  • Susan is great. Everything was as I expected and she went out of her way to accommodate me when I had a late arrival time. Enjoyed our morning coffee chat and the to go cup! Easy drive to RiverBend Music Center and most in Cincy.

  • Susan was a thoughtful hostess. We had never stayed in a shared space before and were a little nervous. We had a lovely visit and Susan made us feel right at home! She was kind, highly knowledgeable, and provided great advice. Would highly recommend.

    Amber2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place was fantastic. Spacious bedroom area upstairs with comfortable beds. Convenient location walking distance to downtown Newport and the concert venue we were attending. Susan was a cheerful and communicative host who even left coffee and croissants in the morning! Really lovely.

    Alexei2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was a great communicator. Her home is in a lovely historic district. She went over and above. Everything was neat and clean, beautiful view of downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Very friendly and accommodating. Quiet, clean rooms and linens. Beds were very comfortable and perfect for my friend and I to get some rest on our travels. Susan is great to talk to and shared interesting stories! The breakfast layout with pastries was awesome with coffee to go! I love the original woodwork and craftsmanship of the home.

Large 2 bedroom 1st floor flat with appliances & furnishings including 3 real beds & 2 couch-beds can potentially sleep 12 guests! 2 Flat screen TVs (60" and 39") both with cable, Netflix, Hulu, HBO & Showtime on demand, Amazon Prime Video, DVD players, and 2nd bedroom has an Xbox One S with Minecraft. Apartment is about 15 min walk from UC main campus, 15 min walk to OTR bar district, and 30 min walk to central downtown Cincinnati. Lots of FREE on street parking.
Very convenient location on a street dominated by homeowners. Historic outside with a modern newly renovated inside. Many guests are impressed by the amount of space the apartment provides.
It's a quite street, but if you want the noise, you don't have to go far. You can here the church bells ring every hour if windows are open, but you may also hear the parties on vine street if it's Friday or Saturday night. Cincinnati is a large city with a metro area of about 3 million metro residences. My neighborhood is an urban neighborhood with many old historic buildings right near the heart of the city. The street is very safe with friendly neighbors that own their own homes. If you are from the Detroit metro area, you need to remember that Cincinnati is nothing like Detroit. I have a lot of you guys come down and are very confused about urban neighborhoods. Older historic urban neighborhoods here are much safer than in Detroit, and to compare a middle class Cincinnati urban neighborhood to whatever it is your scared of up there is frankly insulting. In the 6 years that I have lived here, no one I know of has ever had any issues of any kind with any form of crime. (No refunds just because someone doesn't like the neighborhood.)
  • Dirk's house was perfect for my needs. The place is large, clean and has all the amenities I could hope for. The area might be a bit sketchy for couples and families. But perfect if you're a student or traveling on business. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay here.

    Assaf2016-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Dirk was very accommodating, even to the point of running out to get a coffee pot on a holiday weekend!! The place is furnished in shabby-Asian-chic, very comfortable. It is an easy drive to either downtown or places like the university or zoo. This is on a steep hill and narrow road so take the curves slowly, folks!

    Cynthia2015-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The host made arrangements for our arrival which simplified the process and made us feel welcome which we appreciated. THey continued to be responsive throughout our stay. Overall the place was fine for our needs but it could use a little sprucing up. I was travelling with a buddy so we could overlook a few short-comings. Had I been with my wife it likely would have been a different story. The neighbourhood is 'in transition' and again my perceptions and experience might have been different if I had been travelling with my wife and or family. The beds were comfortable and it was a good place to crash after a busy day on our feet. It was relatively inexpensive too so I have to temper my expectations

    Ian2015-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Dirk was very helpful with recommendations for places to go and things to do. The apartment was very nice and clean however he neighborhood was not quite what we were expecting.

    courtney2015-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Place was clean - location was very convenient, and Dirk picked me up from the airport at 11pm at night ! - which was super helpful not knowing the city at all. Overall super smooth experience and worked out for me great.

    Yasushi2015-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and roomy apartment, clean and renovated. Nice area within walking distance of local attractions and bars. Dirk was an awesome host, very welcoming and accommodating of our needs. I did like the shower head that changed colors! This was my first Airbnb experience and it was a good one! Would stay with him again if I'm back in the area.

    Dima2015-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome experience. Dirk was a very flexible & accommodating host.

    Camden2016-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • I have to say Dirk is the best host I've ever see, and the place is in a good location in Cincinnati. I will choose Dirk's place again if I need to come to there another time!

