House vacation rentals in Putnam County

Great stay overall! We had 16-18 people and the property slept us all comfortably with plenty of space to eat and relax. Much cleaner than other places we have stayed as a group. Quiet neighborhood and great hot tub! We would love to come back.

Ran into some issues with the amenities, the host was quick and responsive to remedy the situation. This was a good location for a golf trip with several golf courses nearby.

Property was accurate to description and photos online. Couch should not be considered as sleeping option for adults.

We had a fantastic stay at Meggan’s place! She made check-in and check-out a breeze and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Her communication made everything easy and stress-free. The house and property were absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone to get ready for our out-of-state wedding, which made a big difference during such a busy time. The yard was peaceful and relaxing, and the pool was a highlight—such a perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Overall it was great place and served its purpose … Great gathering space but for 8 people to hang out in the common area it could use more seating. I would recommend this over separate hotel rooms for a group traveling together !

This place is truly a wonderful getaway spot. Plenty of room for all 7 adults and an infant. We loved the homey nature of the house and outside area! The kitchen and dining area made meal time easy and fun for all of us girls to enjoy time together. And the pool area was perfect! We loved that all of us could spend time talking and relaxing around and in the pool for a while day! Maryanne was a perfect host and answered all of our questions quickly. Sheade this weekend girls' getaway so easy!

In a lovely new neighborhood with plenty of space for the whole family - even a yard to play in! Close to everything but feels private at the same time.

Christina's cottage is a great place to stay if you need to be in the Greencastle area. It's very clean and well appointed and in a quiet neighborhood that is close to downtown.

Nathan was a great host! He was very invested in helping us make the most of our trip, offering great recommendations and showing amazing friendliness. The house is even better than it looks in the pictures: cozy, clean, and full of things to do… not to mention how amazing the view and surroundings are. I definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s. My mother, sister, niece, nephew and daughter (DePauw student) had plenty of room, enjoyed a movie together, watched Sunday football, talked, laughed and pet the cats a lot. I would highly recommend!

What a wonderful place to enjoy our daughter’s last few days at DePauw University! My extended family and I throughly enjoyed our time sitting on the deck, enjoying the quiet and visiting deer, soaking in the hot tub and a celebration dinner in the kitchen. And the hosts were super responsive when an electric breaker went out and needed to be switched back on. If you are looking for a family friendly place close to DePauw..hosted by a beautiful family, this is it!

Ron’s home is a true gem. My family and I were very at home and cozy in this wonderful house. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and well laid out. Everything you need for a great family weekend is here. Ron is a very responsive and friendly host. There was plenty of space for myself, my wife and our two sons to enjoy a weekend in Greencastle. The local restaurants are very nice and the town is very peaceful. I highly recommend this place for a stay and cannot wait to come back.

We had a great stay at Larry’s place. We were visiting our son who coaches at DePauw and we needed something close to him. The house was super clean and had everything we needed.

Finding a place in Greencastle can be challenging so I was excited when Rosemary’s place showed up! It was the perfect place for our family during DePauw graduation weekend. Although Wi-Fi ended up being out, Rosemary went above and beyond and beyond to try to make things right.

Thanks for a great place to stay with my parents for DePauw graduation! Our family was able to gather here for lunch after which was perfect since not many places are open on Sunday:)

Wonderfully renovated home, walking distance to everything at DePauw University. Perfect location, very clean and modern. Vickie was a delight to work with!

Trillium in Greencastle is a newer listing. The location was perfect to everything DePauw and Greencastle related. The house was a wonderful history lesson from the old books and magazines in the poker room to the information in the family room. Bedrooms were cozy, beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were just right. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook over Easter weekend. We look forward to returning!

Brooke was very accommodating during our stay in Greencastle. We are from out of state and Brooke allowed us to visit the property prior to our stay. She was very attentive and responsive to our needs during our stay! The property is beautiful and was a great location for walking to the downtown square, restaurants and the Depauw campus. I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Greencastle or Depauw!!!

This property is great for DePauw visitors. Close to campus and decorated tastefully with DePauw and Greencastle touches inside. Very clean when we arrived. The living space and kitchen have a nice layout. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property over a hotel option for family visits to campus. A great find in the area.

Nicki's place was an excellent home base while we were in town for the Indy 500. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house had plenty of extra towels, blankets, kitchen supplies, etc. It was in a nice neighborhood, we had lots of space to spread out, inside and out, and we really enjoyed being able to sit on the front porch in the mornings!
