This cabin is perfect to experience the remote quiet life in the country yet it is only 6 miles to the nearest town of Byrdstown TN which is absolutely charming. It still has the southern hospitality in which we all love and endure. This cabin is less than 11 miles from the prestigous Dale Hollow Lake and Sunset Marina where there is a multitude of water activities to do including a sandy beach area at the Obey River Recreation Area.

This was nice and we really didn't many people. it had easy access door code. it has nice covered porch area. Kitchen was nice had the basics including coffee. we used a packnplay that was there which was extremely helpful and we noticed a small high chair/ food chair for toddlers. there were several box fans which we really appreciated. Endless towels, wash clothes. extra sheets and bedding. it has a nice sofa area with a TV and there was a tv in the one room..I didnt look in the other room very long so I don't remember. two bathrooms, one half other full with a tub/shower. laundry room available. also, Charles, the host, allowed us to have a few other family members join us as our plans kinda changed and he made it no problem. we really enjoyed our stay. bonus is outdoor kitty pretty friendly and enjoyed a good scratchy lol

Book NOW!!! We absolutely LOVED staying in Catherine’s beautiful, extremely clean, perfect home! Not only did Catherine communicate extremely well but also very quickly when we had some questions prior to our booking. Not only is Catherine’s home perfect it also comes with an extremely nice & covered boat slip located in Star Point Marina. Slip #89 was truly EPIC & made our stay even more of dream 🙌🏻. Anytime that we are in the area this place will be our #1.

For 25 years, we have traveled to the area to camp at obey River and have a family reunion. Since the campground was closed this year due to renovations, this location was perfect for us to travel between the day use area at obey River and Sunset dock Marina as well as visit between other rentals family had secured for the weekend. The place was beautiful and spacious and great for hosting outdoors. Would definitely rent again.

Really wonderful experience. The house was incredibly comfortable and in a very beautiful neighborhood. The property itself was big, lots of trees, private, all fenced in - trails right outside for exploring. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our favorite amenity was the hottub on the back porch. We used it multiple times a day and sat out gazing at stars in it at night. We would definitely stay here again.