Minutes from Downtown Cincinnati! Walk, bus, bike.... Chic 3 room private apartment, conveniently located to Mainstrasse Village, off street parking. This amazing space doubles as an art gallery and a B&B! Experience this one-of-a-kind getaway!
The space is a single private apartment that also functions as an art gallery. PIQUE art experience space hosts 6 major exhibitions a year and often many pop up exhibitions and performances inbetween. PIQUE strives to showcase a hearty mix of local artists to the greater Cincinnati area and artists from around the US and abroad. If you are curious about what artwork will be on display during the time of your stay you can check out PIQUE facebook*com/piquesocialmedia/ or PIQUEwebsite*com. You can also ask us through inquiry and we would be happy to tell you about it! Your stay helps to support the art community in the Northern KY/Cincinnati OH area! There is also a small gift shop of hand made items like art/jewelry/crafts etc by artists being exhibited and other artists connected to PIQUE in the kitchen. Also, We are right next store to a Bulgarian Crepe restaurant that serves coffee and espresso.
Covington is a quaint historical town, with a dedicated art scene. There are many unique restaurants and bars especially on Main st and Madison and Braxton Brewery on Pike. The next town over, in Newport, has a movie theater and aquarium. Cincinnati is just a few minutes away where you can see sports teams, theater, art museums and very close to the newly developed OTR. There is close access to "red bikes" which you can rent and if you walk across the historic Roebling Bridge there is quick access to the Cincinnati Street car.
  • I actually booked this for my daughter, a college student who needed a place to stay for a few days while her internship ended. She loved the place - very hip behind an art studio - and the off-street covered parking was also appreciated. The place was great - I don't have any details but she had nothing but good things to say. On my side, I'll say that Kathryn was very easy to work with and quick to respond.

  • Great place to stay. Very unique and VERY nice!

    Dan2016-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay at a unique place. Lindsey and Clint had great communication and the place was clean and ready for us. They had snacks, toiletries, brochures, and food for breakfast. They also gave us info on the current exhibit in the gallery. Very good experience!

    Shawn2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey and Clint were great and easy to communicate with! They even offered to have the space ready a little early for us. We loved the unique and clean gallery space. It's not everyday you get the chance to stay in an art gallery. We really enjoyed our stay!

    nora2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey was very accommodating; even though she had an emergency to deal with during our stay, she made sure we were well taken care of and all our needs met. The space is awesome and it was definitely a unique experience to stay there. Places like Pique are the reason we love Airbnb.

    Ross2016-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication and an enthusiastic welcome (with tour). The place with stocked with conveniences, had a great location, and an incredible unique appeal to it. We loved the whole experience, and plan on coming back to stay at Pique the next time we travel to the greater Cincinnati area for whatever reason.

    Rob2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Pique Gallery was a one-of-a-kind experience that I would recommend to everyone! Lindsey and Clint are fun, gracious, thoughtful (mints on the pillow! Toiletries for when you forget your shampoo!), and know the best places around town. Artists themselves, their touch is evident in the gallery and gift shop, which is whimsical and welcoming. I felt as if I were staying someplace very magical and it was the perfect retreat after my busy work conference. Thanks to you both, I look forward to coming back and staying again!

    Gina2016-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey and Clint were incredibly hospitable hosts! In fact, when we had left several items behind, they drove to meet us at the airport to be sure we could take our stuff home. The unit is clean and very spacious, and being a comic book aficionado, I especially appreciated Clint's all original art and story comic books, and happily brought some home with me!

Private room in a 3,500 square foot loft in the hip OTR neighborhood in downtown Cincinnati. You will be staying in a perfect location as the loft is located just 1 block from Washington Park and just a couple blocks from restaurants, bars, shopping and more! Streetcar stop is only one block away for public transportation. Parking is one block away in a secured public garage. This is a private room only not the entire loft.
Bedroom features queen bed. Towels and sheets will be provided. This is a very open loft concept space. Although the room is private it is adjoining to the other bedrooms and has an open ceiling that goes with the loft type design. The room has its own window air conditioner to keep it cold in the summer. This loft is best for guests looking to explore the city and just needing a place to sleep. Couples looking for a "romantic getaway" may prefer to rent an entire space for more privacy.
Over-the-Rhine (OTR) is the largest, most intact urban historic district in the United States. The historic neighborhood contains the largest collection of Italianate architecture in the country, and its Brewery District has more pre-Prohibition breweries than anywhere else in the world. Findlay Market is one of the oldest continuously operated public markets in the country. The Gateway Quarter, Washington Park, and Main Street neighborhoods have a vast amount of restaurants, bars, shopping, and arts galleries. OTR is located in downtown Cincinnati.
  • Tracey was an excellent host! She had my room all set up for me on my arrival and made arrangements for me to enter her loft even though she was away at the time. She also gave me great recommendations for places to eat and drink while visiting. Her place is incredible too! Absolutely huge, full of character, and really close to OTR. I'd highly recommend staying with Tracey if you're ever in Cincinnati!

