Cabin vacation rentals in Potosi

Recently stayed here for a long girl's weekend and it far exceeded our expectations! There were 4 of us and we each had our own bedroom AND bathroom which is really hard to find. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and the living room super comfy - we spent our evenings there just chatting and hanging out. You can tell that Andrew and Sara put a lot of thought and effort into decorating the space to give it a very cozy and inviting vibe. Lots of extra touches - the soft linens, sound machine in each bedroom, cute decor. We definitely intend on another girl's trip to Galena and plan to stay in this house again. Highly recommend!

This was my second time staying here in five years. Everything was great and as advertised. For a remote cabin, it was everything we were expecting. Some areas needed dusting, but I'm 6'7", so I could easily see areas that probably go overlooked. There was a cool cave within walking distance of the house that was advertised in their welcome binder. It took a little bit to find, adding a map or GPS coordinates would have made the hunt easier. But it was a cool experience once we found the cave entrance.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin had a wonderful hot tub and fire pit and recommendations for things to do around the area as well!

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Lodge! Stepping into the cabin felt like being transported back in time. Complementing the old-world style and architecture, it was decorated with antiques and beautiful artwork. However, the modern furniture and amenities gave it a spa-like feel. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the cabin was stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the deck, cards around the fire, and the hot tub under the stars. Sunsets over the river were beautiful. We explored a couple of nearby towns: Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, and Lansing. During our drives we saw tons of wildlife: so many deer, turkeys, eagles, and hawks. We recommend Eagle View Lodge and hope to return. Thank you, David!

Extremely pleased with our stay and really enjoyed being right on the water. Everyone was very responsive and had there been a need for anything I know we would have been accommodated immediately. Would recommend this stay to others and if back in the area, looking forward to spending time at millennium! Will point out though we didn’t care, other Airbnbs they offer are all in the same marina and you are within 50 yards of others. We didn’t have an issue with it but you’re not completely secluded per se but that shouldn’t deter you from this beautiful stay.

We had a great time. The cabin was secluded and peaceful. Everyone loved it. Kids had an a lot of fun watching scary movies at night. We all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunset. Definitely look forward to going back when there’s snow on the floor. Thanks

We had such a relaxing time here. The cabin was clean and felt even bigger than the pictures. We brought our 3 kids and it didn’t feel cramped at all. There were toys for them to play with and they loved having the basketball hoop outside too. Great little getaway for our family.

Excellent weekend getaway! The home is decorated and furnished very well. Super comfy bed. The heater in the bathroom was much appreciated. The home is far enough away from things to feel secluded, but close enough to always be able to grab what we needed. We got takeout from a bar & grill in Rolling Ground -- just a few minutes away -- and it made for a great evening. Lots of games available to play. The property was lovely... we took a few walks around to check out the barn, sheep and creek. Very relaxing. Owners were extremely attentive.

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

Everything was genuinely awesome. The cabin exceeded our expectations. The spring birds are very active. There are walking trails across the property that are kept in good condition. In addition there are quite a few attractions in the area as well. Potosi has a lovely brewery tour, Platville has a lot of fun attractions and Downtown Dubuque was a lot of fun on our last day after check out. We highly recommend everything.

A great place super close to downtown Galena and a quick drive to Chestnut Mountain - truly the best of both worlds. We had a wonderful time staying here with our dog who especially loved the big back yard.

This is a little piece of heaven. Just left from a work trip. While there, I stayed in the cabin and one of the tiny homes. Both were adorable, SUPER clean (and I’m picky), very affordable. They thought of everything and even had extra linens and fans, which is great when the temperature outside fluctuated so often. Definitely recommend!

Awesome get away! Loved it and the service provided by Marlin & Judy was kind and caring! Recommended to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while!!

Great cabin. It was very cozy and we all had a blast.

Cute cabin and beautiful view, close to hiking! Extra bonus of doggy treats in the freezer. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful firepit outside with computable chairs. Beds cozy. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook. Bathroom very clean! We shared the kitchen with a lot of lady bugs but it’s that time of year so we understood. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay here while on an outdoorsy weekend trip to NE Iowa. This was such a sweet place to stay. Awesome host who has really thought of everything to provide in a quaint cabin.

Very responsive hosts. We did a same night check in and they were accommodating for being last minute. We celebrated our anniversary and they even left us a little surprise.

Had a great stay on rhe ridgetop, everything was neat and clean. Wonderful views of the stars and the Milky Way.

Michele’s place was perfect for our trip to the Field of Dreams and a couple of the state parks. The cabin was spacious, beautiful and clean, and the location was so peaceful. It was so nice to relax by the fire each night. Michele and her husband were so hospitable and even got a fire going for us the first night. A perfect place for our family of 4!

This was the perfect place for a weekend get away for us! The water was beautiful, the cabin was very cute, and felt spacious. We will definitely be back if we are able to come back! Had an incredible stay at this cabin! It is an incredible view and totally cozy. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked which made it easy for us to cook our own meals. The bathroom was modern and clean. The cabin is on difficult road so I would advise using vehicles that you’re comfortable driving off-road. I am gonna miss having a cup of coffee while looking out at the lake! The wood stove really heated up the place and gave a great atmosphere! Would love to come back at some point!
