Cabin vacation rentals in Ouachita National Forest

Hard to beat this place if you’re staying in the area. Very nice and immaculately decorated inside and out. Driveways are very steep and gravel so might have some difficulty with a car. Highly recommend.

The cabin has a great layout, making it feel bigger than it actually is. We loved the wrap around porch and outdoor area! Very clean, well stocked and great owners!

This place was so unique, peaceful, and right in town. But you would never know it. Surrounded by woods. The eye spy game inside the home is the added touch that makes this house so unique. Thank you Anna.

What a great rental! the location was very convenient, it was easy to access, very clean, and had modern amenities. We didn’t use the hot tub or fire pit but we will next time. We had no need to contact Justin because he was proactive and provided anticipated information rather than waiting for us to ask. We can't wait to stay here again.

Super comfortable place. We enjoyed hanging out here. Kitchen was fully stocked with all dishes needed for cooking. Beds were comfortable. Loved the outside deck & hot tub. Scenery was beautiful. Also liked the nearby hikes & town (mini golf and wine tasting were top on our list). The cabin and Broken Bow are a hidden gem. Highly recommend this place and area.

This place is perfect for couples and just as described. For my 40th birthday all I wanted was to relax and that is exactly what we did. We had a in-cabin massage and a chef come to the cabin- and there was plenty of room for that. When we were alone, all we could hear were the bullfrogs or the rain. We HIGHLY recommend staying here when it’s raining. We slept like we did before we had kids! The roll down shades made for a glorious afternoon nap.

Our time spent at the cabin is always a highlight of coming home! We love this place!

This place is very peaceful! The river view is amazing and there was a lot of care taken in the building and layout of the property. Will stay again for a recenter, refocus get away!! Highly enjoyed and recommend. 💯💫

We enjoyed our stay in this clean & comfortable cabin. The location was great, the cabin sits off the road a bit & we rarely saw anyone driving by. The firepit was convenient, we cooked our dinner over the open fire. It was great to be so close to the crystal mine we visited for the day. I've already shared this listing with friends & am looking forward to coming back.

It was awful! The bed was too comfortable. The cabin was too clean and cozy. The place was too relaxing. It was terribly difficult to get any work done. The boss was not happy! If I don’t get fired……..I’ll be back!! Hehehe!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The hosts were incredibly communicative, making sure everything was perfect throughout the stay. The cabin itself was spotless and had plenty of supplies, so we felt right at home. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. There were also so many fun activities available, like corn hole, horse shoes, outdoor fire pit and fishing poles. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind—highly recommend!

Definitely the best vacation we have had as a family to this date!! The cabin was so comfortable and relaxing, plus being so close to such an absolutely beautiful state park makes this trip unforgettable. We overlooked that there was no washer and dryer (again totally our fault) but found a clean and friendly laundromat 5-ish minutes away. Would definitely love to come back to this place every year if we could!!

This was an amazing find, the creek was beautiful! The house was clean and well thought out. We enjoyed opening some windows while cooking to hear the sounds of the flowing creek. All the windows were amazing for natural light & scenic views as well as you can sit and watch the cattle out the windows, which we enjoyed. It was all around peaceful and an enjoyable getaway. The host was just as great as the place :)

This is a charming, cozy little place! Our family loved all the details, nature and scenery. Close to Crater Diamond State Park and local markets/store that we visited. We had an amazing time, God willing we’ll be back!

We just got from a fantastic weekend! Cathy and her son greeted us as soon as we got there and they were extremely friendly, down to earth host! We loved the cabins! They were very clean and the layout was great, and perfect location! We enjoyed the hot tub each night and sitting on the front porch during the evening with friends, after our trail riding all day! We highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!!!

This was our first stay in Mena, AR and we were pleased. The cabin was cute and tucked away. We enjoyed the peacefulness of this cabin location. We rode WPG trails for the first time also and we went at the perfect time since the leaves were starting to change and it was a beautiful ride everywhere we went. We look forward to going back again. (Hopefully when it’s not so dry and dusty 😄)

This has got to be one of the top Airbnb that we had ever stayed at! Everything was nice and clean. Gated access so we always felt safe and secure. Master bed was comfortable. Kitchen was stocked. Nice wrap around balcony with amazing views. Fire pit was one of the highlights of our stay. Cabin was very warm and cozy. Right by the highway but we never really noticed as location was surrounded by trees. Very secluded and quick access to get down to the main road into town for dining. Close to mining areas and beautiful hiking trails. Was hoping to see some animals out in the back but as we were mostly gone from the cabin during the day, we might have missed the chance to. However, I did catch a quick glimpse of a small animal that could be a wildlife canine on the other side of the hill behind the cabin but it was almost too fast that I could not make out what it was. Did see a few squirrels. Would definitely love to stay here again!!

We had an incredible stay at Kiamichi Mountain Villa! The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that are even better than the pictures. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed for two nights and were thrilled to receive an extra night free, as promised by the amazing superhost, Chad. Chad’s communication was impeccable, he was so responsive and helpful that it felt like he was right next door, just a text away. We had an unexpected issue with a flat tire and were worried about finding help in such a remote, quiet hilltop location with limited network coverage. However, Chad rescue immediately by texting us the directions the address. We can’t express how impressed we were with Chad’s care, combined with the beauty of this villa, made it the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. We wish we could’ve stayed longer, and we will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend this place—it’s truly a slice of paradise. -Noor

Bill and Alison have put a great deal of love and care into their cabin. The view from the front porch is gorgeous. They even put out some deer feed so that the beautiful deer would visit, which they did. There’s some nice bird watching on the porch also. We saw red-breasted grossbeak and indigo bunting! The place is quiet!! No streetlights either. The winding road up from downtown offers many opportunities to stop for a bike ride and hike. Everything was perfect and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Bill and Alison for your wonderful hospitality!

Our second stay here and it met all of our needs. We did have trouble turning around with the trailer so double check with the hostess if you plan to bring one with you.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Definitely will be returning.