  • Very spacious house. Nice decor. The AC in the room is a bit strong and noisy but Tracey was very nice in solving this problem. :)

  • Tracy's place was great! The location was awesome and the bedroom was sweet! She is very accommodating and friendly! Definitely recommend!

  • Tracey was a great host! She was awesome about making sure we knew where everything was and that we had everything we needed. The space was beautiful and clean. The temperature was great inside even though it was hot outside.

    Martin2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome, as is Tracey! She offered several suggestions for interesting places to check out nearby, all of which were within a very short walk. A huge plus - you are right next to a police station with walking patrols, so my sister and I felt very safe walking around at night.

    Bethany2017-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Tracey's place was fantastic! She had good communication and the location was absolutely fantastic! We stayed there one night after celebrating their Zinzinatti Oktoberfest. I didn't get the entire check in message, so was a little delay in the entry but just walked around this charming area until I received the details. It's a charming and spacious loft, with fun decorations. The red wall piece was fun to gaze at and pick out the characters. I would absolutely stay there again.

    Heather2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Really cool loft apartment in a great location. Walking distance to downtown. Tracey was great and gave us some personalized recommendations of places to visit that we would have missed otherwise.

Walking distance to downtown Cincinnati, Newport on the Levee, and MainStrasse in Covington. Beautiful area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Easy access to I-71/I-75 and I-275. 15 minutes from the airport. Besides being in a great location, the building is historical and full of charm. The rooms have lots of tall windows and high ceiling which creates a feeling of space while keeping the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • Our host made us feel very welcome! We were first time Airbnb users and Marta made us feel very comfortable for our first experience. Her home was very nice and in a nice neighborhood. We stayed at her place because we were attending the Cincinnati Bengals game so we walked several time back and forth between her home and Cincinnati. We felt very safe in her neighborhood and would be delighted to stay there again the next time we attend a game. Our host was very sweet! She greeted us when we arrived and told us everything we needed to know about her home and the area (all the great restaurants around!). -Would highly recommend!

    kelly2016-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • I came to Covington for the purpose of attending a Reds game. The location was terrific. Just a short walk across the Roebling Bridge to the stadium. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. I slept like a baby. The neighborhood was nice and charming. I really liked it.

  • Charming house in a beautiful location. Cannot as for much more than the wonderful service offered.

    Nicholas2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Marta's place is wonderful, as she is. She communicated with me two days before our arrival, and we had a nice conversation so that checking in later in the evening was easy. Her place is beautiful, and she had cups set up when we arrived, ready for us to have tea if we wished. She knows the area well and can answer questions about restaurants, things to do, and ways to get around. She also let us use the street-parking tag to leave our car there the day we left so we could enjoy the city. Highest recommendation.

    Shelley2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • The house was on a great street, just blocks away from a really great district of Covington. The host was very welcoming, and the room was good.

  • An incredible weekend getaway! Mark's two-story guest house provided a private, romantic experience with a twist of adventure. My girlfriend and I were immediately blown away by the modern/rustic design of the guest house and the grounds. Artwork abounds and the property's 17-acres offer little gems at almost every turn. The guest house loft is especially compelling with a dramatic view over the living room and fireplace. Mark went the extra mile to make our stay special. The bathroom was fully stocked with high-end products, the kitchen had smoothies and fruit in the fridge and Mark even went so far as to leave us a small bottle of champaign. We highly recommend Mark's guest house and would love to return!

    Alex2016-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Mark was a great host. We sat outside one evening and he told me all about the history of the house and guest house along with the vineyard, very interesting. He was very quick to respond if I needed anything (accidentally locked myself out one morning when walking the dog) and he came right over with the spare key. The guest house was so beautiful and quiet (the way a house gets when the power is out kind of quiet) and it was the perfect place for a retreat with my dog. Would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to some friends.

