Free kayaks at this remote log cabin on the river in the Tennessee Highlands! Kayaks include one double sit-on-top kayak, one single Pescador kayak, and one single sit-in kayak. Our off-the-grid cabin overlooks the East Fork Obey River (Dale Hollow Lake), and the scenic Tennessee Highlands. Stroll down to the water to fish or launch your boat from the nearby ramp on Riverton Road, just one street over. End the day by the outdoor fireplace, or relax on one of the two porches to stargaze.

Dale Hollow Lake Cabin

The Dale Hollow Lake Cabin is a place where you can relax, have fun, and enjoy nature to the fullest! This sprawling cabin can comfortably sleep 10, and is equipped with two full bathrooms along with a spacious kitchen and living areas. One of my favorite things about this space is the wrap around deck and hot tub. It also has a fire pit area simply waiting for you to come roast some s’mores and burgers. This cabin is walking distance to the East Port Marina and The Fishers Place restaurant.

When you arrive at Happy Hollow Cottage, A bright, simple, cheerfully renovated (winter 2025) (900 sq.ft.) single level cottage with a wall of windows at the large lakeside deck provides a close-up view of beautiful Dale Hollow Lake from the inside and the outside. You have found your happy place! See Rules: All bookings require Copies of Drivers Licenses for all adult guests staying in the property, a signed Rental Agreement and $500 Security Deposit "HOLD" placed on your credit card.

Americana Country Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cabin is perfect to experience the remote quiet life in the country yet it is only 6 miles to the nearest town of Byrdstown TN which is absolutely charming. It still has the southern hospitality in which we all love and endure. This cabin is less than 11 miles from the prestigous Dale Hollow Lake and Sunset Marina where there is a multitude of water activities to do including a sandy beach area at the Obey River Recreation Area.

All rooms have a view of the lake and the deck overlook Dale Hollow. We are a mile from Wolf River Boat Dock. The suite is downstairs with a private entrance. There are walking paths that encompasses 3 acres on the property. The private deck has a fire pit for chilly mornings to enjoy coffee or relaxing evening. Bear Necessities by East Port Marina & Dale Hollow

Cabin is equipped with fireplace, WIFI, Smart TV’s, central heat and air conditioning, gas grill, and a hot tub. Bear Necessities can sleep 13 guests. The loft bedroom offers two queen size beds, and a private bathroom. The main floor offers a bedroom with a queen size bed, bathroom, kitchen complete with stove top range and oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The living area offers a beautiful stone fireplace, and luxurious leather furniture.

Cottage w/ boat parking, 2.7mi to free boat launch

Located in Byrdstown, this welcoming cottage lets you experience it all with convenient on-site parking for vehicles and boat(s), a large fenced in deck & yard and a fully stocked kitchen. A quick 8-minute drive from the cottage you can be at Dale Hollow Lake. There is a FREE boat launch at Cove Creek recreation area (2.7 mi). After a day on the lake, you can unwind on the deck (seasonal lake views), sip a drink by the firepit or grill up burgers!

Sleepy Hollow Retreat

Enjoy the lovely setting of this quiet spot in nature. 15 minutes to Pickett Park or Twin Arches. Local winery in town is about 10 minutes away. We are about 8 minutes from Walmart and downtown Jamestown. Alvin York Park is about 20 minutes away. South Fork National Park is about 20 minutes away. Pogue Creek State Natural Area is about 10 minutes away. We do have chicken's and bee's. We do sell eggs to our guests at discounted price.
