Vacation rentals with a kayak in Rockingham County

We booked this home for our daughters graduation from the University of New Hampshire. The house was fantastic. The lake was great and the house was perfect for our family and friends that stayed with us. The house was 25 minutes from UNH, so the location was perfect. Veronique was very helpful and super responsive. She even allowed us to shift days when we found out her ceremony was on a different day than we thought. I would absolutely recommend this location.

My friends & I stayed at Cindy’s place for a wedding weekend. It was a beautiful lake house & perfectly accommodated us. We enjoyed the spacious living room & game room & cooked breakfasts in the kitchen. Cindy was quick to reply with any issues & even helped bring an item of clothing that was left to us! We all agreed that we’d come back again during warmer months to get use out of the kayaks & other lake amenities! Thanks again, Cindy!

Gary and Nick were wonderful hosts, extremely accommodating and very communicative and flexible. The surroundings alone were so picturesque , each morning and dawn was like a painting - I’ll be back for sure !

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you would need was provided. Just pack your clothes and toothbrush and you are all set. The house was even better than described, if that’s possible. The layout was perfect for gathering and just catching up. The beds were so comfortable. And the outside was even nicer. Lots of places to sit and relax. The lake was just a step away. Tanis was also very easy to communicate with. You can tell he really cared about our stay. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

Beautiful location, had all the amenities we needed. Close to our daughter's wedding venue. Brian was always responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Great lakeside house, exactly as described in the listing. Outdoor space was a nice getaway for us city folks that don't have access to places like this. John and Celeste replied to messages super quickly and were gracious hosts. Would stay again!

The home was exactly as described. There were plenty of towels, linen and beds for a group of 10. The home was spotless and was very comfortable. Anna-Lisa was an amazing host. She provided clear instructions for entry into the home, offered lots of recommendations and was very quick to respond to all inquiries. The she shed was a bonus for any mom needing a few moments away.

Katy's house was the perfect space for a peaceful getaway. The house was beautiful and surprisingly spacious, and the view of the lake was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we get the chance!

We’ve used this location on 2 separate occasions for work trips. This place is absolutely amazing and makes the time away from home fly by with its beautiful views and amazing sunrises. The bbq and fire pit top off the evenings while you take in the amazing views of the lake. I highly recommend this host and location.

We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. The river really is right down the street. Our dog loved her walks. If you're traveling in the fall, it's so beautiful and the wood burning stove made for cozy days and nights. The neighbours were friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the washer and dryer was a convenient addition. In the back room, there's a spacious desk which made working from home during the trip a breeze. Thank you Peter. It was a wonderful six weeks.

Staying just steps from the beach was lovely! We really enjoyed having coffee by the water and reading on the porch. The cottage was comfortable and the surroundings were just gorgeous.

Located just a short walk to the beach this charming cottage offered the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for my whole family. The spacious cottage was clean and very well designed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area with modern amenities. The hosts, Elia and Rob, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating and we hope to visit again soon. I would highly recommend True North Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near the beach and scenic, downtown Newburyport.

The cottage was the perfect Air B&B for our stay. Immaculately clean and warmly decorated. It felt like home, warm and welcoming. Everything and more was provided and well labeled for easy access. A variety of coffees and teas, brewers and kettle were on display in the fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and dish towels were available, too. A binder with instructions for the guests was available for review on how to handle trash, recycling, and other matters of the property. It was a great stay, and we will certainly plan a stay there again

Enjoyed our time at this home. Definitely better than staying in town at a hotel. I hope future guests will see the beauty and charm and take very much care of the home and its surroundings. if anything, think of how long this home has been there and how it should be respected and taken care of.

Spent a night there with my other half and dog. Beautiful view of the lake from the cottage, with access to kayaks and paddleboards free of charge. Very clean and well kept property, will definitely be revisiting soon

We loved staying at Nicole's cabin and found it just as advertised. It is located on a pond so very peaceful to just hang out and enjoy. Several casual restaurants near by.

Had a wonderfully, relaxing stay! The cottage is adorable and reminds me so much of my Gram’s house ♥️ I had asked a question about the Kayaks and no sooner had I walked up from the beach area did I see Burton at the cottage getting the Kayaks out for me! I will say the highlight of my stay was being out on the water sitting in the middle of the pond and seeing one fisherman so far in the distance. It was serenity! Would absolutely stay here again! The fire pit was another highlight. The neighbors were very friendly as well 😊

Maryjane was a fantastic host who takes great care of her beautiful cabin. She had a family medical emergency during our stay, but we both worked together to make our NYE trip a very memorable one. She is very responsive and friendly. Her home provides all of the charm of a cabin while also having modern appliances and features. We loved every second of our time here and would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a beautiful autumn weekend here at Melissa's lake cottage. It truly felt like a little home away from home! We enjoyed the firepit outside, and if we had better weather for the other days we were going to make use of the kayaks. Having a rainy day inside this place wasn't a downside at all, plenty of room for the three of us to spread out and enjoy some board games and creative writing. The loons calling outside and the surrounding fall foliage were extra treats! Melissa made it super easy and communicated quickly, even with my asking lots of questions. Definitely on my "will stay again if I can" list!!!

Robert and Natalie have a well appointed cabin, the neighborhood is quiet and sharing their well-cared for kayaks as well as just about anything else you’d want to enjoy the lake made our stay a memorable time. The outdoor living space is equally amazing. The inside of the cabin is both roomy and cozy and has everything you need for family time and relaxing. The book they leave for guests is detailed and leaves you feeling connected to the special hosts who really care about your stay. This will be a repeat stay for us. Thank you, Robert and Natalie!