    Lee Ann2016-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay here. Mark and his wife are kind and the house is peaceful and magical. Xo

    Mae2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • I could not have enjoyed my stay more. Between the peaceful surroundings, the fantastic pool and the glorious guest house, I loved every moment. The steps are definitely not for the faint of heart, but this house's charm more than makes up for it

    Becca2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Where to start?! This was our best Air Bnb experience yet!!! Mark is a gracious, thoughtful host. He is an excellent communicator and replies quickly. His home is more like a retreat! We felt like we were in Tuscany or Nice, not 4 hours from our home. We enjoyed our vacation very much, but staying at Mark's home was by far the best part. We came back from our Cincinnati and Kentucky adventures to chill out and recharge before heading back out for dinner in Covington or exploring Rhinegeist in OTR. Mark's recommendations were on point. We loved our meals at Otto's and Frida 602! We slept in as long as possible in the upstairs loft at the guesthouse. Prefect for couples! STAY HERE! Thanks again Mark!

    Alexis2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay in Mark's guest house. Mark was extremely responsive, promptly answering any questions we had. Moreover, he was there to meet us upon arrival and was easy to find if we had any concerns. He and his wife were very friendly (but not intrusive), flexible on check-in and check-out times, provided some nice breakfast foods, and we enjoyed having a glass of wine with them on our second night. As the pictures show, the inside of the house is beautiful and was very clean upon arrival. Additionally, we really enjoyed the property, especially hiking to the top of the vineyard and laying out by the pool (which is quite private and very relaxing). There were only two concerns during our stay. First, the AC unit in the wall was simply not strong enough to cool the entire house throughout the day (particularly the second floor). I even had a box fan from my trunk to try and push the AC upstairs but it just was not enough to cool the second floor bedroom during daytime hours (high temperatures were about 90 degrees both days of our July stay). While the temperature of the bedroom did improve at night, for most of our stay only half of the house was really kept cool by the AC unit. Secondly, we did find changing clothes a bit challenging. The bathroom is the only room with complete privacy (if curtains are closed behind the glass doors) and there is not much room to change. Every other part of the house is surrounded by windows. While this provided great natural light, it was not ideal when privacy was needed. All in all, while there were a few concerns for us, we would recommend this location to other Airbnb travelers.

    Jeremy2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Mark was an extremely gracious host. Our stay was wonderful and we had all the amenities we needed while there. We had a very busy weekend and regretfully didn't get to spend as much time at the property as we would've liked. However, our time there was wonderful!

    Cindy2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful getaway! The guest house was gorgeous and Mark was such a great host. We loved that he took time to share the history of Monte Cassino with us and the vision for his place. When we weren't enjoying the pool, we loved exploring Covington, just a short drive away with plenty of hip local food options and small shops. We can't wait to come back :)

Location! Free parking and two Red Bike passes included! Be in the heart of it all! Walk to the Convention Center, Paul Brown Stadium, Reds Ballpark, Downtown and of course all the unique Mainstrasse restaurants and nightlife! Was built in 1850 and still retains it's charm with modern amenities!
Enjoy everything downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine, Covington/Mainstrasse, and Newport have to offer all at your fingertips! This listing is for ENTIRE 2nd floor apartment! Super cool wine and paint studio/gallery on the ground floor. No shared walls! Features a queen bed and a twin also available (both are real mattresses), as well as a full length twin sized couch. Spa like bath with a modern shower with double shower heads, towel warmer, plush towels and robes. All toiletries are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make home cooked meals or quick snacks. Private back landscaped courtyard. Perfect for a cup of coffee and to enjoy the flowers!
Covington's Main Street District, known famously as Mainstrasse, is the heart of it all and extremely safe. Right outside your door is incredible local casual and fine dining restaurants, nightlife and bars, a local coffee shop and even a Starbuck's a few blocks over. No need to drive and pay for parking for Bengals' or Reds' games. So close, you can walk! Feel free to contact me if you need any suggestions or recommendations! Paul Brown Stadium, home of NFL's Cincinnati Bengals, is literally up Main Street over the bridge. It is a very short, safe, and beautiful walk over the Clay Wade Bailey bridge. Turn left or north out of the front gate and just go straight up Main Street. I recommend crossing the street to the right or east side to have easy access to the bridge's sidewalk. Walk to the Great American Ballpark home of the MLB's Cincinnati Reds. You can take the same directions to get to Paul Brown Stadium, just keep walking east until you reach the ballpark. ***Or I HIGHLY suggest, turning east on 5th Street (Popeye's), then go straight and turn left onto Greenup Street. Again I recommend crossing to the right or east side of Greenup to have easier access to the sidewalks. Then just go straight and you will cross the beautiful and famous Roebling Bridge and the ballpark will be just on your right.
  • My friend and I enjoyed our stay in Sarah's place. It is a cute cozy place is very elegant yet homey feeling. You are steps away from great bars and restaurants. We were in for a conference and walked to the conference center each day.

