Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rome

The condo was more updated than the hotel rooms are at Chula Vista. It was our first time at a condo there and we would recommend!

We had the absolute best time. This was by far the most thoughtfully stocked house we’ve ever rented. It was great!

Towel girl was a little rude but overall great.

We loved our stay. From the moment we reserved the Lilikoi to our checkout, Daryl was very attentive and responsive. It blew us away on how peaceful it was there. My girlfriend’s son rode a bike for the first time without training wheels, went kayaking for his first time, and learned archery. There was a lot of wildlife and we spent most of our time around the camp fire and surrounding woods. Dog friendly trails and lodging. Do yourself a favor a book a weekend or a week. You won’t regret it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to book again soon. The Chula Vista is a beautiful way to enjoy the Dells and the space was perfect for a hit family. Very spacious with luxury amenities.

Great little trip away from home

We enjoyed our weekend here on the lake! It was too cold for us to use and enjoy the water as much as we hoped but nonetheless, we got to enjoy the home and everything it has to offer with our family, which was the goal. Thank you!!! Pros: The home is right on the lake, the view is absolutely beautiful, clean clear water, and it’s peaceful. The neighbors were helpful and friendly, but we didn’t see them more than once since it feels very private. The kitchen is fully equipped, everything organized and clean. The cleanest pots and pans I’ve seen. The bathrooms had enough towels for all of us (8) to use. The home is spacious, enough room to sleep us all. We loved the idea of the boats we can use during our time. We enjoyed the bonfire area! Cons: The host never called us back when asking about the lock box. We figured it out, but I thought it was strange the whole weekend not hearing back. Thankfully the place was perfect and we didn’t need any other help.

Exceptional view of the lake with great amenities. Sunrise right into home, so it's light and bright. Shade in the later afternoon/evening on the deck (overlooking lake), so that space was fantastic too. Main level has master suite and primary bath with tub/shower combo; open floorplan kitchen/dining/living area and fantastic walk-out deck with grill and table to seat a crowd. Above ground deck means fewer mosquitos! Second floor level is a 'bunk' room for multiple guests (but no bathroom up there). Lower level has second master bedroom with additional bathroom; bar area and another walk-out ground floor deck. Overall fantastic spaces, well outfitted for a small family or a crowd. Rowboat and kayaks weren't used (too cold - water was 50 degrees!). Fishing rods too. Thank you for the very nice place to stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Got to fire up the grill and host the family for dinner. Especially enjoyed using the fire pit and the fishing boat with my granddaughters. The cabin was clean and spacious, as well as comfortable and decorated. Parker Lake has been a home away from home for us for many, many years; it was wonderful to experience it from the “other side” of the lake. Very quiet, very scenic. It was perfect for our family and we can’t wait to return!

Great location for fishing either lake or the river. Roomy, open space. Great U driveway, so you don't have to back in a boat trailer. Frank is very accommodating and communicates well.

A beautiful private cabin. This was exactly what my partner and I were looking for. Has a gas powered kitchen and electricity but still rustic and cozy. You will find yourself naturally very relaxed here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Haven. The location is a little remote but it is an extremely comfortable and quiet stay. The house had everything we needed and everything worked well. I highly recommend this house for a stay in the Dells area.

This was perfect for a family of 4. The room is pretty spacious. For the price, you cannot beat this deal especially with the waterpark passes. The pictures are accurate. Overall, the room was nice and clean. I would stay here again.

End of summer trip before it's back to school time. There were hardly any lines for the slides which was a nice surprise. The surrounding nature was beautiful, the pools aren't very deep but it was absolutely enough for adults to cool off as well. We really enjoyed our lunch at Kilbourn City Grill, mini golf was enjoyable, and our daughter had a blast in the wave pool as well (11 yrs. old). Very short ride to downtown WI Dells, we would stay again!

The jacuzzi was a much needed bonus after a long fun day with the family!

Welcoming and attentive caretaker, kitchen amenities, fun for multi-generational groups, hot tub is divine, fun touches. For once, the teen and college-aged boys weren’t bored. I bet it’s even better in the summer. The upstairs bathroom would be happier with one more light. 💡:)