  • We had some issues, but in the end Sarah was extremely accommodating! Her place is really nice, and it's close to downtown Cincinnati. Sarah was also nice enough to let us stay with our dog. Recommended.

  • Sarah's is now our go-to spot for trips that bring us to the area. It's spotless, comfortable and sits in the middle of a neighborhood we love. Hope to be back again soon. Uber ride to and from Riverbend was 15 minutes or so in traffic. Easy.

    Misti2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Mainstrasse at Sarah's place. It was a perfect starting point for adventures in Cincinnati and northern Kentucky. Sarah was there to greet us when we arrived late on Friday and had the place ready to go. Spacious bedroom and living area. Would definitely stay here again.

    Jordan2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Nice private space, comfortable bed, clean, fresh linens and towels, Wi-Fi and TV, and quick drive to downtown Cincinnati. Sarah was accessible and responsive. Happy with my choice and would stay again, when I am in the area.

  • Highly recommended and a great value. I'd love to stay here again the next time that I visit Cinci. As described, Sarah's apartment is in a perfect location to explore the Mainstrasse area of Covington. Numerous restaurants and bars are within short walking distance of the apartment and Cincinnati-side attractions are only a short uber drive away. The apartment itself is extremely clean, comfortable, and has everything my girlfriend and I were looking for. Sarah is an excellent host. Prompt, professional communication; easily one of the best airbnb experiences I've had.

    John2015-12-21T00:00:00Z

  • This was my first experience using Airbnb, and definitely won't be my last! We loved it. The home was clean, and beautifully decorated. As a host, Patti was quick to respond, and answered every question we had. On arrival, she provided a map of the city, and made several recommendations on food and activities. We absolutely loved it!

    Heather2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • A great place. Very close to OTR and the place itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and more. Patti was very responsive and helpful!

    Robert2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home in an amazing city. Patti made us fans of Cincinnati. Beautiful and impeccable decor. She even left us a couple of local beers. Wonderful place and I'm looking forward to coming back.

    Dante2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was fabulous! The location is Perfect for OTR! There aren't any hotels in the area, so it's hard to be as close as we were, it worked out so well! The pictures are 100% accurate to the place, and it was even COOLER in real life! This place was perfect and Patti was awesome!

2nd floor, one-bedroom apartment in heart of Covington's historic MainStrasse Village. Located in a bustling entertainment district within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, bars, & family-friendly activities. Features rooftop deck w/ views of Cincinnati skyline and off-street parking adjacent to building. Includes amenities of home, with kitchen, washer/dryer, wi-fi, & more. Just a little more than 1.5 miles from downtown Cincinnati. A perfect spot for Reds/Bengals/concert goers.
MainStrasse Village is home to myriad shops, restaurants, and bars. While there is plenty of fun and nightlife nearby, this apartment is located just a hop, skip and a jump away from downtown Cincinnati where you'll find the stadiums for the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, and US Bank Arena.
  • Shannan was a terrific host!! As soon as we arrived, she was very helpful in telling us things to do in the area (restaurants, bars, local events .. even a spot close by to see live goats :-) ), and how to get around Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. The apartment was immaculate .. very cozy, just as the listing states. The amenities were well kept and up to date, and the whirlpool tub was extremely relaxing. It's located in a quaint part of the city, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to still partake in the festivities. If you are looking for an awesome place to stay I would definitely recommend contacting Shannan, and letting her accomodate you.

    LaVan2016-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • I was in town for a wedding. I hadn't visited Cinnci in years. I wanted to stay close to the wedding festivities. Shannan's place was AMAZING for my needs. It was the perfect location and space. The apartment was clean and had all of the weekend supplies for a quick trip. I loved that off-street parking was available. There was a great patio. You can walk anywhere for food, coffee, drinks in a flash. Shannan met me when I checked-in and walked me through the apartment. She was so helpful and kind! If I'm back in Cincinnati soon, I will DEFINITELY stay here again.

    Aparna2017-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • I have nothing but high praises for this location. The place is large and extremely comfortable. Shannon was very nice when we spoke to her on the phone. We never got to meet unfortunately. She did provide a very detailed guide on the desk. The 1 bedroom is beautifully decorated and very clean. The bathroom is nice with good water pressure and a spa tub/ shower. The towels were very plush. The home is in the heart of the Mainstrasse Village which has plenty of eclectic shops and a wide variety of bars, pubs, and eateries. The village association makes sure that any outdoor live music is over about 10. However, with the windows closed, very little noise can be heard from the outside. There is a large deck outside the kitchen door but we didn't use it. There is a driveway for parking but can be a tight squeeze for extra wide cars. A Chevy Trailblazer fit just fine. My friend and I ended up parking in the driveway on a Friday and didn't move the Trailblazer until we left Monday. We took the local trolley, Southbank into Cincinnati for site seeing. It's $1 one way and the nearest bus stop is just a block away. The cool thing about the Southbank trolley is that they do special late night runs for Reds, Bengals, and concerts. We attended a Paul McCartney concert Sunday night and paid $2 round trip for a 15 minute bus ride. Easy on and off. My friend and I have agreed that this is one of the best AirBNB that we've stayed in for comfort and price.

    Malinda2016-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is so nicely equipped, so cozy, and in such a lovely neighborhood, we truly weren't ready to go back home! We hope to be back absolutely as soon as possible. Shannan is a very friendly host and she gives you all the information you want to make the most of your stay. We really appreciated that. My one heads up would be to parents with small kids, the stairway is in the center of the apartment, so I would bring a baby gate for peace of mind. We have been extremely fortunate with our Airbnb experiences, and this one continued that trend!

    Ashley2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Shannan was very responsive and helpful. The listing was exactly as advertised - wish we would've had more time to take advantage of the rooftop area. We enjoyed our stay in Covington!

    Amy2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Shannan's 1 bedroom listing quite literally in the heart of MainStrasse Village was an absolute Airbnber's dream. In person, the space is much bigger than it appears in photos. You will have plenty of space to stretch out and relax. You are paces away from some of Covington's best restaurants and late night hot spots, and a short drive away from Cincinnati. And if you don't want to venture out, the apartment has every amenity of home. I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Cincinnati!

    Sarah2016-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon was a friendly host and location is tough to beat.

    Tom2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location in Mainstrasse for dining and going out. The apartment is spacious and bright. I will definitely stay again on my next visit!

My place is a short bus ride or drive from all that Cincinnati has to offer, from bars & restaurants, to parks, & museums. Price Hill also has great restaurants & views. You’ll love my place because of it's Victorian charm. Your room has a twin size bed and a fold out couch. Common areas feature fireplaces, stained glass, a projection screen, kitchen & a back deck. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, & business travelers. I do have cats though they are not allowed in the guest room.
Your room is on the second floor and has both a twin size bed and a sofa that folds out into a single size bed. Clean sheets and towels will be provided.
There is a convenience store down the block and some pretty cool restaraunts a short drive or long walk from my house.
  • Mark's room is lager and he is nice. He can deal with your problem l.

    昌源2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • I was in Cincinnati exhibiting at a music festival and Mark was super flexible with allowing me to checkin at around 3am in the morning. He was super responsive to my msgs, and though we didn't meet seems like an ok guy. That's why I'm not happy writing this review. I might seem unappreciative. At the same time reviews are what guests rely on to book an airbn. I tx Mark that i wouldn't be able to checkin until about 3am, he was super cool with that. Now i prior to booking this room i read a review that mentioned the cat smell and dirty bathroom, i figured that wouldn't be an issue because most hosts improve issues bought up by guests. Not the case here. As soon as you enter Mark's home, the stench of cat piss assaults ur nostrils. Exhausted from the music festival and having to be up at 8am i checked in. When i got to the room the stench was just as strong. The bed was nasty. I opened the window, no help. Bed smelled of cat piss. I placed a shirt on the pillow and slept with my clothes on. The bathroom was nasty i showered with my socks on. Next night came in at 3am slept with clothes on again. I checked out in the morning. Mark was super cool with refunding money for day i was cancelled. I had to endure this awful room for 5 hours for 2 nights. There's no way i could of stayed a whole day. The place is a dirty version of the pics posted for this room. You been warned. Sorry Mark.

  • Keep coming back to Mark's when I'm in town because the house is so nice, and it's a short drive to downtown. Conveniently located by scenic Mt Echo Park too!
